Federal Government Seeks to Halt First US Reparations Program for Black People ⚖️ The federal government on Tuesday asked a judge to halt the Evanston, Illinois program that offered Blacks $25k for 20th-century race-based housing discrimination. The city has already distributed over $7M under the program. The US Department... of Justice called the program racially discriminatory in a court filing on Tuesday, saying it violated the Equal Protection Clause of the US Constitution because it offered different benefits on the basis of race. AAG Harmeet Dhillon: “There are sound ways for a city to remedy past discrimination or direct resources to its most vulnerable citizens and neighborhoods. Simply handing out money on the basis of race is not the answer.”show more

🚨Biden Says Supreme Court is "Not a Normal Court" After Race-Based College Admissions are Ruled Unconstitutional Today, the Supreme Court ruled that race-based admissions to college are unconstitutional and instructed colleges to stop considering the race of applicants for admission. The 6-3 majority stated that the two programs "unavoidably employ race in a negative manner" and "involve racial stereotyping" in a way that violates the Constitution. Biden responded to this decision by stating "discrimination still exists in America," and added that "today's decision does not change that." As Biden was leaving the room, a reporter asked if the court is "broken," to which Biden replied "this is not a normal court." Agree with Biden's Criticism of the Supreme Court? Does the court’s decision promote RACIAL EQUALITY, or does it have the opposite effect?

I am pleased to meet with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the Dolmabahçe Palace in Istanbul. We emphasized the importance of strengthening relations between Türkiye and the Kurdistan Region. We also discussed efforts to form a new federal cabinet. We both hoped that the new federal cabinet will promote peace and stability in Iraq, serve all communities without discrimination, and resolve issues between the Kurdistan Region and the federal government on the basis of the Constitution. On the peace process and the disarmament of the PKK, I reiterated my support for the process, and we stressed the importance of continuing the efforts to ensure its success and completion.

“My vision for Australia is that we’re all Australians. Remember, regardless of race, colour, creed, or where you are from, we’re all treated as Australians equally on an individual needs basis, not based on race.” A very clear position by Pauline at this week’s news conference on why she wants to abolish the National Indigenous Australians Agency. This agency is responsible for a budget of approximately $4.5 billion. Despite this, Liberal leader Angus Taylor has attacked Pauline, making the following comments: “If she wants to judge people based on the colour of their skin or their race, One Nation needs to explain that. But our position on this is clear.” This goes further than being a misrepresentation; it is an outright lie. The Liberals are desperate. These are the tactics they’re now resorting to. Their record of failure on immigration and integration speaks for itself. They should not be trusted.

By far the most baffling part of this video is the columnist claiming that the state of California's reliance on nonprofits to administer a universal benefit program is evidence that there's *too much government* and not the obvious point that it's proof there isn't enough

Canada has announced a recruitment program for top research talent and H1B visa holders from the US. Mark Carney: "$1.7B for the world's most talent researchers - a thousand of them and targeted H1B visa requirements from the United States." How does it cost $1.7M per talent?! Where does money go? Top talent goes to the US under O-1 visa. Canada already has visas to attract talent. Immigration isn't the problem. The problem is that talent has nothing to work on in Canada and there isn't sufficient capital to grow and commercialize R&D intensive industries.

The APC has already started campaigning for the 2027 elections, but they're always intimidating the opposition. I personally recorded this video this afternoon in Kaduna while on my way to attend a business program. Most of the people in the gathering are the children of poor people. It’s sad.

Dear Stephen Grootes, can you please explain to us why you are insinuating that AfriForum should be "blamed" for the USA stopping aid to South Africa? How is it humanly possible that you blame a civil rights organisation and NOT the government for their racial-oriented policies? Yes, it's so unfortunate that millions of people won't get access to what the US provides to South Africa. Your attempt at saying this is a result of Afriforum and not the RSA government just once indicates how far up the asses of government the media are. In 2025 we have over 150 race-based laws in this country. The government wants to pass legislation that gives ONLY black businesses more than R100 Billion and the EWC bill that destroyed Zimbabwe aren't serious issues worth raising on the international platforms, according to you... however, Afriforum raising the flag is the issue. So what outcome were you hoping for? For them to shut up and allow race-based laws and EWC to continue so that RSA could still get the R8.4 Billion? You are what is wrong with this country. You will gladly overlook blatant racism and country-destroying policies in favour of keeping the "peace". Journalism is DEAD in this country.

Spencer Pratt is blasting Mayor Karen Bass for cutting a major street repair program — as potholes continue to plague Los Angeles drivers. The reality star and mayoral candidate says the city diverted $100 million meant for infrastructure (including a program that once fixed hundreds of miles of roads) to other priorities like homelessness initiatives. Despite significant spending on homelessness, the problem has only gotten worse overall under Bass in key metrics according to critics. Pratt argues: “The infrastructure of the city is everyone’s priority. We pay taxes. That money was meant for infrastructure.” He promises to refocus funds on fixing the roads if elected. Shouldn’t fixing potholes and basic infrastructure be a top priority for LA? (Video: AI)

Haike! The owners of Marble Towers have approached the High Court on an urgent basis, and an interim order was granted on 15 July. The order interdicts the City from demolishing or interfering with structures on the property, and from preventing access to it, pending a hearing set down for 10h00 on 16 July. The City will be in court and will respect the legal process, as we always do. Our broader work to restore a safe, dignified and lawful inner city for the people of Johannesburg continues. The video below shows one of the many shops that was operating despite a court order stating it should not, using illegal structures. #RebuildingJoburg #InnerCityReclamation

Today, we are on the streets and in the markets, campaigning for the African Democratic Congress (ADC) gubernatorial candidate ahead of Saturday’s election in Osun. We believe in our people. We believe in a government that works for the citizens, for the working class, for market men and women, and for the poor and vulnerable. The wealth of our nation should benefit everyone, not just a privileged few. The ADC is committed to restoring a people-friendly government that puts the interests and welfare of the people first. ADC! Arise and Shine!
