At Polling Unit 065, Garki Geological Garden, AMAC, only one registered voter was assigned to the unit. INEC deployed full electoral resources to this polling unit, including three presiding officer staff, security agents, and party agents; however, the sole registered voter did not turn out to vote. Meanwhile, a nearby polling unit with over 100 registered voters recorded higher turnout and could have accommodated this voter. This situation represents a misuse and inefficient allocation of electoral resources by INEC. PPDC condemns this practice and calls for better planning and rationalisation of polling units to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and improved voter participation. #FCTDecides2026 #PPDCObserves #AreaCouncilElections

So, according to Dr. Sam Amadi, APC had approximately 100% polling unit agents during the 2023 election while other political parties had less. That shows how important agents are. However, we must not also forget what happened in Abuja during the council elections where APC allegedly bribed agents of other political parties to compromise. If 2027 election must be free & fair, a lot of work needs to be done & it has to start from now. If hungry & irresponsible people are chosen as agents, it only takes as little as 50k-100k for them to deny their party & work for APC.

The "Diamond Harbour Model" is in full swing on the Counting Day also. TMC goons are making the last desperate attempt to steal the Elections by obstructing the Counting Agents & Candidates of BJP West Bengal and other opposition political parties from entering the Counting Hall. They are being restricted from going towards the venue from 1-2 kms afar. Bombs are being hurled to intimidate the Counting Agents. They are being mercilessly beaten up, even kidnapped. The Counting Agents & Candidates couldn't enter :- # Fakir Chand College in Diamond Harbour # Keshpur College # Counting Centres at Galsi, Katwa, Amta, Bagnan, Barabani, Kirnahar and several other places. The State Election Commission must halt the Counting Process and ensure that all the Opposition Counting Agents & Candidates are able to reach the Counting Centres unobstructed. Only when they reach the venue, then only the Counting Process should begin.
