and that's not to say that hasan didn't deserve to have an interview because we all know that mf has been fighting to be heard by msm over the past few months and has been BEGGING to get interviewed. he did so well and i'm proud of him, but there is a larger systemic issue at play here and hasan has acknowledged that before as well.

Hasan is a big reason why leftists politics are being discussed. Framing it as hasan or black leftist is too antagonistic towards Hasan. It’s Hasan & black leftist should be represented. Also Hasan is Muslim, he is not a white man. Ofc black leftists deserve more recognition.
