I discovered them on Instagram, where students give you a peek at their daily lives and what they’re working on. This is a middle schooler. Some of the high schoolers are doing really interesting research or work study projects that go super deep into niche interests.

I went down this rabbit hole a year or two ago. Something I love to see is the high schoolers who all have their own businesses! Every single one of them was making money, it was crazy honestly

My son has been there since 5th grade and currently in 8th grade. He will not be attending the HS there but it has been an incredible experience overall. They definitely are in "startup mode" and have some challenges but the overall premise of 2x learning + life skills is 🔥🔥

What would be interesting is to see if it’s working because kids are all bright outliers to begin with or not. There could be a self selection bias here.

In Arizona, a Charter school called Primavera Online that mostly caters to AT RISK YOUTH and is owned by a well known GOP donor has had its charter revoked after a hit piece by a Leftist reporter named Craig Harris. The Primavera charter school owner Damian Creamer donated to Kari Lake and President Trump. Now, Kari Lake’s opponent Katie Hobbs who is the Democrat Governor of Arizona is joining forces with the Left wing media to call for Primavera to be investigated and shut down by the state Charter Board. This charter school is the last resort for thousands of at risk students who would otherwise end up homeless or in juvenile detention. Democrats know they have no power on a federal level. This is a middle school which has only two teachers, who are teaching the students on contractual basis. According to the students rest of the teachers along with the headmistress often remain absent from the school. The school possesses no adequate facilities including doors & windows, desks & mats for students. It also lacks water & washroom facilities for the female students. Building of the school is ruined & is unsuitable to b used anymore. BSAC (BSAC) ,under the banner of BLC, demands for its renovation with all possible facilities & enough teaching staff to ensure the quality education of the students of Greshag. This is required on urgent basis.

The students at the Philadelphia High School of Performing Arts walked out because of a new dress code. No plunging necklines, back lines, midriffs, short shorts. Students are taken out of class if they violate the code and their parents are called to bring appropriate clothing. This is all in spite of a school district wide rule that children cannot be taken out of class because of clothing. Does the school district or the school have to change their policy? What is your opinion on dress codes?
