FEMA is actively blocking volunteers from delivering RVs, tiny homes, and other housing units to people living in tents in #WNC because they are "in a flood zone". The Fox News host can't even believe it. The truth is so much more horrifying than any conspiracy theory.

If you want to help keep people out of cold tents and put them into warm shelter, I recommend donating to operation shelter by @TheShawnHendrix or @Mercury1Charity Both I have personally seen come through for people in WNC.

Just to be clear… There are a lot of people trying to take advantage of the situation in #WNC. Please be careful when donating. One of the reasons I love Shawn is that he will film himself delivering things people have donated directly to residents. That adds a level of trust and credibility to donating to Operation Shelter, you can actually watch it live in real time on X. Mercury One literally donated a couch to a family in need this morning within 10 minutes of us asking for it. These are the people you should be supporting. If you want to support a larger organization, the only one I recommend is Samaritans Purse as I have seen them around town regularly doing real work like chopping down trees or cleaning debris.

Every house, business and condo on Florida's coast is in a flood zone. There are millions living there.

Exactly.

@mamashelly76 But it wasn’t a “flood zone” until this happened and won’t be again - unless of course it’s 100% a LAND GRAB by by big money.

This is the Federal Government out of control: @FEMA @FEMA_Deanne These people are facing 20 degree low's this week and you're not assisting them in any way of moving into heated facilities. @FoxNews reported last week that their hotel vouchers were up! Congress needs to step in and have DHS and FEMA cease and desist all actions and put in place competent organizations with "common sense" to help. I heard there were a lot of FEMA trailers in Hickory. Please get this done ASAP! Let's start with humanity FIRST and later you can resolve the flood zone from 100 to 600 feet. Fix the immediate needs of food, water, safety, sanitation, shelter, and survival. You can work on the rest after the Spring rains! @POTUS, @SenThomTillis @SenTedBuddNC @SpeakerJohnson @ChuckEdwards4NC @NC_Governor @NCGOP @NCDemParty @realDonaldTrump @elonmusk

And STILL no activity from @HouseGOP or @SenateGOP regarding this issue. Nothing. Not even a casual remark to a reporter on the street as they head to cocktail hour or yet another vacation. I mean, not even a, "Hey, Reporter Person, what's the status of WNC?"

@SenThomTillis and @SenTedBuddNC How about you useless fucks do something for your constituents 🖕
