Strategic infrastructure is laying the foundation for economic growth in Kogi State. During the Renewed Hope National Media Tour, the delegation inspected the ongoing flyover bridge at Kabba Junction on the Lokoja–Benin Expressway. Beyond easing congestion, the project will improve the movement of people and goods, reduce travel delays, and support trade and economic activities along one of Nigeria’s key interstate highways. The Kogi State Commissioner for Works, Barrister Salami Ozigi Dedaat, explained that the Abuja-Lokoja highway had been in a very deplorable condition due to being abandoned by past administrations but has now been earmarked for completion by President Bola Tinubu. The road has been divided into five different sections, each awarded to a different contractor to speed up its early completion.
