Fernando Torres vs Nemanja Vidic was box office 🍿

Scored a grand total of 3 goals in 15 games against Vidic.. Vida was far superior.

“Vidic was Torres dog he used to take him for a walk” clown 🤡 Torres vs Vidic 2 goals in over how many pl games? for me drogba vs vidic are more interesting to watch than Torres vs Vidic imo 💀

Torres in Liverpool shirt was unplayable in Premier league

I remember how scared I was of Torres each time we had to play Liverpool. Then Chelsea signed him and he was just a shadow of the man I use to fear. El Niño

Proper striker vs proper defender. No hiding, no avoiding duels, just two elite players going directly at each other. Premier League heritage.

Fernando Torres was a beast while playing for Liverpool

Torres definitely gave Vidić some difficult afternoons, but people sometimes talk like he dominated him every single time 😭 That rivalry was much more competitive than the clips suggest.

The late 2000s Premier League hits different. Torres in that Liverpool away kit was pure terror for defenders, even a great like Vidic, Vidic got the red cards, but he also won the trophies.

Modern day CBs get too much stick coz their mistakes are disproportionately amplified by social media (which didn’t exist or wasn’t effective in the past). If VVD or even Saliba gets bullied like this even in just one game, the internet would be on fire with people mocking them

People tried to make others believe that Torres was superior in this Battle But Torres scored like 3 goals in 15 games against Vidic

This was peak Premier League football. Torres running at Vidic, Vidic refusing to back down. The intensity in every single duel was different.🔥

Vidic was so good but he never figured out Torres for some reason

How is this Vidic guy celebrated as one of football's greats when he played just like Ronald Araujo?

1-4 was worse than 7-0 tbh

Waiting in 2036 to post Halaand vs Gabriel mahgares

Torres was a proper number 9.

Torres v Vidic was basically Ali v Frazier with more shirt tugging and worse hair. Honestly I'd still watch a full 90 of just those two, bro

Gives the Gabriel and Haaland vibes right, but the most noticeable thing is the respect they had for each other.

Vidic won plenty of battles in that era, but Torres won the ones people still talk about.

Am crying they both ass

Torres is underrated 💔

One of those battles you could watch all day. Pure Premier League cinema. 🍿🔥

Good

Vidic defending Torres like the Premier League just added boss music.

Torres was a nightmare for him

Most of this Manchester United legends wouldn't survive this modern era of social media, ngl
