The claim that the FBI has little impact on America's homicide rate because “the FBI doesn't investigate murders” is demonstrably ignorant. The FBI doesn't ordinarily have primary jurisdiction over homicide. But that doesn't mean it isn't directly involved in taking murderers—and potential murderers—off the street. Under FBI Director Kash Patel, the FBI made 34,000 violent-crime arrests in 2025—up 112%—and disrupted 1,800 gangs and criminal enterprises. Operation Summer Heat produced 8,629 arrests and 2,281 weapons seizures. Operation No Escape arrested nearly 800 violent fugitives. In Georgia alone, 28 fugitives captured during No Escape were wanted for murder, homicide, or manslaughter. FBI fugitive teams in Los Angeles arrested suspects wanted for murder. In Memphis, FBI personnel actually helped solve cold-case homicides. Then there are 178 FBI Violent Gang Safe Streets Task Forces, where FBI agents work alongside state and local Task Force Officers. Those TFOs bring their state authorities—including homicide jurisdiction—while FBI agents bring federal racketeering, firearms, fugitive, drug, interstate, intelligence, forensic, and investigative capabilities. Patel's 59 Homeland Security Task Forces add another layer, targeting cartels, MS-13, Tren de Aragua and other TCOs for crimes that expressly include homicide, kidnapping, extortion, weapons trafficking and drug trafficking. The old FBI program designation was VCMO—Violent Crime/Major Offenders. The terminology has evolved, but the mission remains. And under Patel, it has been reinvigorated. Preliminary FBI data show violent crime fell 9.3% in 2025 and murder fell an extraordinary 18.1%. In this clip from Joe Rogan today, FBI Director Kash Patel goes into a six minute righteous diatribe about the bottomless corruption within Biden / Obama’s FBI. The Clinton machine funded and manufactured foreign opposition research, walked it over to the FBI, who leaked it to the media, then the FBI falsified evidence it submitted to a secret FISA court to illegally spy on Trump and his campaign. This is how fundamentally and incorrigibly corrupt the FBI was. FBI Actions: People are now outraged on social media because the FBI went to the home of a Muslim woman named Rolla Abdeljawad and asked her about her Facebook posts. People questioned whether they were really FBI and then attacked these agents doing their jobs. Let’s clarify a few things: 1) These are in FACT FBI agents. It has been confirmed. 2) The video is out of context. The confrontation started well prior to the video starting. The agents identified themselves to Rolla. Rolla then apparently ran into the other room to get her phone to record them. They then refused to ID themselves on Video, after already allegedly identifying themselves. 3) Here is one of the posts made on Facebook from the woman’s account apparently: “Israhelli terrorist filth. They think Ramadan is a weakness for Muslims not, realizing Ramadan is the strength. May Allah destroy every single despicable zionist, their supporters and backers.” This is one of many posts like it. 4) The FBI has a duty to stop any possible crime before it takes place. To do that they question people all the time. 5) This is NOT a violation of free speech. Threatening other people is NOT 'Free Speech'. Questioning someone about their speech is also not a violation of speech. I have had the FBI at my home several times after people had threatened my family or used my name to threaten to blow up airports and daycares. This is their job. If you have a problem with that then consider the numerous terror attacks they have stopped over the last 2 decades.
