Felix the Cat, What a Legend #LeafsForever

Hextall thought he was coming down the ice for a walk in the park with Felix. The Cat had other ideas that night. The part that is missing from the video was Hextall’s face all bloodied up and Potvin leaving with the championship belt that evening.

I saw this live. I thought Felix was going to be a dead man but much to my great joy, he chucked knuckles. Hextall had a rep back then as a tough guy but Felix face as good as he got.

When Hextal showed up for practice the next day someone left a can of mace in his stall for the next time they played the Leafs… true story

What's funny is when you see half the dance partners looking over holding onto eachother and just watching them go like "WTF the goalies are going at it!"

I love that by the end all the other fights just stop and watch

Felix was one of the best leaf goalies of all time and played during such an exciting time for Leaf fans! I hope he gets the credit he deserves. #LeafsForever
