We are reconciled with the Lord by the WORK of Jesus. Not by your confession to a priest, not by taking communion, and not by soothing your own conscious. If you feel condemnation, remember Romans 8 there is now NO condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. If you feel condemned, it is not from the Lord. It is likely because those that are leading you, want you to feel that way, so they can keep power over you. Jesus also said to take his yoke for it is easy, and you will find REST. Take His win, find your rest, and trust in Christ - not in manmade religiosity.
