FYI , Audrey Werro dominates the head-to-head record 5-0 against Femke Broeders-Bol in the 800m

This is Femke's debut season in the event. There is a lot of potential

Werro is 22 years old made her senior breakthrough in 2025 Femke boll is 26 years old and is already a veteran of track and field across many distances and disciplines

Why is everyone behaving as if Bol is so new to the sport and such a phenom and Werro is a veteran. Audrey is 22 years old and broke onto the scene 2 years ago, massively improving with every race. Bol has been a professional for over 5 years. Werro is now getting started.

She is going to be first next year. She improves every race.

Femke Bol’s closing speed over 800m is seriously impressive. Audrey Werro had to fight all the way to the line

Werro is in every race Femkes pace maker up to the end. However, Femke can't beat the pace maker.

The both times that Femke has finished close to Werro they ran the 1st 400m in 55 seconds and Werro finishes in 1.54 high. When the 1st 400m is a more reasonable pace Werro runs 1.53 and Femke is not as close. I hope Audrey realises that.

The 800m field has become very competitive. Hopkinson has to find another level if she wants to retain her Olympic title. Werro was tired but Bol was fbcking knackered at the end.
