I’m someone who takes a while to get ready, no matter where I’m going. I like having everything in order, so I rarely leave the house at the last minute. The thing I hate most is being late, so I always do my best to avoid it. When it comes to competitions, I take getting ready even more seriously. I double-check everything, make sure I haven’t forgotten anything, and try to prepare not only physically but mentally as well. I feel much more confident when everything is under control. What about you? How long does it usually take you to get ready for a meeting, a trip, or any other plans?

🚨Jason Gillespie brutally cooked Aaqib Javed and PCB🤯 Jason Gillespie said :🗣️ "I feel for the players, this is these guys livelihoods. From the outside, it looks like they are playing with fear. Salman Ali Agha goes from captaining the team in the first Test against England to being out of the team for the second Test & on the plane home before the third Test. How does that work? It's pretty clear they don't have a selection strategy at all, particularly under Aaqib Javed. They change their mind like they change their pants". He further added : Aaqib Javed came out recently & blamed Gary Kirsten and myself for everything that is going on. Aaqib has been the chairman of selectors for the past two years. We haven't even been there. Somehow, he claims it is our fault. Make sense out of that. I think Javed needs to look at himself in the mirror. There is definitely no communication between Aaqib Javed, who is meant to be chairman of selectors, and the players. The players who were sacked heard it through family & friends and the media that they had been sacked.

I’m so proud to finally tell you my second album Kicking My Feet is coming out October 17!!! When I started writing again, after being on tour for the most part of 2023, I didn’t know if I was ready for album #2. I’d just signed with Giant Music, and I was still figuring out who I wanted to be as an artist. But the process of writing this record- finding my closest collaborators, writing and rewriting over 200 songs, chasing ideas that felt more honest and real to me than ever… it pushed me to drop my guard and say what I actually mean. And that’s what this album is, a collection of songs where I share things I truly truly mean. The response to I Can Die Now has been such a grounding reminder that my music always finds it’s way to the right people and I can’t wait for you to listen to “The Suburbs” which is OUT RIGHT NOW!! I’m so lucky to have you all, and I can’t wait for you to have “Kicking My Feet” in less than 2 months!!! I’ve been working really hard on merch, vinyl and CDs which are all available for pre-order on my website now, every pre-save, pre-order and purchase helps this bby have the best start in the world. Kicking My Feet is yours on October 17, but I’ve got a few more surprises before then, so don’t go too far x LOVE YOU!!!

I built HypeMeter in 4 hours with Jev + Minds. Its best trick is saying no, and deciding what is likely a rug vs real hype. I am giving away an Argonaut NFT to reward Beta testers. Yes, that's you. Every "alpha bot" screams BUY. None of them tell you which cheap listings are cheap for a reason. So I wired two things together: Jev by TypeSafe AI . It does not write essays. It answers typed questions: pick one, score this, yes or no. About a third of a second per decision, cheap enough to judge every cheap listing instead of a shortlist. Minds by Minds by Animoca Brands . Your own AI agent. Tell it your strategy in plain words ("Argonauts under 0.3, grade A or better") and it messages you one digest a day, pings you whenever steals are available. First full sweep: 898 listings across 20 collections, including Robinhood (of course). Calls that survived: one. And that one was my own bug: an "83% edge" that was a 2-item bid read as one. The sanity check now kills those before anyone sees them. That is the product. Most cheap NFTs are traps, and it says so. It also hunts rares priced under what their trait actually sells for. Yesterday it flagged an Argonaut with a 1-in-70 palette, listed at 0.79 ETH two days before the same palette sold for 0.9 and 1.0. No hindsight. Every call is written down the moment it is made, then graded at 24 hours and 7 days. Public scoreboard, losses included. Free while in beta. Sign in with Minds: And yes, the giveaway is real: Argonaut #2764 goes to someone who actually uses it. Every active day is an entry, there is a leaderboard, and signing in before 24 Sept gets you 3 bonus entries. Rules on the site. RT and comment "Jev" for extra entry. Have fun sniping.

Most people can’t hold a Reverse Plank because their nervous system doesn’t feel safe being that exposed. Collapsed shoulders and tight hips are postures of defense. This pose invites the body to leave that state. One minute a day can begin to reverse years of silent tension. If you want the fitness results you see in your mind to become real, you’ll need to teach your body how to relax first. Otherwise, forget the great transformation. You'll burn out before coming close to changing. At first, you may need to adjust the position or do shorter sets. You will notice slight improvements each time, whether it is strength, mobility, or endurance. One day, you will unlock the posture and feel much lighter within. Form Cues: - Hands shoulder-width apart, fingers pointing toward feet or slightly outward - Press palms firmly into the ground to engage shoulders - Lift hips in line with shoulders and heels - Squeeze glutes and push hips up, avoid letting them drop. - Keep legs straight and active, heels grounded - Draw shoulder blades down and together - Open the chest. - Gaze slightly upward or keep neck neutral - Breathe steadily, through the nose if possible - Hold tension evenly through arms, core, and legs Here are three adjustments you could make to ease into the Reverse Plank: 1. Bend the knees slightly - What it does: Reduces the load on tight hip flexors and stiff shoulders. - How to do it: Instead of keeping the legs fully straight, maintain a small bend at the knees and press through the heels. Focus on lifting the hips and opening the chest. 2. Use yoga blocks under the hands - What it does: Elevates the wrists and reduces wrist extension strain, especially for people with limited mobility or wrist pain. - How to do it: Place yoga blocks (or low, stable books) under your palms to give your shoulders more space and reduce the pressure on the wrists. 3. Turn the fingers outward slightly - What it does: Opens up tight shoulders and reduces internal rotation. - How to do it: Instead of pointing the fingers directly toward the feet, turn them slightly outward (about 30–45 degrees). This gives the shoulders more room to move and helps you stay open. You're not reading this by accident. Start using Reverse Planks to take your quality of life to the next level.

Tired of using basic text links and screenshots to explain your digital marketing and SEO services? As someone who doesn't have the time to learn advanced video editing software, I threw my prompt into Pexo and chatted my way through to the dynamic kinetic typography promo below—complete with bright sky-blue aesthetics, bouncing text on hanging lines, hand-drawn line doodles, and a crisp electro-pop rhythm. This time, I used Pexo. Pexo is an AI video creation tool where you can just chat with it to make videos. Tell it what you want, how to tweak the visuals—plain English works fine. Even someone like me with zero editing experience can jump right in. First, a bit of background. I usually build solutions, not videos. This time, I wanted to properly introduce a sleek brand promotion—featuring fast text flashes, stacked columns, and clean line art—only to realize the real hassle isn't writing the copy, it's the video editing. I don't know After Effects. And I sure don't want to burn my evenings learning timeline keyframing just to drop one clean promo. I tossed the concept into Pexo and told it: Make me a 15-second horizontal text-flash promo for an SEO service, keeping scene transitions under 3 seconds with bounce-and-snap motion. It didn't spit out a video right away. First, it aligned with me. Sky-blue base, cobalt typography, periwinkle panels, and precise pacing. Feels like hashing out requirements with someone who actually knows motion design. I fired back a few sentences in plain English. Once confirmed, it went off and ran with it. What came back was the finished 10-second flat graphic animation. Bouncing text drops, stacked rows, and hard cuts landing right on the beat—all there. No dragging footage into a timeline. For someone who just wants to explain their brand clearly, that's a game-changer. You can keep chatting after that. If an animation drags, tell it to tighten up. Never touched the timeline the whole way. The one below is what came out of chatting with the platform concept. If you've got a fresh brand, want an intro video, but don't feel like learning editing first—give Pexo a shot.

A Citadel quant sat down next to me at Verve on Gough and asked why my laptop had four terminals open I was scanning Polymarket. Four panes. Each one a different agent. He was killing time before a flight. Saw the screens. "Is that a multi-agent setup on prediction markets. Who's orchestrating" Claude. One prompt per agent. They don't share memory. Only a queue file. He pulled up a chair. "Walk me through. I do this for equities at work. I want to see your agent separation" Agent 1 is the scanner. I piped raw JSON from the official Polymarket CLI straight into Claude and told it to score every live market on three things. Edge against my probability estimate. Book depth on both sides. Hours to resolution. Thresholds kill 93% of markets before the brain ever sees them. Edge under 7 cents gone. Depth under $500 gone. Under 4 hours to resolution gone. Over 168 gone. 487 live markets collapse to 35. "Seven cents is your transaction cost buffer" Yes. Below that the gas and spread eat the trade. A green fill popped. +$52 on a BTC dominance market. "And the brain" Agent 2. Runs four checks on every survivor. Base rate from history. News in the last six hours. Whether any of the 47 top wallets are currently holding. And a disposition check - is the crowd making a known cognitive error. Three out of four must agree. Otherwise drop it. 86 million trades. I let Claude rank every wallet with 100+ fills and a 70%+ win rate. It returned 47 names in four minutes. Top 20 wallets made more than the bottom 13,000 combined. "Concentration like that means the signal is there. Most retail books look like a normal curve. Yours looks like power law" Kelly sizing does the rest. Capped at quarter Kelly. If f-star goes negative the trade dies no matter how confident I feel. "Overbet once and the bankroll is gone. You respect that. Good" Agent 3 is execution. Three strategies pulled out of a 53k line Typescript repo. Arbitrage across related markets. Convergence when price moves toward my estimate. Whale copy with a 60 second delay on the 47 wallets. Two agents agree full position. One agent only half. Disagreement no trade. "What did you cut" Sports. 52% win rate. Already priced in before the scanner flags it. Markets under $50k in depth. Slippage makes every edge a coin flip. Holding to settlement. The top wallets exit at 73% of max profit every time. I copied that. Agent 4 watches exits. Three triggers. Target hit at 85% of expected move. Volume spike 3x the ten minute average. Thesis stale 24 hours with no movement. "91% of the smart wallets exit before resolution. That's the trade" Yeah. Being right is not the same as being profitable. Setup: Claude API $20 Hetzner VPS $5 Four repos free Total $25 a month $200 seed. 27 days ago. $14,300 now. 271 trades. 74% win rate. Sharpe 2.47. Copy here: "How long did the build take" Two weekends. One to wire the scanner and the CLI. One to get the agents talking through the queue file. He watched the volume exit trigger fire on a Fed cut market. Position closed at 0.71. +$184. "Nobody at my shop runs four agents on their own money. We run eight on the firm's. You got the same structure on a laptop for the price of a sandwich a month" He asked for the repos. I sent them. He messaged me from the gate. "Publishing this tomorrow. My PM is going to ask me why I didn't do it first" I told him his PM already has a Bloomberg. That's the problem.

And just like that, the final pretence collapses. In Oldham, the line hasn’t merely been crossed, it’s been trampled into the dirt and laughed at. The Labour machine that once hid behind respectable faces no longer even bothers. The people they defended, protected, and quietly enabled are now stepping forward themselves - as candidates. This is what institutional decay looks like when it stops caring who sees it. A getaway driver for a cop killer seeking public office. Heroin dealers rebranded as “community ambassadors” and convicted torturers stand alongside children’s safeguarding leads. Meanwhile, Labour politicians are not whispering support but openly, shamelessly endorsing them. This is not a scandal. It is not a mistake. It is not ignorance. It is complicity. It tells every victim that justice is negotiable. It tells every criminal that power is attainable. And it tells every decent resident that the system no longer belongs to them. This is how democracies rot. Not with tanks in the streets, but with criminals in council chambers and cowards applauding from the sidelines. Welcome to Oldham. Where the mask is off. Where the moral floor has collapsed. And where the question is no longer “How did this happen?” but “Who still has the courage to stop it?” ———— I’m Raja Miah. For seven years, I led a small team that exposed how politicians protected the rape gangs. Before that, I spent over a decade trying to stop violent extremists exploiting abandoned communities. My work is free because the truth must circulate. But truth without numbers is easy to crush. The government does not fear facts. It fears scale. Starmer and the Labour Party fear thousands reading, sharing, and backing the same work because numbers mean witnesses, pressure, and consequences. That’s why this matters: 🔴 Subscribe to the newsletter. It’s free. Every subscriber is a number they can’t erase. Every reader widens the circle they can’t control. A few supporters can be ignored. Thousands cannot. This is how this campaign survive. This is how we see this through. This is how voices like ours stops being managed and starts being feared. 🔴 Prefer a one-off contribution? 👉 👉 No sponsors. No parties. No institutions to lean on. Just numbers. Growing fast enough that shutting this down becomes impossible. We don’t need everyone. We need enough. We need you. – Raja Miah MBE

Went to my second ever broadway show the other week and it was a one-man performance by Daniel Radcliffe aka Harry Potter. He spends the 20 minutes before every show handing out props and recruiting people to interact with him during the show. Never seen someone so dialled in. Was an amazing performance, 1.5 hours straight, no intermission. He does this night after night. Did some math with Claude and he probably makes $50K per week which is great $$ but still considerably less than what he would make for a movie role. His parents also helped him invest his Harry Potter earnings well and he makes $660K/month just off investments (UK companies are required to make full financial disclosures, very different from the US but very useful for this kind of pocket watching). Which means he never has to work again he just continues to do this for the love of the game. These kinds of in-person experiences and acts of passion are one of the few things that can’t be replaced by AI Oh also he does not like it when you call him Harry or bring up his old movies. Ask me how I know.

Hospitality venues wanting to book live music or manage entertainment usually get stuck dealing with an endless headache of spreadsheets and late invoices. As someone who can't edit videos to save my life, I threw my SaaS concept into Pexo and chatted my way into the product video below—complete with warm blush aesthetics, clean geometric typography, and smooth scene transitions. This time, I used Pexo. Pexo is an AI video creation tool where you can just chat with it to make videos. Tell it what you want, how to tweak the visuals—plain English works fine. Even someone like me with zero editing experience can jump right in. First, a bit of background. I usually build products, not videos. This time, I wanted to properly introduce JAM JUICE—the world's first entertainment operating system for hospitality pros—only to realize the real hassle isn't writing the copy, it's the video. I don't know AE. And I sure don't want to burn my evenings learning editing just to drop one clean promo. I tossed the concept into Pexo and told it: Make me a warm, clean SaaS promo for hospitality professionals—keep scene changes under 3 seconds and make it look professional. It didn't spit out a video right away. First, it aligned with me. Soft blush background, charcoal typography, coral-pink keywords, and precise pacing. Feels like hashing out requirements with someone who actually knows motion design. I fired back a few sentences in plain English. Once confirmed, it went off and ran with it. What came back was the finished 19-second editorial piece. Text sync, smooth transitions, and a gorgeous color palette—all there. No dragging footage into a timeline. For someone who just wants to explain their product clearly, that's a game-changer. You can keep chatting after that. If an animation drags, tell it to tighten up. Never touched the timeline the whole way. The one below is what came out of chatting with the platform concept. If you've got a fresh SaaS product, want an intro video, but don't feel like learning editing first—give Pexo a shot.

How do you turn a scene idea into a Prompt? All you need to do is roughly describe what's in your head to an LLM. It doesn't have to be perfect or highly detailed. Once it understands the core idea, it can help turn it into a well-structured prompt. In my case, I use a custom skill file that I built myself. After I provide the idea, it generates both a storyboard and video prompts for me. I then review the outputs and refine them through iteration, giving feedback like "make this shot wider," "change this action," or "move the camera here." After a few rounds of adjustments, I usually arrive at the final result. The process is much closer to directing than writing a perfect prompt from scratch. The Idea: Two characters face each other. Serenity fights like a Wing Chun master. She unleashes a rapid barrage of punches into Ruk's abdomen. The fight should feel highly energetic and sakuga-driven, with exaggerated action beats and dynamic choreography. Use 14 panels. The final attack should show Serenity launching high into the sky, then diving straight down at extreme speed. She lands with both feet on Ruk's head, driving him deep into the ground and burying him on impact. All other scenes should be equally creative and visually inventive. Emphasize fast pacing, flash cuts, burst cuts, sudden perspective changes, dramatic impact moments, and imaginative camera angles. Use aggressive screen direction, strong momentum shifts, dynamic framing, and escalating choreography to create a thrilling, high-energy martial arts sequence. This is the final video, you can check the prompts in the replies. Used tools: Midjourney, Codex, GPT Image 2, Seedance 2.0, Suno, Capcut

oh wow I'm literally enjoying the match made with GPT Image 2 + Seedance 2.0 on Yapper prompt Character Description Young woman in her early 20s with the exact same facial features as the reference image, realistic appearance, soft oval face, fair warm skin tone, expressive almond-shaped hazel eyes, naturally thick brows, delicate nose, soft pink lips, gentle elegant smile, realistic skin texture, loosely tied brunette hair with soft face-framing strands. Wearing a stylish red-and-black football jersey layered over a gray oversized hoodie, casual streetwear vibe, slim build, slightly shy personality, authentic candid facial expressions, seated among football supporters inside a packed stadium. No celebrity look, no model styling, completely ordinary realistic sports fan energy. Updated Version (Football Stadium + English Commentary) Second 1 Wide shot of a massive professional indoor football stadium in South Korea. A giant hanging jumbotron dominates the center of the arena. Bright stadium floodlights, realistic crowd movement, subtle audience chatter, distant referee whistles, and authentic football match atmosphere. The jumbotron displays a young female audience member wearing a red-and-black football jersey layered over a gray oversized hoodie, casually sitting in the stands. Faint English sports commentary can be heard naturally in the background: “Looks like we’ve found one of the fans enjoying tonight’s match…” Second 2 Camera remains focused on the jumbotron screen. Subtle Korean live-TV graphics appear naturally in the corner: minimalist Korean broadcast interface, translucent scoreboard overlay, small Korean text, tiny red LIVE icon. The young woman still does not realize she is being shown on the giant stadium screen. English commentator: “She has absolutely no idea she’s on camera right now.” Second 3 People sitting nearby begin noticing her on the screen. Some spectators laugh softly and point toward her. The young woman starts looking around in confusion, trying to understand what is happening. English commentator chuckles lightly: “And there it is… realization is slowly kicking in.” Second 4 The broadcast camera smoothly tilts downward from the hanging jumbotron toward the real audience seating area. Realistic long-lens sports camera movement with subtle handheld micro-shake from a live TV operator. Crowd noise swells naturally. Second 5 The camera finally locates the young woman in the crowd. Autofocus briefly adjusts and locks onto her face. Slow zoom-in begins naturally like a real football broadcast reaction cam. English commentator: “We found her. Front row of embarrassment tonight.” Second 6 The zoom becomes tighter and slightly faster. The young woman suddenly realizes the live camera is focused on her and that her face is being displayed on the stadium screen. Her expression instantly becomes awkward and embarrassed. Nearby fans laugh naturally. English commentator laughing softly: “There it is! She knows now.” Second 7 Medium close-up shot. She gives a nervous laugh, briefly looks away from the camera, shoulders slightly tense. Her hands move awkwardly as if unsure how to react. Nearby audience members smile and laugh naturally. English commentator: “You’ve got to wave now. Stadium rules.” Second 8 The camera zooms even closer in authentic live-TV fan-cam style. Background spectators become softly blurred due to telephoto lens compression and shallow depth of field. The young woman forces a shy smile while partially covering her face. Subtle compression artifacts and realistic sports-broadcast sharpness. Second 9 Tight realistic close-up. She avoids direct eye contact, laughs awkwardly, then gives a small embarrassed wave toward the camera. Crowd reactions remain subtle and natural. English commentator: “There we go! She survived the fan cam.” Second 10 The camera slightly shakes as if the live-TV operator is adjusting the shot while staying locked onto her awkward expression. Korean LIVE broadcast overlays remain visible. The moment feels spontaneous, candid, and completely authentic like a rea

For the second year in a row, fate has prevented my children from being included on the school's list of successful students... not because they didn't work hard, but because the aggression prevented them from experiencing a moment of joy due to the circumstances. But in my heart, they are successful... they have passed a test greater than any other exam. They persevered when the world became narrow, they stood firm when safety around them crumbled, and they held on to their dignity in the midst of the storm... and they continue to do so.. These are my kids, my pride and joy... they succeeded in life, when success itself was absent... Dear friends, yesterday the news was positive, but unfortunately today the news is disappointing. Unfortunately, they resumed the bombing tonight and made up for what they missed during the day yesterday. Unfortunately, all the aid trucks were looted and are being sold on the black market at ridiculous prices. Half of the humiliating airdrops they dropped were dropped in areas under army control, and everyone who went there was killed.. I don't know how long this hell will last.. My children or any child is not supposed to go through this.. How harsh this life is.. It made us endure circumstances greater than our ages.. Gaza is experiencing horrific levels of famine, and the population cannot be controlled by allowing a few trucks in... "Starvation, killing, crushing, and humiliation are being declared, with children being burned before the eyes of the world, and a people being exterminated on live television. " We will not forget, we will not forgive, we will not pardon... We say it without shame or embarrassment, we say it with pride and dignity, we say it in a clear and audible voice: "We are hungry.".. Dear friends, we have reached unprecedented levels of despair. I have 25 cats and I am doing everything I can to keep them alive. As you can see in the video below, we crumble bread, moisten it with water, and mix it with beef to keep the beef going for as long as possible. The problem now is that flour is very expensive, beef has become expensive, and everything is expensive. Your support is what has helped me, my family, and the cats who survived the past two years to survive... I appreciate your support and I am very grateful to you. Every bit helps me overcome the famine... The famine has exhausted us. Speak up for us. We need you. Be a voice for justice and humanity. I literally want you to take a serious stand. I want you to share this tweet and make my voice heard throughout the world so everyone can see what is happening to us. Gaza is experiencing a terrible famine. #GazaForcedFamine #GazaUnderAttack #GazaNeedsBread #GazaGenocide #GazaStarving #Gaza_is_dying_of_starvation #Gaza_is_dying_of_hunger #GazaUnderAttack

"When I adopted Ash, they warned me he might never really come out of his shell. He was a retired racing greyhound, just four years old, and he flinched at everything. A slammed door, footsteps behind him, even my hand if I reached too quickly. For weeks he spent most of his time standing quietly in the corner of my kitchen with his tail tucked, watching me like he was waiting for the moment I'd give up on him too. I live alone, and I'll admit there were nights when I wondered if I'd taken on more than I could handle. How do you convince a dog that the bad part of his life is finally over? I never tried to rush him. I'd sit on the floor, talk softly, and let him decide when he was ready. After about a month he stopped hiding in the corner and started sleeping on the dog bed. A few weeks later he'd lean against my leg while I made coffee, just for a second before walking away again. The moment I'll never forget happened at my brother's farm. I had Ash on a long lead in the middle of an empty hay field, letting him explore at his own pace. Then the lead dropped away. Ash froze for a long second. He simply stood there, staring across the open field as if he couldn't remember what freedom was supposed to feel like. Then something changed. He exploded into a run. Not away from me, but around me, tearing across the field in huge looping circles with his ears pinned back and that long skinny body stretched out exactly the way greyhounds were born to move. He looked like a dog rediscovering a part of himself that had been buried for years. I just stood there laughing while he kept circling me, faster and faster, kicking up dry hay with every stride. For the first time since I'd brought him home, he looked completely fearless. It felt like I was watching him become himself again. By the time he slowed down, his tongue was hanging out and his chest was rising and falling. He trotted straight back, leaned against my legs, and looked up at me with the calmest expression I'd ever seen on his face. I knew right then that he trusted me. Ash is still the shy dog at the park, and strangers can still make him nervous. But give him an open field, and for a few beautiful minutes, he remembers exactly who he was always meant to be. Have you ever watched a rescue dog finally remember what it feels like to be free?

Before, I saw Sana and Jihyo looking tired and even massaging their legs. But today, it is heartbreaking and painfully obvious that Sana is not okay at all. This is so painful to watch, and it has seriously gone too far seeing them in such poor condition. I don’t care if people disagree with my tweet. I cannot stay silent anymore. Watching the members suffer one by one like this is breaking my heart, and JYP’s handling of their health is deeply disappointing. I am especially disappointed in JYP. In my opinion, JYP made a huge mistake when Dahyun was sick. They did not even take her to the doctor for an X-ray. Dahyun had to endure the pain for almost a month and still perform. Even in Incheon, she had to walk to the parking lot while limping, without any ankle support or a wheelchair. Before that, Jeongyeon and Chaeyoung were sick and had to miss the tour. We even had to watch Jihyo perform while she was sick, sitting on a chair on stage. That was painful to see. Then Mina had to be absent today because of health issues, and now we can clearly see that Sana is also not in good condition. Watching this happen again and again is exhausting and heartbreaking. How many times do we have to see the members suffer before their health is truly taken seriously? I know concerts and schedules are decided together by the members and the agency. But why does it feel like the girls’ health is always the last thing being considered? Can’t the agency do better and put their health first, just once? The girls are the kind of idols who truly love meeting fans. They will keep showing up even when they are unwell, as long as they can still stand. That is exactly what scares me the most. That is why JYP must take better care of them. Please, I’m begging make the girls’ health the top priority above anything else. On the second day of recruiting myths… Myth #2: “The name on the front of your jersey doesn’t matter.” There is some truth here. But people usually say this to make you feel better if you’re not on a team in the “recruiting bubble.” And yes of course there are always outliers. If you’re Montana Fouts, you could show up playing for the Butterflies and coaches would still be lined up drooling at the fence. But for most of us? The jersey does matter. Especially if you don’t have true 5-star size or can’t blow people away with elite metrics. I know this because I’ve been on both sides of it. Same player. Same work ethic. Completely different response from coaches. Why does the jersey matter more than people admit? First impressions. If a coach doesn’t recognize your club as one that consistently produces players at their level, you have to overwhelm them with performance and numbers just to get the same look. What matters even more than the jersey name is the coach attached to it. My last club, Rising, was brand new. But my coach, Steve Appel, had a lot of successful former players at top 25 programs. Coaches knew him. Trusted him. We were at the best fields and no one cared what was on the front of our jerseys. At my first tournament with that team, I saw more college coaches than I had in my entire recruiting journey before that. It’s true. College coaches aren’t recruiting a jersey. They’re recruiting you. But your jersey affects: •what fields you play on •who stops to watch •how risky you look on paper A well-known club with proven coaches comes with built-in credibility. Can you get recruited without that? Yes. I did. But if you’ve read my book, you know how many things had to line up for that to happen. So is there truth to this myth? Yes. But most of the time, when people say it, they’re trying to protect you from a harder truth: Recruiting isn’t just about how good you are. It’s also about who’s willing to vouch for you. And your jersey is a powerful indicator of that before a coach sees you even pick up a ball. #RecruitingRules Rule #6: The lifeblood of recruiting is relationships. And whether you like it or not, the front of your jersey is part of that. Photo Caption: Top image my OG team, AZ Steel after winning the Colorado Sparkler Supplemental Power Pool. Bottom image with steve appel after winning PGF Nationals. My original team eventually made it into the “recruiting bubble” the summer after I committed. We were a solid competitive team at the national club level, but having played for both, no one will ever convince me that my recruiting opportunities would have been the same regardless of which jersey I was wearing. Completely different worlds. I wouldn’t change my path. I ended up exactly where I always dreamed to be, and my path made me who I am, but in my case believing this myth for so long cost me time and my family money.

If UP, Bihar and Maharashtra all have BJP Chief Ministers today, then WHY is inter-BJP coordination on something this basic so low? You cannot talk about one India and then make someone’s ability to work in another Indian state depend on whether they speak the regional language well enough. Despite all the claims of huge investment and job creation in UP, so many people from UP and Bihar still have to leave home and go all the way to Mumbai to drive autos and taxis. They work endless hours, live in tiny shared rooms, sometimes 8 to 10 people together, just to send some money home. It hurts my heart seeing their livelihood depend on whether they know Marathi well enough. They are stopped, tested, made to attend roadside Marathi classes, issued notices, heavily fined, harassed, and there have even been cases of drivers being assaulted over language. Why does this burden fall only on the auto and taxi drivers? On the men who cannot afford to lose even one day’s earning? Of course Maharashtra has every right to protect and promote Marathi. But there has to be a better way than making poor migrant workers feel like outsiders in their own country. And this also affects how people from UP and Bihar feel about their own languages. Awadhi, Braj, Bhojpuri, Maithili, Magahi etc. I want our people to carry these with pride too. Regional languages should be a matter of pride, not a barrier to someone earning his living. The bigger question is not language, it is governance. When these three states are politically aligned under the BJP/NDA, why is the coordination still so weak? BJP Yogi Adityanath Devendra Fadnavis Samrat Choudhary please work on this our people deserve some dignity.
