The sooner the west comes to terms with the fact that Ottawa doesn’t give a fuck about us, the better off we could be. Weren’t all of you just talking about team Canada?

Dive into the critical issues shaping economic policy, from President-elect Trump’s sweeping tariff proposals to the challenges Texas faces under rising government spending. Now is the time for bold reforms to protect taxpayers and ensure economic freedom thrives.

Don't you know Scott? "Team Canada" is doublespeak for "Team Quebec". The rest of Canada is nothing more than a mere piggy bank to be used at their disposal. Apparently.

@martinharriman1 Wakey wakey It really is time for Western independence/USA

Better wexit

It’s time the West does something far more radical than beg for respect.

Almost Everyone uses canola. Nobody uses electric vehicles. I sense favoritism towards Quebec.

But it does, Scott. It always has, it always will. Just look at the equalization payments, for heavens sake. Look at how politicians always defer to Quebec. Pipelines, Scott.

Hopefully with all this tariff nonsense Alberta and Saskatchewan will be forced to admit that it is and always has been just about Quebec and Ontario. The "Colonies be damned". We are unlikely to negotiate away that political reality. I don't like the idea of "51st State" but maybe we have an opportunity to negotiate our own economic agreements with the US. We don't need to keep bowing to Quebec and Ontario and their interests.

They don’t care about the west, and the west really has to figure that out. We’re on our own.
