The signs were so visible and people just hanging around 🤔

The engineer needs to be arrested. Even the pillars are not solid to carry to build. I pray for the people affected

From what I see here and the sign and awareness people have, no should should be trapped or die from this cos there was a enough time.

Was it an occupied building ama it was under construction?

It was under construction but the ground floor and basement was already occupied by retailers selling clothes, cosmetics and shoes.

I knew it, nyumba hiwezi tu anguka bila signs ,I'm sure it had developed cracks for more than a month ago

Ni Kama wali sense inaanguka

Can’t make a skyscraper from mud and straw🤣🤣

Surely the signs were there ! Ignorance or neglect or both

Looks like everyone knew what was about to happen, Why was anybody still inside that building 😭

Someone recorded this for almost 2 minutes, meaning the signs were all over

This engineer and contractor were taking chances, there should be reinforced concrete pillars there not bricks

The sings were already there and no one thought about sounding an alarm and sealing off that place.

Why the annoying music.

They're lucky it caved in instead of tipping over. It would have been much worse. Still, all the shabby stuff in Africa is a ticking 💣.

If they knew it was collapsing and started filming, we should not have casualties, right? But wakenya ni nani 🤔

Worst way to start the weekend

Not a random act to film moments before it collapsed 🤔

Problem with shithole countries who approves such? The city management allowed such an unsafe structure to remain? This shit would never even be build in SA cities with sticks like its 1880 ffs

Kwani they knew it was about to collapse?

So a building has all the indicators that it's about to collapse and good Kenyans are busy strolling within and taking videos and camera. Then we have others parked their cars without care....Hope the owners of those cars won't sue for damages

The incompetent corruption ridden Nairobi City Hall has caused this, it's so sad.

So people were aware

This and other recordings prove that someone knew this building was going to collapse. Could this have been a controlled demolition?

Seems like the signs were already there

This is what happens when we start buildings we don’t have the money or discipline to finish properly. In Africa we love doing things half-half foundations half-done, floors added without proper support, work pauses and resumes whenever the cash comes.

Engineer @JonesMbevi what could have happened here?

This is the consequence of corruption.Who authorised the construction.

Why do people like adding unnecessary music to videos?.

Casualties??

The keep saying curiosity killed the cat,but I think it killed more people than cats..

Hope the site was Evacuated?

Shops were operating in an unfinished building. How does that work?

The signs were visible while people just ignored

Looks like people knew it gonna collapse and were waiting for the moment

Clear signs the bulding was weak and ready to collapse. Sad!
