A new low in California's war on women's sports. The state is forcing Truckee Tahoe Unified to compete in California instead of Nevada, despite this being impractical and unsafe for student-athletes. The reason: Nevada does not allow biological males in female sports. For 40 years, the district has chosen to compete in Nevada because sports like soccer are played in the spring there. In California, these are winter sports, which is impractical in snowy areas like Tahoe and presents travel safety concerns. Yet the state has overridden this local decision for no other reason than to preserve the ability for biological males at the district’s schools to compete in the female division. This will decimate sports like soccer and tennis, and schools in the district may not even be able to field teams.

The decision against Sally Grover today is one of the most disgraceful in AustralIan judicial history. It strips away the freedom of females to create private groups for women and girls only, and forces them to compete against biological men. Parliament just amend Sex Discrimination laws immediately to clarify that reference to women, is a reference to biological women. If Labor and Albanese don’t support this amending the law, they will be crushed.
