WATCH: Very newsy exchange at the White House Tuesday afternoon between President Trump and CBS’s Ed O'Keefe about Iran, revealing the U.S. was gifted “a present” from whatever remains of the new/old Iranian regime that is “oil and gas related”.... President Trump: “Do you have another question? You haven’t been here in a while.” O’Keefe: “Well, on Iran, can you give us any more sense of who exactly in Iran it is, either Witkoff or Kushner you’re speaking with?” Trump: “Yeah. We had — I hate to say this in front of these young people — they’re not children. I spoke to most of them. They sound like adults to me. Even though they are sort of children, right? They’ll always be your children. But I hate to say it, but we killed all their leadership. And then they met to choose new leaders, and we killed all of them. And now, we have a new group and we can easily do that. But let’s see how they turn out. It’s — we have, really, regime change. You know, this is a change in the regime because the leaders are all very different than the ones that we started off with that created all those problems. So this was — I think we can say, Jason, this is regime change, right?” O’Keefe: “What makes you trust them?” Trump: “I don’t trust anybody. I don’t trust you. I mean, that’s only because I know you, but if I didn’t know you, I’d probably have more trust. But I don’t trust anyone.” O’Keefe: “Why bother talking to them?” Trump: “Why do you — why do you say that? Why do you say what makes you — do you think I trust them? I don’t trust them.” O’Keefe: “Then why bother talking to them?” Trump: “Because they’re going to make a deal. They’re going to make a deal. They did something yesterday that was amazing. Actually. They gave us a present. And the president arrived today and it was a very big present worth a tremendous amount of money. And I’m not going to tell you what that present is, but it was a very significant prize. And they gave it to us, and they said they were going to give it, so that meant one thing to me. We’re dealing with the right people —” O’Keefe: “Was it nuclear related.” Trump: “No, it wasn’t nuclear related. It was oil and gas related. And it was a very nice thing they did. But what it showed me is that we’re dealing with the right people because, you know, you don’t know because the leadership was killed, all gone. Khamenei, all gone. As the expression goes, the past Supreme Leader and then the new Supreme Leader was racked up at a minimum, racked up pretty good, and everyone else was gone. And then many of the people in the third tier are gone. But we’re dealing with a group of people that I think turn out and the — the present, the gift they made to us was very significant. And they said they were going to do it and it happened. And they’re the only ones that could have done it.”

Namjoon about They don’t know ‘bout us💜 🐨: ‘They Don’t Know ‘Bout Us’ was really a song that Jimin carried hard during the sessions. Jimin kept saying that through these sessions he improved so much, learning how to sing better, write melodies better, all of it. 🐨: Before making this song, me, Jimin, and some of the songwriters there had made another song called ‘Weak.’ We were talking about what kind of story we wanted to tell, and I brought up the phrase: ‘You make me weak.’ Because honestly, that phrase was about you guys, the fans. It’s something you say to someone you love, right? You always make me weak. But that can be both good and bad, kind of like ‘Normal.’ 🐨: What I mean is… you guys make me weak in a way that disarms me. Around you, I want to be honest. But at the same time, there are still things I can’t say. I still want to look cool too. But eventually all those shells and personas I wear start peeling away. We wanted to write about that kind of feeling. 🐨: So we made this song like: ‘You make me weak.’ Jungkook actually really liked that song, but it didn’t fit the color of the album. The song itself was good, but it felt too sweet, too obviously like a love song. 🐨: Then Jimin asked me, “Why You make me weak?” Why do they make you weak? 🐨: And I answered, ‘Because people don’t really know us. They can’t know us. Even I don’t fully know myself.’ 🐨: I think Jimin found that idea really interesting, the idea that people not truly knowing us is what makes us vulnerable. The next day, Jimin and I were working in separate rooms, and I think he took some kind of sample and turned it into “They Don’t Know ‘Bout Us.” 🐨: So if you look at the live performances, there are all those eyes and faces appearing on the tablets and screens, right? Originally, the song started as something written for ARMY. But eventually it became a much more aggressive song aimed at people outside who think they know us when they really don’t. 🐨: One thing I realized through these sessions is how fascinating creativity is. You never know where inspiration will come from or how a song will evolve. Personally, I really love this song too. And honestly, what I really wanted to say was simple: “They don’t know about us. The people outside of us, they don’t actually know us.” 🐨: People talk about economic impact and all these grand things, and sure, those are nice words. Like, ‘BTS generates trillions in economic value.’ Fine. But beyond all that, they can’t understand the bond we’ve built together, the years we’ve shared, the history we’ve lived through, the rapport between us. 🐨: If you’re not inside that relationship, you can’t truly know it. Because at the end of the day, it’s a relationship. 🐨: And I think songs like this are allowed to exist too. Personally, I think Jimin wrote it incredibly well.

🐶 honestly, we don’t really talk about sasaengs to fans. we choose not to 🐶 among the members, there are some with severe ssng issues and some less so we don’t see a reason to bring it up 🐶 but it was REALLY bad 🐶 i’m saying this now, six years into debut, but it was REALLY bad. REALLY 🐶 i just haven’t talked about it, but when i see other celebrities’ ssng stories, i feel bad and sorry for them and think they must be under a lot of stress. but honestly, ours weren’t any less, if anything, they might’ve been worse 🐶 anyway, that’s how it was. ofc the company takes care of us very diligently. they do so much of what they can, and our security team hyungs, they arrange it so they’re with us almost 24 hrs 🐶 but those people... there’s kind of no going forward with people like that. how should i put it? those people don’t know what’s wrong with their actions. they don’t know. so communication doesn’t work and punishment is difficult 🐶 (…) that kind of behavior is going in the wrong direction 🐶 they don’t follow me to my parents’ house. but if they really followed me there, i’d really just... (won’t let it slide). i hate it when they do it to me, but my family aren’t celebrities. only i am. my family aren’t celebrities and live ordinary lives 🐶 if they cross that line, it’s really... i might actually step back from everything like let go of things, even consider quitting being a singer 🐶 but that has never happened 🐶 anw, that’s how it was. you guys be careful 🐶 no matter how well the company protects us and how careful we try to be, this only gets solved if those kind of people don’t exist in the first place. it’s not something that can be fixed otherwise 🐶 haha it’s still funny people take my food though. seriously. stop taking my coffee haha stop taking the coffee i ordered tsk 🐶 it’s because of you guys that all the self produced content filmed at the dorm is gone. because of you. do you know how many fans want to see that?

🐤: I’ve wanted to say this for a while. I first became aware of it after reading fans’ letters. It’s strange. I don’t know if this person went from being a fan to an anti, or if they were never really a fan to begin with. Maybe that’s an odd way to put it. During my career, there are naturally fans I remember. People who support me, encourage me, and do kind things leave an impression on me. During live broadcasts, out of gratitude, I might say things like, “Oh, I heard you had a baby,” or “I heard this happened to you.” It’s a very normal way of communicating with fans. But after seeing that, it seems someone became jealous or developed some other kind of negative feeling. When I hear stories from these fans, I always think that if we all love Leeteuk together, shouldn’t we be able to enjoy that together and talk about positive things? Instead, it feels like, “Only I can love you, and I don’t want anyone else to.” Or even, “If I can’t have you, then neither can anyone else.” They engage in what is essentially cyberbullying, leaving hurtful comments and causing a lot of distress. It doesn’t seem to be directed at just one person either. They appear to target different fans who support and care about me, one after another. I’m not completely sure who it is, but I do have some guesses. I sincerely hope they stop. Wouldn’t it be much better if fans could simply enjoy their time together? I genuinely don’t understand why they do this. What are they hoping to achieve? Do they want me to fail? Or is it jealousy, like, “I don’t even like him, but why does Leeteuk remember you?” Honestly, I don’t know the exact reason.

RM shared that “they don’t know ’bout us” was inspired by conversations with Jimin about emotions, perspective, and how people perceive them! 🐨: “Um, ‘they don’t know ’bout us’ is a song that Jimin really checked up on and worked on a lot. Jimin always said that through this session, he really improved a lot. Not just in singing, but also in learning vocals and writing melodies too. Before making this song, me, Jimin, and the songwriters there had worked on another song called ‘Weak.’ While talking about what kind of story we should tell, I brought up the phrase, ‘You make me weak.’ That was what I had in mind. But actually, it was something directed toward you guys. ‘You make me weak.’ It’s something you’d say to someone you love. ‘You always make me weak.’ But that feeling can be both bad and good, kind of like normal emotions. [….] Then Jimin asked me, ‘Hyung, why is it “You make me weak”?’ Why does it make you weak? And I said, because people… they actually don’t know us. They can’t know us. Even I don’t fully know myself. While talking about that, I think Jimin found that idea really interesting. The idea that: ‘People make me weak because they don’t really know me.’ The next day, Jimin and I ended up splitting into different rooms, and I think there, with DOC and some sampling they brought in, they turned it into ‘they don’t know ’bout us.’ If you watch the performance, there are all those eyes and faces appearing on the iPad or tablet screens. So originally, this song actually started as something written for ARMYs, but in the end, it became a really aggressive song directed at people outside who don’t really know us at all.”

"In our country's governance, way of working, and politics, it is known and repeated every day by everyone, we all seem to agree that we must change our tragic history as Rwandans. We need to strengthen our governance structures, if you are elected to lead or appointed in other legal ways it is not just for people to occupy positions of leadership and think about themselves as the first thing, thinking that the benefits of their positions should start with just them, no. We should also benefit from our work and efforts as human beings, but in our responsibilities as leaders, we should first and foremost think about Rwandans. It is a terrible habit that never gets uprooted completed. There is something about positions, even in foreign languages people enjoy being called “VVIPs”; some people end up almost killing others because they don’t treat them as “VIPs”. People have become so full of themselves, so heavy, that if they pass by places and they don’t leave fear in their wake, do you know how a hurricane goes? If they don’t leave fear in their wake then it becomes a problem. They look back to check if they left a storm in their wake or if people had turned up in big numbers to praise them. This is definitely a bad habit. We have said many times that it should stop but I repeat it today and it should stop. If you want to feel important, I am not against you if that is who you are, but it should start with fulfilling your duties first. After you have completed your responsibilities, if you still feel important, I will leave you alone, it will not offend me, only that you are the one who will have to bear the consequences. Serving Rwandans is the most important thing and should be our first and foremost responsibility." President Kagame | Swearing-in of Prime Minister and New Members of Parliament.

🦖: I don’t feel anything (about the situation). It all started because of my fan and (the post) said “Why do gay tops like to wear Stussy?”. I felt like teasing them so I said “Because it is cool”. Then some people said “But with this style/appearance, you do not seem like a top”. When I express myself, no matter what I am, it is something that came out of my mouth. So I feel that when there are people who would judge, for example, when you stated, “you are a male”, but there is someone who says, “But you are not a male”. How would you know what that person is? isn’t that right? Regarding the topic of gender and preference in terms of your role during intercourse, it is a private and sensitive matter. Since you are not living with them, you have no reason to judge them on whether they are a top or bottom. I feel that we have no right to judge people on these matters. In 2025, everyone can choose who they want to be and in these times, the world is more open-minded. Anything can happen. This kind of thing is fluid and a very personal matter. 🦖: I feel that when it is a very personal and sensitive thing, there might be a certain group of people who are not be comfortable expressing that they are not straight. Besides not being straight, this also includes having to state their sexual preference or their role during intercourse. It is way beyond that. So I feel that if they are comfortable expressing who they are, but you just feel that their outward appearance does not align with what you think, and then you judge them by saying “But this is not right, this appearance should be a bottom. There is no way.” How would you know? Isn’t that right? OUROAD AT SIAM PARAGON #SiamParagonSummer2025xOUROAD #ต้าห์อู๋ #Daou #Oueiija

CHILDISH: CNN’s Jake Tapper seethes over friend Jimmy Kimmel being suspended indefinitely from ABC, defending his crass and divisive jokes by arguing it doesn’t really matter and implies Americans “ are holding late-night comedians to a standard for speech and decency, that we do not hold our elected leaders, including the President of the United States, to.” Legal guest Joe Moreno correctly pointed out this was a decision by ABC (and, I would add its affiliates).... Moreno: “Well, I don’t think ABC is canceling him because they’re afraid of the FCC. I think they’re afraid that they’re going to lose whatever audience he has left, because that’s such an offensive thing. He said. As far as look, there’s so much media alternatives at this point. So I think the FCC’s — the range of authority they have is less and less because there are so many other outlets to — to reach out to. So if Kimmel wants to reappear somewhere else, he will. I think the point is, though, that again, when you alienate a part of the population who at some point just stops watching, then you have no incentive to keep whatever left of that audience as there is. And then, you know, it just kind of goes down the drain.” Tapper: “Let me ask you a question. Do you think that we are holding late-night comedians to a standard for speech and decency, that we do not hold our elected leaders, including the President of the United States, to?” Moreno: “I guess, who’s we? I mean, you’re talking about audience watchers or American citizens?” Tapper: “The American — the American people, the — the government of the of the United States, as of now. Are we demanding that our late night comedians behave in a more upright and more conciliatory, insensitive way than we demand that our President act?” Moreno: “Well, I think it’s not so much demanding. It’s — if you don’t like what Kimmel saying, you turn it off. If you don’t like what Trump is doing, you don’t vote for him. So I think that’s the power you have. And so I don’t know that there’s any kind of.” Tapper: “But we’re not turning off Jimmy Kimmel. There’s being pressure applied to have him canceled.” Moreno: “That’s ABC’s choice though. They don’t have to cancel him.” Progressive Chuck Rocha: “But they feel the heat. That's when they do it.”

Lalinette’s and gbbs aren’t scary #lalinalena #ลีน่าลลินา 🎤: as you’ve been in a couple (gl cp), and have to play with P’Tor, are you worried about the fans? 🦋: not worried, because I believe the fans understand that really being in a film is another dream of mine. To be honest, I think all the fans understand that this my dream. I think that as an actress, this is like taking on a role, so I don’t feel pressure and know that all the fans understand. 🎤: how do you explain it, as you are now paired (in acting) with a man? 🦋: I think that the story isn’t a storyline that’s very sweet/love dovey, it isn’t the kind of ‘jin’ (shipping) type. It’s more a way of conveying love, also including the Thai culture and history. So I feel like in this film, it isn’t just about the chemistry between two people, but there’s other stuff people might be more interested in. 🎤: are you worried for, P’Tor? 🦋: am I worried for, P’Tor? P’Tor has come and quietly/secretly asked ‘Na (Lena) are your fans scary?’ I said ‘Nooo, P’Tor don’t be worried’ I believe that the fans understand and are ready to support this film. 🎤: P’Tor has some worries? 🦋: yes, P’Tor came and quietly/secretly asked ‘Na (Lena) are your fans scary?’ and I said ‘no no, not scary’ 🎤: …your fans are lovely (couldn’t hear the first bit sorry) 🦋: yes, they are cute/lovely. When they knew that I was going to be in a film everyone was like ‘very happy for p’na…the past 10 years in the industry and now finally get to be in a film’ I was very happy at that time. 🎤: it’s like they are happy for you? 🦋: yes, they’re happy for me. It’s like they get to see me achieve one of my dreams

🚨President Trump announced that there might be a high-level meeting with Zelenskyy as early as this weekend, but didn’t specify if he would participate, and once again reiterated that UA should hold elections right now (note: it’s against the constitution to hold elections during the martial law, also it’s simply not safe, and UA society is widely opposed to the idea). TRUMP: “They would like us to go to a meeting over the weekend, in Europe, and we’ll make a determination depending on what they come back with. We don’t wanna be wasting time. Sometimes you have to let people fight it out, and sometimes you don’t. But the problem with letting people fight it out is you’re losing thousands of people a week. It’s ridiculous. The whole thing is ridiculous.” Q: “And when you say that the European leaders want to have a meeting over the weekend, are you talking about with Zelenskyy or with them?” TRUMP: “With Zelenskyy and us.” Q: “And you said in an interview yesterday that you think it’s time for Zelenskyy to start accepting things. What things are you talking about?” TRUMP: “Well, I think he has to be realistic. And I do wonder about how long is it gonna be till they have an election. You know, for a democracy, it’s a long time. They haven’t had an election in a long time. There was a poll that came out, 82% of the people are demanding a settlement be made, Ukrainian people. They wanna see a settlement be made. I understand that. They’re losing thousands and thousands of people a week. They wanna see it ended. And I do say at what point, when do they have an election in Ukraine? That’s not casting aspersions on anybody, but they do have a massive corruption situation going on there… People are asking this question, ‘When do they have an election?’ Are they gonna have an election, or are they gonna just keep it going like this? So, I think it’s time to get that war settled, and I think it’s a war that can be settled. But it takes two to tango.”
