Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said a person approached Border Patrol officers with a "9 mm semi-automatic handgun" and the person "violently resisted" before federal agents fired fatal shots. WCCO's Frankie McLister is on the scene, where Minnesota State Patrol assisting federal law enforcement have now declared an "unlawful assembly" after demonstrations in the state's capital intensified.
