A wallet verified by bank A, bank B, and bank C builds reputational credibility over time. Ian Kane Ian Kane, our Head of Partnerships, makes the case for why this kind of on-chain history can make someone more trustworthy than a single KYC check alone. It could also mean faster onboarding at a new institution, since the compliance work has already happened elsewhere.

About 80% of banks that adopted FedNow are receive-only. Nobody wants to be the one sending money out. Peter Glyman, CEO of Coinbax, says that's the real reason real-time payment rails have been slow to catch on: prevention of fraud and illicit transactions is top-of-mind.

Will Harris's friends told him he couldn't feed the world raising cattle as nature intended. His response: "I don't know that I'm supposed to feed the world. I think I'm supposed to feed my community." "We don't feed animals. We feed the microbes in the soil. The microbes feed the soil. The soils feed the plants and the plants feed the animals."

Fragmentation is the reason a lot of bank infrastructure spending never delivers full ROI. Banks have already invested in systems that work well on their own, but struggle to connect to other key business platforms and counterparties, and that gap is exactly where the returns disappear. In this video, Ian Kane Ian Kane, our Head of Partnerships, explains how Cosmos solves that fragmentation problem.
