Thank you for being one of the few remaining voices of reason for a while there, not sure where we would've headed if no-one insisted on evidence then.

And of course not a single fact can be derived through science about consciousness and subjective experience. “Science” has utterly failed on their Hard Problem of Consciousness. But do continue.

I feel scientific, therefore what I say is science!

It was... before it was conflated with corporate technology sales.

It's sad that Scientific American no longer believes this

Facts are limited by the resources of knowledge that is available that are perceived at a certain place and time. It’s possible to claim “truth” based on a narrow foundation of facts but in reality that knowledge is false because of information that is yet to be known or available. (Ex. Ask someone about the possibility of planes in the 1800’s). Music, Art, Poetry bring about feelings that are universal. Everyone experiences some sort of movement within them when exposed to their ‘beauty’. These shared and common mutual responses are real, ‘true’, and tangible (tears, inspiration). There is as much “truth” in feelings as in facts. In a sense, there is a more “eternal” truth in that they are not based on limited finite knowledge or within the constraints of time but these same truths have existed for centuries and continually evoke these same enduring emotional responses. (Ex. Admiring Monet, reading Shakespeare, listening to Bach, or visiting Prague).

Feelings are not important at all.

A genealogy from Jesus to Adam in the book of Luke is evidence that humans didn't evolve from apelike ancestors.

The art of living isn't about owning every truth, it’s knowing which ones to hold and which ones to give the boot. Hug truth when needed, but when the time is right, cuddle a myth with me in the dim candlelight. 🤗
