1/ We pay significantly more in taxes than most people ate awareof. Say you buy a widget. You pay sales tax on it. But. The mine that produced the ore to make the widget pays taxes too. Those taxes are an expense that gets folded into the price the ore sells for.

These days, the church asks for 10%, and the government takes 50%.

bro does not understand how the economy works. it is a terrible system, but not for the reason you'd think. see if the wealthy do no spend money, that money becomes stagnant, and as stagnant money increases, one of two things happen: 1) money becomes cougalated to a few people and theres less for the poor in general 2) more money has to be generated, thus lowering the value of money, this ofc affects the poor more than anyone. GOD only expects 10% as a test of faith the REST should be equally divied up into the hands of the community, like in ACTS. the bible is PRO socialist, not ANTI

Where did they get the idea? From the monarchs of England & France. They didn't just take obnoxious taxes they also required a couple of months of military service to boot. BUT, we left all that behind in 1776 so why let them do it to us AGAIN! No one should ever pay more than 2% of their gross earnings to any government.

3/ Maybe 90% of the price of all we buy is taxes. I don’t have the math ability to to figure the actual amount but this is close.
