Chadron’s rushing attack came up big for the Eagles, as they racked up an impressive 261 yards on the ground. Dual threat QB Aidan Thompson led the team with 106 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD, while Quincey Ryker also went over the century mark with 101 rushing yards. NM Highlands completed the New Mexico sweep, winning a 69-55 shoot out over Western NM last night (9/6/25), behind Jeffery Jones’ record breaking performance. True Freshman RB Jeffery Jones broke the D2 freshman single game rushing yards record of 380 yards, which was set Tiffin’s Garrion Corbin on 11/6/02. 🏈Last night, Jones ran for 385 on just 22 carries (20 less carries than Corbin’s 44) and scored 4 TDs, setting the new freshman single game rushing yards record. With a total of 608 rushing yards in his first 2 games, the freshman season rushing yards record of 2,064 (set by Joique Bell of Wayne St in 2006) appears obtainable. Jones needs 1,457 yards in the next 9 games (161.9 yards per game) to break that record. Jones wasn’t the only Highlands’ player that had a great game. UW-River Falls QB Kaleb Blaha (Kaleb Blaha) cemented himself in Falcons folklore, leading the program to its first D3 National Championship on the back of a historic season. The Coon Rapids, Minnesota native captured the Gagliardi Award and became the first D3 QB to be named a Manning Award finalist. He threw for 4,971 yards with a 41:10 TD-to-INT ratio, while adding 1,218 rushing yards and 18 TDs on the ground. .Duncanville High School Football 🏈’s Zachery Turner was a dangerous weapon for the Panthers at Tight End. A part of an elite receiving corps, Turner's sure hands consistently moved the chains for Duncanville this season. Despite being primarily a pass catcher, Turner has great blocking ability in the run game as well. He racked up 37 catches and 8 TDs this season at over 14 yards per catch. Turner is staying in DFW to play for SMU Football and is our Parker University MVP.

He had 818 air yards, seventh-most in the NFL that year. Other than Josh Gordon in 2013, Pryor's 1,007 yards were the most by a Browns wideout since Braylon Edwards in 2007.
