Feeling bearish on oil? Something to keep in mind. The correlation between inventories and price fell apart 2 years ago. It is entirely possible that the market will look through short-term builds, and instead focus on the drawdown/elimination of OPEC spare capacity like in 2008:

When are we going to enter the long term gain part because tariffs imposed $1,000 tax on American families in 2025. Now this war is spiking, the price of oil spiking the price of gas spiking everything. And the economy is suffering.

🚨Prof. Steve Hanke: ‘Oil futures market have got it WRONG, oil prices will SKYROCKET by early August.’ ‘I think basically the markets just got things wrong…the futures market is just not anticipating things correctly because what’s going on with oil is that you have all this oil bottled up and not being delivered. And as a result of that, the demand for oil internationally is greater than the supply that’s coming into the market right now. And that gap between demand and supply is being filled by running inventories down. So inventories of oil are going down, down, and hitting almost rock-bottom levels in some countries. For most countries on average, I think by the end of July or early August we’ll hit very low, critical levels of oil inventories. Uranium contracts currently being negotiated: - Floors in the 90s - Ceilings in the 160s - A rise of ~20% in the last ~7 months The floor is higher than the current spot price. Utilities are still short uranium and, at some point in the near future, will have to enter the market in size. Uranium is one of my top picks for the long term.
