Education is mandated for both women and men in Islam (ALL muslims). What you are advocating is against Islam, so don't bring religion into this. Add a caveat to your opinion thst this may be a problem in the west. We Muslims in the East (the majority) don't have these issues.

I don’t agree with this. The Prophet SAW said to marry for piety and that’s our Sunnah. Nothing else is above that. Even righteous slaves found wives to marry them due to their piety.

I want women to have access to all educational resources. But I think the idea that we should be "empowering women" is dangerous and needs to be challenged. Women have rights and should be treated fairly; there is no need to "empower" them, whatever that means.
