So A16Z GAMES speedrun is in the books. It has been quite a ride for Avataros (story below) but since most won't read that far, huge shout out to our cohort lead Troy Kirwin for just being awesome, and andrew chen and the whole A16Z GAMES team for a truly excellent program. In August of last year we got accepted to Speedrun 2 in SF. My wife and I were expecting our 3rd child and we realized the little guy would be due to pop during the program. This was such an amazing opportunity that we moved heaven and earth to make it happen (shout out to the most amazing wife and mom in the world Meron Bratzel). But as things go, the day before I was set to get on a plane to San Francisco, I got a call from my wife. She was at a check-up with her OB. We were still more than 5 weeks away from the due date but they were going to keep her at the hospital indefinitely. I got to the hospital, spoke with my wife and the doctors, and then when I had a minute I called Troy and told him the situation. The A16Z Team got back to me nearly instantly and told me not to give it a second thought - come to Speedrun 3 instead. Little RoRo was born just a few days later, and he and his Mama were both in perfect health. And it turned out Speedrun 3 was held in my own backyard of LA at the new A16Z office, making it much more convenient for us with a newborn. Having this come full circle, with such an amazing response and result on all fronts is truly remarkable, and I'm so appreciative of everyone that has supported us along the way.

This was a great take on THE EMAIL by Will Lyster! It’s not about the five things you did last week. It’s about the CC: line. This email request is a goldmine of passive intelligence for DOGE if Artificial Intelligence (AI) is applied correctly – and I assume it will be used. The simplicity of the request hides its potential to map power structures, detect inefficiencies, and monitor alignment with departmental organizational goals. It’s subtle but highly effective. This email isn’t just a status update request – it could serve as a passive tool for mapping out the entire organizational hierarchy and monitoring department productivity trends. Here’s an analysis of what’s at play: 1️⃣ Mapping the Real Organizational Hierarchy Since employees are required to CC their manager, AI can construct a hierarchical tree of the organization. Over time, patterns will reveal who reports to whom—even if the actual reporting structure differs from official documentation. Employees who CC multiple people may indicate dual reporting relationships or a matrix-style management structure. AI can detect ghost managers—people listed as managers on paper but who never actually receive reports. 2️⃣ Identifying Shadow Organizations and Unofficial Leaders If employees frequently CC an individual who is not their formal manager, that person may be an unofficial decision-maker wielding real authority. AI can compare the formal org chart with actual CC behavior to expose hidden chains of command. If certain employees omit their assigned manager but CC someone else consistently, it suggests a parallel leadership structure. Analyzing who is involved in cross-departmental CC patterns can reveal unofficial networks operating outside the documented hierarchy. A small group of employees who frequently CC each other but bypass leadership could be part of an off-the-books working group. 3️⃣ Identifying Off-the-Books Projects & Rogue Teams If multiple employees across different teams report similar but undocumented tasks, it may indicate a hidden initiative. AI can flag projects that don’t align with department goals or initiatives that bypass formal approval channels. Employees who appear in CC lines across unrelated departments may be acting as covert coordinators of unofficial work. If responses suggest employees are working on tasks that don’t match their job description, AI could highlight task drift or unapproved operations. 4️⃣ Spotting Coordinated Efforts to Subvert Leadership If a department’s responses show copy-paste similarities, AI can flag it as a coordinated effort to manipulate perception. Employees who subtly reframe their language to match an unofficial leader’s priorities might be signaling alignment with a shadow authority. If employees frequently CC an intermediary before their official manager, that person may be a gatekeeper controlling information flow. A group of employees who never CC their actual leadership but consistently CC a different person may be part of a separate power structure. 5️⃣ Evaluating Managerial Oversight & Engagement AI can track which managers receive high or low CC volume to determine workload distribution: - Managers receiving too many CCs may be overloaded. - Managers with too few CCs may be ineffective, disengaged, or bypassed. If certain teams consistently fail to CC their manager, it could indicate a lack of engagement or an informal leadership takeover. - If a manager never follows up on reports, AI can flag them as a passive or ineffective leader.

The sadistic arm of Project MKULTRA known as "Project MONARCH." This has it all, mind control, Satanic rituals, Hollywood, and military espionage. Project MKUltra was a real, clandestine CIA program running from 1953 to 1973, designed to explore mind control techniques amid Cold War fears of Soviet brainwashing. It involved over 150 subprojects, experimenting on unwitting subjects—including U.S. and Canadian citizens, prisoners, mental patients, and soldiers—with LSD, hypnosis, electroshock therapy, sensory deprivation, and various forms of psychological and physical abuse. Admitted experiments left some people unable to walk again, not able to hold their bladder, some even lost 30 to 40 years worth of memories after being a victim and unknowingly participant to the MKULTRA projects done on the public. The goal? To develop truth serums, induce amnesia, create programmable assassins, and manipulate behavior for interrogation or espionage. Coordinated with the U.S. Army's Biological Warfare Laboratories, it drew from earlier efforts like Project Artichoke, which focused on drug-induced assassinations and incorporated Nazi scientists via Operation Paperclip. Military intelligence ties were deep: experiments aimed at enhancing spy capabilities, with links to programs like MKDELTA for field interrogations and MKSEARCH for advanced drug testing. Most records were destroyed in 1973, but declassified documents reveal deaths, like CIA scientist Frank Olson, who was dosed with LSD and later died under suspicious circumstances. Enter Project Monarch/Artichoke, described as a shadowy MKUltra offshoot specializing in "trauma-based mind control." Unlike MKUltra's documented drug focus, Monarch allegedly used extreme torture—sexual abuse, electroshocks, and ritualistic horrors—to fracture victims' psyches, creating dissociative identity disorder (DID) with "alters" that could be programmed for specific tasks like espionage or assassination. Proponents, including authors like Fritz Springmeier and alleged survivor Cathy O'Brien, claim it targeted children, turning them into "Monarch slaves" for elite control. This is also where the child trafficking elite come into play and the epidemic we face today in general. This needs an entire video itself to describe the depth of this epidemic and it's connections to the elite, Satanic cults, and mind control operations. Cathy O'Brien's 1995 book Trance Formation of America details her experiences of childhood abuse leading to CIA programming, involvement in international pedophile rings, and abuse by figures in politics and entertainment. Almost all of the official MKUltra records were destroyed for obvious reasons. The Satanic Ritual Abuse (SRA) link amplifies these claims. Researchers assert Monarch incorporated SRA—organized cults performing child sacrifice, sexual torture, and demonic rituals—to instill unbreakable programming. This ties into the 1980s-1990s "Satanic Panic," a moral hysteria fueled by books like Michelle Remembers, where thousands alleged widespread Satanic cults abusing children in daycares and homes. But was it really a panic, or was these a way to cover up what was really going on behind the scenes, and with akll the evidence and claims that have came out since then, it looks like there was a lot more going on then they admit. Connections to MKUltra emerged through numerous whistleblowers who exposed the CIA mind control with satanism ties through elite satanic abuse and military connections. Historians and psychologists debunk it as a baseless panic, with no forensic evidence of organized Satanic networks. But now we know that these claims are true and operations are still taking place to this day and it runs up to some of the most wealthy elites and bloodlines in the world. Hollywood's alleged role adds a glamorous twist. Many celebrity "breakdowns"—Britney Spears' 2007 head-shaving, Kanye West's rants, or viral "glitches" in interviews—as signs of Monarch programming failures. They claim the entertainment industry uses MKUltra-derived techniques to control stars for propaganda, with music videos (e.g., butterfly symbolism for Monarch) embedding triggers. While MKUltra did experiment on civilians, they will NEVER admit to Hollywood connections or elite Satanic ties. Military spy connections with MKULTRA are nothing new. MKUltra's experiments often involved soldiers as test subjects, aiming to create "Manchurian Candidates"—brainwashed agents activated on command. Ties to intelligence included collaborations with the Army and Navy, with programs like Subproject 54 exploring concussion-induced amnesia for covert ops. Many claim this extends to Monarch for elite spies, but everything is still classified or destroyed that would prove these ties with others showing ethical horrors without the satanic flair. Why would they ever tell you the truth? MKUltra's abuses are historical fact, Project Monarch and its SRA-Hollywood-military web largely stem from ex-military, elites, and victims themselves, but with more info coming out by the day, and how much we've been lied to over the years, there is NO DOUBT that this is information is completely believable. Electronically, wirelessly, remotely, controlled, A.I. incorporated mind control is the new reality of MKULTRA and mind control... This is the new threat that we face.

THE OCCULT ROOTS, ELITE, INTELLIGENCE AGENCIES and INSTITUTIONS PLAN to ALTER MAN & CONTROL SOCIETY. It was all engineered. From symbolism, to intelligence agencies Mk Ultra programs, to transhumanism, and transgenderism, and where the elite get their pedophi*e beliefs from. This is going to explain the foundation and plan for society and layout a huge piece of the puzzle to help you understand where it all came from and how it started. Many of these occult rooted wealthy socialists knew exactly how they were going to literally bring in their New World Order before most of the methods or techniques even existed, and the crazy part is that it's happening today, exactly like they said it was. The last part of their plan, before it is complete was the sexual revolution, and what do we see happening all around us today with transgenderism, transhumanism, and pedophil*a with children? The plan was to revolutionize Western civilization through counterculture, and a sexual revolution to make the West more amenable to a future of socialist technocracy. They knew if they wanted to win they had to play the long game. These people were thinking generations ahead. This is called the Fabian Society model-the slow burn of implemented ideas to transform society. Their symbol is a literal wolf in sheep's clothing/skin. The Fabian Socialist Technocrats talked about this in the 1920s & 1930s. Like Bertrand Russel, a British philosopher who was one of the very first people who openly lived in a pan/poly relationship before anyone else, who basically helped plan the sexual revolution as well as many others. Herbert George Wells (H.G. Wells), the father of science fiction also wrote a bunch of mainline geopolitical books like "The Open Conspiracy," and "The New World Order." In these books he describes how they would revolutionize Western civilization through counterculture and sexual revolution to a socialist technocracy. These books were literally telling you their plans. The concept of technocracy has roots in ancient ideas like Plato's philosopher kings, and it gained traction during the Industrial Revolution and the Great Depression. Technocracy emphasizes the use of technical expertise in decision making often prioritizing scientific evidence and data over political considerations or public opinion. Sounds good in some aspects but it doesn't work overall. So, as counterculture, this sexual revolution, and darker occult practices, like Satanism and Paganism, etc., started to rise up, elites and governments started to catch on to these beliefs and practices and big money went into funding the creation of some institutions, non-profits and other programs along with projects in intelligence agencies in the U.S. and others. This overall takeover of the West and society was both calculated and non-intentional in a way. But from big names involved, The Esalen Institute was born. A non-profit in Big Sur, California that focuses on humanistic alternative education. The Institute played a key role in the Human Potential Movement beginning in the 1960s. The Esalen Institute was founded by Michael Murphy and Dick Price in 1962. It is basically the "think tank" of counterculture and the sexual revolution, promoted by very wealthy and influential people. Their intention was to support alternative methods for exploring human conscientiousness, promoting that everything is divine. One major thing you must understand that the roots of many of the people in Esalen were all into Satanic occult type belief systems and paganistic practices, like from the teachings of Anton LaVey and Aliester Crowley, who both were heavily involved in Satanism and also into pedophil*a and transhumanistic beliefs. Crowley was also a part of British Intelligence/MI5, and heavy into altering the mind with drugs and substances to make contact and change conscientiousness and to be like their own god. Other notable figures of Esalen was Timothy Leary, a psychologist who is also known for his advocacy of psychedelic experiences, a prominent figure of the counterculture movement and heavily into Aliester Crowley's sex revolution beliefs. All these sexual beliefs are associated transhumanism, transgenderism, and pedophil*a. Which is no coincidence why you see the heavy push for this on our society and on our children today. Another very prominent name and usual suspect is David Rockefeller who heavily promoted and funded the Esalen Institution and any others like it and donated millions of dollars to them every single year from the 1970s to around 2004. Rockefeller wasn't the only one and this is just one piece of this overall plan to destroy the West and society itself to bring in this new world. Let's move on. Now we will connect how Mk-Ultra was literally beyond the WW2 German connection and operation paperclip and set up from an arm of these foundations and writings of some of these people who laid the ground work and sparked these ideas into a reality, to be used on Western society and to literally alter man's mind and his actual physical appearance. Bring in the green agenda and convince man that man is the problem. A White Paper was written in the 1970s called, "Changing the Images of Man," put out by the Tavistock Institution. In this key paper they talked about reengineering all of Western civilization's thoughts. Not just about the environment, but also about man himself. The Tavistock Institution of human relations is a British non-profit reaserch and consulting organization, specialising in the study of group behavior. They also have sister companies in China and Germany, and it was established in 1947. They explained about how they needed to convince man that man is the problem. This is exactly where all of your counterculture, sexual revolution, depopulation, antinatalist, transgenderism, transhumanism, pedophil*a, etc., beliefs stem from. You are the problem but you can change yourself. Feb 4, 1932, A Brave New World, and then, A Brave New World Revisited was written. Huxley wrote that this is not fiction, this is a plan of things to come. The 2nd chapter is literally all about child sexual abuse material. This is where all this stuff came about and into our society. Huxley heavily believed in Aliester Crowley's belief systems and partied with Crowley, even attending orgies together. Huxley took Crowley's book, "The Drug Diaries to a government study level in a sense. Which was originally what Crowley was working with to contact entities and perform ritualistic ceremonies and involved with sexual activities with children. Tavistock was basically the British Mk Ultra from the studies originally from Aliester who was also a British intelligence agent with MI5. These drug studies and mind control studies at Tavistock led to the idea that you can engineer and change a human being, not just in his mind, but an entire change of physiology and biology of a person. Hence Transgenderism and Transhumanism, etc. Like how they're literally giving kids drugs and surgeries to "change" their genders today. In 1969 Dr. Holger Hyden who worked on mind control through drugs and medication, etc., was invited to a mind control conference in San Francisco that the Rockefellers sponsored by the CIA's, "Voice of America. Dr. Hyden's papers were about drugs and chemicals actually changing gender in men and women in the future. And look where we are now. The CIA made alliances with the French post modernists and deconstructionists who were a part of Congress for Cultural Freedom. The CIA also had and still does have members who studied and agreed with these same belief systems and started to study mind control after Huxley's brave new world which sparked their interest because of Crowley's actual experimentation actually using drugs to alter conscientiousness and for control or engineering one's mind and the results and studies from the Tavistock and their research. Which all stems back to his Satanic and sexual beliefs. Now we examine the CIA Mk Ultra with Hollywood and it's Mk Ultra program to induce, steer, and mold behavior throughout the population through, sex, drugs, and rock and roll. This was all apart of the mind control program on a grand scale relating to propaganda and drugs. Most A-list celebrities back then were also working or were active intelligence agents who also had DoD badges including Marylyn Monroe, to access the famous Air force location named Laurel Canyon where many operations stemmed from when it came to manipulating the public with music, t.v. and with any other type of influence. Many were recruited to do spy work for intelligence agencies. This was basically them working out their big plan, their agenda, which still happens today with the huge push with the occult and Satanic worship, sexual deviancy, transgenderism, transhumanism, you name it. They even have after school Satan groups in schools for kids starting as young as in kindergarten. This is also why you see the gigantic push for pedophil*a and trying to be able to give children consent and be sexualized, while horrific laws are being passed to reduce penalties for child predators. This is the type of "Brave New World" they want. The last step before bringing in their New World is the sexual revolution aspect which includes transgenderism, pedophil*a, transhumanism, Satanism, the green agenda, and depopulation. But the sexual revolution is the most important and last step. The fall of Rome also occurred when this type of sexual activity occurred as well. Something to really take into consideration and compare it to where we are now. Every single one of these ideologies and beliefs all stem from these wealthy elite individuals, institutions and belief systems that they all planned decades ago and it's literally happening right in front of us. There is so much more to this but this gives you an introduction or a starting point to connect the dots of where it all came from during the past century, which directly is impacting our lives and society. They are now experiencing heavy pushback. We're onto them and their ultimate plan. They gave us the roadmap. It's up to you to understand it and up to all of us to stop it.

💥 LAP Alert 💥 "I did this sort of spy thing where I changed hotel rooms and I changed taxis. I was making sure I wasn’t followed." ~Knapp Is Lacatski Lying to Us About the Craft and Breaching the Hull? ~ "If not for that [2017 NYT] story about AATIP and the problems that [Lacatski] saw with it, he would never have mentioned [AAWSAP]...I don't think, ever." ~Knapp (So, in other words...thank you from the UFO community, to the NYT, for getting it wrong? 🙂) ~ Jeremy Kenyon Lockyer Corbell: "Should we listen to Dr. James Lacatski on UFOs, on the fact, or the idea, that our government has at least one, he's admitted, and we breached the hull? Should we listen to him, George?" George Knapp: "I know a lot of people have noticed that he's talked about his role in counterintelligence as part of the AAWSAP program. And because they equate counterintelligence with lies, false info., cover stories, misdirection. Aha! He's putting out a bunch of false info. a decade after he retired from government service." (I saw one person suggest that, and I thought it was a questionable take...) Grant Lavac: "Given that Dr. James Lacatski was the 'counterintelligence coordinator' for AAWSAP, how much confidence can we invest in the veracity of his public statements that 'at least one recovered craft of unknown origin, a flying machine with no wings, no engine, no fuel, and no fuel tanks' is in the possession of the US government and that they had 'breached the hull' of the UFO? In the context of the counterintelligence value of UAP/UFO, his comments in this most recent interview on WEAPONIZED (edited for brevity) only raise more questions for me." ~~~ Knapp: "A, it's not [Lacatski]. He's not out there beating the bushes. He's talked to us, but that's pretty much it. He's telling the full story as much as he can in a series of books. And I was co-author on two of those, not on this one. And, you know, I remember the first time I met him, it was in 2018." ~ (In April of 2019, Knapp shared that story, minus Lacatski's name, at UFO MegaCon. Knapp in 2019: "I thought today I would share with you, sort of the informational foundation that I’ve acquired. So, one year ago, I made this trip to Washington, D.C. at the invitation of Senator Harry Reid. It was St. Patrick’s Day, 2018 and I already knew a little bit about AATIP and AAWSAP and what they’ve been studying and where the money came from and how the program was created. I did this sort of spy thing where I changed hotel rooms and I changed taxis. I was making sure I wasn’t followed. And if there was ever actually, anybody following me, they must have thought I looked ridiculous because it was way over the top. "But I ended up having to meet with Senator Reid and some other people who were directly involved in these programs and they gave me a download. And I thought I knew a lot about these programs when I went there and realized that I only knew a little tiny bit. The purpose of this was to learn about these programs. We all know about AATIP, but in reality, there was something before that. "I sat down for a couple of hours with Senator Reid and other people whose names, they don’t want to be known. They brought me up to speed on how AATIP was created. How its predecessor was under way for a number of years. It coexisted for a long time. People in this room. People who investigate this topic may have suspected for a long time that there was some kind of a program that still existed. We’ve all heard that Project Bluebook was the end. 1969 it ended and the government was done with UFOs. They closed up shop. And the reason they closed it down is because there was no evidence that it involved national security. "And we all knew that was baloney because of the stories that we’ve seen that are really well documented. For example, UFOs over nuclear missile bases. UFO encounters with the military installations and atomic facilities. Things of that sort the have been well documented over the years. There are cases that involved national security. So at the end of Blue Book, of course, this memo said, alright, any cases involving national security will continue to be investigated in the regular way. Well, what the heck was the regular way? We didn’t know. Well now we do know. At least a little bit of it." (Project Blue Book was shut down in December of 1969, but a few months earlier, in October, we had the Bolender memo, which noted that "reports of UFOs which could affect national security should continue to be handled through the standard Air Force procedure designed for this purpose." What standard Air Force procedure? The regular way? Where did those cases go? We still don't know what Bolender was referring to in that memo.) ~ Knapp in 2019: "And one of the regular ways was this program called AATIP. So I went on this trip. [and] I learned this stuff about AATIP. I had known a lot about it before but I got this briefing about this alphabet soup of different programs, how they began and what they studied. December 2017, the New York Times breaks this story about AATIP. Now, I had known about it for a long time because I lived in Las Vegas. I knew Bob Bigelow. I knew Harry Reid. We’d talk about UFO stuff and what was going on. "So when I was told the New York Times was gonna break the story, I’m kind ticked off about it. Because hey, I’ve been sitting on this for a long time. Why don’t I get to break the story? And they had to, one after another, gently remind me, 'You know. You’re not the New York Times.' Which I had to admit! It was true. And if I had done the story, the Times had said that they weren’t going to do it if somebody else breaks it. So, if I had done it, it’d be another story from a UFO reporter. "The New York Times did it and they changed everything. Because they did it, wider organizations did it. Some of them took shots at the New York Times because The Times got the story and they didn’t. But that story was accurate, to a degree. But the story that it told was not the full story. AATIP, that we know about…the AATIP that studies nuts and bolts saucers…case of UFOs that have encounters with military units such as the USS Nimitz, that is studied by a group of people, Lue Elizondo was the head of it. "It’s not so much a program as it was a loose network of intelligence officials in different agencies, including the Air Force and the Navy, CIA, DIA, DARPA…there might be a couple of other agencies. But a case would come in from any one of their units [and] it would be shared with this group of people, analysis would be done, evidence would be looked at and then stashed in a draw and nobody ever sees it. It’s not passed up the chain of command. "In 2007, that changed. One of the guys (Lacatski. ~Joe 2025) I met with in this meeting in Washington is the one who changed it. He had been in the same position that Lue Elizondo had been in. And his name is just not out there. He grew frustrated with what was happening with the phenomenon and he suspected that UFOs flying around the sky, buzzing our military units every once in a while, is not the full story. Even if you could solve that part of the mystery it wouldn’t solve the bigger part of the picture. "So he grew interested in Skinwalker Ranch and he had read the (Knapp/Kelleher – 'Hunt For The Skinwalker') book. And after he read it, he called up Bob Bigelow and said…actually, he wrote him a letter and said, 'Hey, can I go to the ranch…go look around? I’m with the DIA.' Bigelow says, 'Come on out to Las Vegas and I’ll take you there.' And that’s what happened. He flew to Las Vegas. They flew on Bigelow’s jet. They went to the ranch. "This guy’s not there fifteen minutes and he has an experience. And I’m not gonna go into detail. I’m hoping that he’s going to maybe come forward at some point and describe his experience. But it was just for him. Of all the people in this room, in the encounter, he was the only one who could see it. He’s the only one who had an angle on this thing that appeared. And he’s pretending that he’s not seeing it but it’s right out of the corner of his eye. And he doesn’t say anything until he leaves the ranch. And he gets off and he asks Bigelow if he had seen it. And he had not. The other people who had been in the room had not seen it. "He flies back to Las Vegas, goes back to Washington, D.C. and looks up Harry Reid and tells him about it. Now Reid had some experience in these matters that I’ll get into in a little bit. But as a result of that conversation, Reid, who had an interest in UFOs and had maintained that interest over many years – and I can attest to that personally – called in a couple of his friends in the Senate – Daniel Inouye and Ted Stevens. They had a conversation in a secure room and they decided to provide some funding for a much broader study. Something that looked at…beyond flying saucers, that looked at other paranormal aspects…supernatural aspects that we would not normally associate with aliens or ETs. Assuming that that’s what this is, which I’m not sure anyone knows for sure. And that is how AAWSAP was born. The Advanced Aerospace Weapon System Applications Program." ~~~ Knapp Yesterday: "The only reason [Lacatski] came forward, he was ticked off about how AATIP had been described in major media reports, and no mention had been given to the actual, real program. That one that had a $22 million budget, lasted 27 months, and which put together the biggest UFO data warehouse in history, that had written all these papers that still have not been released." (In the most-recent interview (Part 1) with Weaponized, Lacatski let it fly with his issues related to the 2017 NYT article: "The initial reporting...by the New York Times story in 2017 was totally inaccurate. Contrary to what some people claim, the authors knew my name and position at AAWSAP, yet never attempted to contact me. Likewise, the The Washington Post. POLITICO (laughs) contacted me within hours after the articles were published in the free publications, asking for my opinion. They knew my name, they had my phone number. Why didn't they contact me [beforehand]?" ~Dr. James Lacatski on Weaponized ~ Knapp: "So, Jim was a counterintelligence guy for AAWSAP, but in this role. He wasn't putting out cover stories or lies, he didn't put out anything. The world didn't hear that AAWSAP existed until years later, at least by that name. There was one statement made to the press about that program. It was by Robert Bigelow, whose company, BAASS, got the contract. A week after he signed it, he came on with me on Coast to Coast AM and said, 'We got this program dealing with UFOs, we have an unnamed partner, and we're excited to get going.' That was it. "Jim Lacatski wasn't putting out PR releases about AAWSAP. There was nothing. That was the last thing anybody said until the New York Times did the AATIP story, and then Jim Lacatski felt the real story was being covered up. If not for that story about AATIP and the problems that he saw with it, he would never have mentioned this. I don't think ever." (Well, then, thank you to the NYT journalists and editors for pissing off Lacatski!) Knapp: "You'll recall, AAWSAP, at the time that things went downhill, that the funding was moved away, they were trying to make it into a SAP, a Special Access Program. And if it had happened, we probably would never have heard of it. If it had happened, Lue Elizondo would have been the counterintelligence guy for AAWSAP, that he had already talked to Lacatski. "But Lacatski is not proclaiming the greatness of the program. He's not out there beating the bushes on podcasts and newscasts, other than with us, and he never put out in counterintelligence. His role, counterintelligence, meant something different for AAWSAP. The thing that DIA had told him was, 'Look, you know, it's not a rogue program. I know it gets weird into some of the phenomena that was at Skinwalker Ranch and other places. We don't care. Here's what we care about: Don't let the secret out. We don't want to see this on the front page of the Washington Post. We want it kept secret.' (John Greenewald was one person questioning whether AAWSAP was actually a prosaic program and Lacatski just decided to go rogue with a foray into UFOs and the paranormal.) Greenewald Tweet: "Did the U.S. government really sanction this, and if so, is this really how it was run? Or was this a rogue operation by a select few on the inside playing with Uncle Sam's coffers?" (Greenewald was quote tweeting a Greenstreet hit-piece video on AAWSAP. In his interview on Weaponized aired over the past few weeks, Lacatski said that former Deputy Director of AARO, Tim Phillips, also used the "rogue" word when describing AAWSAP. Did DIA really not know what AAWSAP was about? Did Lacatski go rogue and turn a program that was supposed to look at prosaic, advanced technology into one that studied UFOs and the paranormal? Here's an exchange from the 2023 interview Knapp and Corbell did with Lacatski and Colm Kelleher.) Kelleher: "The critical part of AAWSAP that we tried to convey in 'Skinwalkers at the Pentagon,' was that there were two fundamental, parallel tracks that AAWSAP ran on. The first one was the examination of UFO performance. And, you know, the UFO performance part was getting all of the data from eyewitnesses, plus deploying sensors into the field, in order to gather data on the performance of UFOs. That was track number one. And track number two was: What effects do UFOs have on humans? That was a parallel track that, from the get go, AAWSAP decided, unambiguously, to run both tracks in parallel. We documented psychological effects, and then we also documented paranormal effects." Lacatski: "Anything can be said on the internet it seems, factual or not. Well, one thing that is not factual is, DIA knew what it was getting into in regard to both aspects that Colm just described to you. And let me end my statement right here. We had no choice but to pursue both aspects." (That was a poor way of him saying: The claim that DIA was unaware of AAWSAP looking into all aspects of UFOs, including the paranormal, is NOT true.) Lacatski: "I want to emphasize something I said on my first and only interview. It was a closed program. It operated very similar to a SAP. The director, the director of analysis, and my office chief...and, of course, division chief, knew about this program. No one else did. Now, I was also protected by the stovepipe nature of that. I did not have to address political-type questions. I was insulated, but they were, too. There was no one else. People in the surrounding cubicles didn't know. Nothing was purposely being hid. It was a closed, stovepipe system, and it needed to be. It needed to be operated that way." ~~~ Knapp: "And so, Jim Lacatski took it on himself, put it in his own hands. He and Colm Kelleher interviewed all these people who applied for the jobs, the 50 full-time positions that they staffed, in a matter of months. They did background checks, they required security clearances for all those people, and they were worried about leaks. They didn't want information to get out. "They also were concerned about espionage by foreign players, by foreign companies, things of that sort. And some of that really did happen. As Jim has shared with us, there were a couple of phones that were transmitters that were found inside Bigelow Aerospace, inside the Bigelow, uh, facilities, and it was very alarming because they weren't sure who was doing it. I think they think it was a foreign government. I'm not going to say which one, uh, they suspected the most." (Lacatski said that the phones in question were made in China.) Knapp: "But, and then they also found weird frequencies emanating from Skinwalker Ranch. That's not strange, and there's a lot of unusual stuff that happens there, but it was some sort of a an espionage program that they believed was was not only looking at the ranch, but also at BAASS. "That was his primary concern. He was worried that the story gets out, because secrecy was of paramount interest to the heads of DIA and he's worried about the information getting out to the public. Because once it happened, then the knives come out in the Pentagon and within the intelligence community, which is kind of what happened. A memo was sent from Harry Reid's office, let other people know that AAWSAP existed, and that's when things started getting problematic." Corbell: "The bugging thing. So, it's not just like Bigelow Aerospace was tapped with something, he said, specifically, AAWSAP, right? So they were looking at that new UFO program. And I don't know how public this is, but he did say it was - not just him, other people have all said - it was multiple nations, multiple, different devices from those phones. And he also said that they worked with FBI, they had FBI liaisons looking at the ranch property, and also at Bigelow Aerospace. "Because, remember, they were supposed to receive a transfer of materials. That's why they reverse, reverse engineered (laughs), you know, they built everything to be able to hold SCIF-capable and material-capable property at that classification level. So, look, I think if we pull it back, the whole idea is, James Lacatski made a statement at some point that he was, you know, head of, or part of, or running the counterintelligence for AAWSAP. But his point was to keep AAWSAP itself secret from foreign nations. So then he has to keep it secret from the U.S. He did it. He did a great job. They actually kept it secret. That doesn't mean he's going out and creating false information to the public like he's been accused of. "So, should we listen to Jim Lacatski? That was like, you know, the main question. Oh, one second. He also identified that there is currently a counter-programming, counterintelligence operation going on to the American public, but not against the American public, by AARO." (In other words, spread misinformation to the American public so they can advance their goal of misinforming and confusing our adversaries who are always listening. National security! IMO, that's only acceptable if we're talking specifics related to propulsion, technology and weapons that can be used to give us a leg up on said adversaries. But everything else should come out and be made public. We shouldn't be told a bunch of lies about information we paid for and that could, potentially, give us some clarity about our species and other lifeforms on this planet.) Corbell: That was so clear in our interview with him that he said that, you know, 'Look, they're acting this way. They are telling you lies about AAWSAP and what happened.' And that's why he said, 'My books, I'm a government employee. This was paid by taxpayers. I'm trying to give you information.' And that's what his books are. "So it's clear from these rounds of interviews that we just had with Dr. Lacatski that he supports a controlled UFO disclosure. He made that very clear. So should we listen to what he has to say? I mean, he was a big dog, right, George?" Knapp: "He was the head of the largest U.S. government-funded UFO investigation in history, that we know of. He worked with Colm Kelleher, who was the boots-on-the-ground guy in Las Vegas. He worked with Jay Stratton. Stratton's role in the development of AAWSAP has not been really fully explored, but he's got a book coming out at some point, once it gets through the DOPSR process. But then we'll get additional information to buttress what Lacatski has said."

In Remembrance of Barbara Stanwyck. Born | July 16, 1907 in Brooklyn, New York City, New York, USA. Died | January 20, 1990 aged 82 in Santa Monica, California, USA. American actress and dancer Barbara Stanwyck (born Ruby Catherine Stevens) was a star of the stage, film, and television and during her 60-year professional career, she was known for her strong, realistic screen presence and versatility. Stanwyck was a favourite of directors, including Cecil B. DeMille, Fritz Lang, and Frank Capra, and made 86 films in 38 years before turning to television. She received numerous accolades, including three Primetime Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe Award, and was nominated for four Academy Awards. Orphaned at the age of four and partially raised in foster homes, she always worked. One of her directors, Jacques Tourneur, said of her, “She only lives for two things, and both of them are work”. She made her debut on stage in the chorus as a Ziegfeld girl in 1923 at age 16, and within a few years was acting in plays. Her first lead role, which was in the hit Burlesque (1927), established her as a Broadway star. In 1929, she transitioned from the stage to the film industry, and began acting in talking pictures, the first of which was George Archainbaud's The Locked Door, where her naturalistic acting style and unaffected vocal delivery were instantly evident. Frank Capra chose her for his romantic drama Ladies of Leisure (1930), and Stanwyck later became a favourite of Capra’s, leading to another three collaborations. This led to additional leading roles which raised her profile, such as Night Nurse (1931), Baby Face (1933), the controversial The Bitter Tea of General Yen (1933), and Gambling Lady (1934). By the late 1930s, Stanwyck had moved to more mature roles in critically and commercially successful comedies and dramas. For her performance as the titular character in Stella Dallas (1937), she earned her first Academy Award nomination for Best Actress. In 1941, she starred in two screwball comedies: Ball of Fire with Gary Cooper, and The Lady Eve with Henry Fonda. She received her second Academy Award nomination for Ball of Fire, and in the decades since its release, The Lady Eve has come to be regarded as a comedic classic, with Stanwyck's performance widely hailed as one of the best in American comedy. Other successful films during this period are Remember the Night (1940), Meet John Doe (1940) and You Belong to Me (1941), reteaming her with Cooper and Fonda, respectively, The Gay Sisters (1942), and Lady of Burlesque (1943). By 1944, Stanwyck had become the highest-paid actress in the United States. That year, she received a third Academy Award nomination for Best Actress in the film noir Double Indemnity, playing a wife who persuades an insurance salesman to kill her husband. In 1945, she played a homemaker columnist in the holiday classic Christmas in Connecticut, and the following year, starred as the titular femme fatale in The Strange Love of Martha Ivers. For the remainder of the decade, Stanwyck starred in additional successes ranging from romantic dramas and comedies, to suspenseful, crime-noirs. Her films during this period include My Reputation (1946), The Two Mrs. Carrolls (1947), Sorry, Wrong Number (1948), for which she received her fourth and final Academy Award nomination, and East Side, West Side (1949). By the early 1950s, Stanwyck’s career began to decline, despite a fair number of leading and major supporting roles, the most successful being Clash by Night (1952), Jeopardy (1953), and Executive Suite (1954). In the 1960s, Stanwyck had made a successful transition to television, where she won three Emmy Awards, for The Barbara Stanwyck Show (1961), the Western series The Big Valley (1966), and the miniseries The Thorn Birds (1983). She received an Honorary Oscar in 1982, the Golden Globe Cecil B. DeMille Award in 1986, and several other honorary lifetime awards. In 1999 she was ranked as the 11th-greatest female star of classic American cinema by the American Film Institute. Video | Barbara Stanwyck Tribute. Raising a major red flag!! This is very serious. You know, over the past few years, when I speak of antisemitism today and how it compares to antisemitism before the Holocaust, one of the biggest pushbacks I get is that back then antisemitism was institutionalized with the Nuremberg laws, but today it is not. So allow me to tell you what institutionalized antisemitism looks like. The topic of foreign aid to Israel is a hot topic. Yesterday there was a vote in the U.S. House of Representatives and 104 representatives voted for a bill to cut all foreign aid to Israel. So how serious is American foreign aid to Israel? Allow me to give you some numbers. The US GDP is about $27 trillion. Their foreign aid is about $100 billion. That means that ALL US foreign aid put together is 0.37% of their GDP. A microscopic number. But that is ALL their foreign aid. How much of that goes to Israel? America sends Israel $3.3 billion in annual foreign aid. That means that Israel’s foreign aid from the US is about 3% to 4% of total U.S. foreign aid, which is only 0.37% of the GDP. And this is what all the fuss is about?! By the way, Israel’s GDP is approaching the trillion dollar mark. So again, we’re talking about $3.3 billion from the US out of Israel’s $1 trillion GDP. That number is almost completely insignificant. For context, the Ukraine gets about $6.5 billion. So congress said no to stopping foreign aid to Israel. That’s great news, right? Wrong!! Over 100 American congressmen voted to stop foreign aid!! 104!! This was a bipartisan issue forever. No more. How does that number compare to previous votes on the same topic? In 2025, only 6 members voted to cut funding. Six! And yesterday was 104!! This is extremely worrisome! Side note: I actually hope Israel does become independent and stops taking foreign aid but that should be our decision, not congress’ decision! So… As you may or may not recall, before 10/7, I wrote a post raising a red flag that something big is about to happen and Israel will be at the center of it. Wrote that two days before. And a month before Bondi, I wrote that there is going to be a mass casualty event at a Jewish event. I’m not a prophet but I do have my eyes open so allow me to tell you what’ll happen next. The conspiracies about Israel are running rampant. They are getting sillier and more dangerous by the day. “But I’m sure those conspiracy theorists are just a bunch of crazy people with no influence.” Really? How about the vice president of the United States of America? This is a recent interview with JD Vance, the vice president of the United States of America, saying on Joe Rogan’s podcast to his millions and millions of followers and listeners that there are paid players funded by Israel who are trying everything to undermine America’s negotiations with Iran. He quotes a time magazine article that singles out actual friends of mine who are paid by no one and the entire article is one big blood libel. And this is the vice president of the United States spreading this false narrative about Israel. The conspiracies are everywhere, and they are getting worse by the day. Things that were considered socially unacceptable and even taboo just a few years ago have become a daily occurrence. If I showed you my comment section or my inbox on any given day, you would become physically ill. You know, the caricatures of Jews with big noses, the name calling, the praising Hitler, the claim that the Jews are the source of all of the world’s problems, and on and on and on. Just a few years ago, no one would dare speak that way publicly. Maybe they would say it behind closed doors, but they would never say it publicly due to the risk of being canceled as an antisemite. Not only are those things no longer taboo, not only are they acceptable, they are now the cool thing to do. All the cool kids are doing it. So here’s my new prediction. Soon, I don’t know if it’s a couple of weeks or a month or two, there’s going to be some explosive new theory or conspiracy about how Israel is undermining the US. It will be widely accepted by Americans, which will lead to a faster increase in anti-Semitism, which will lead to Jews finding themselves totally isolated and discriminated against in mainstream American society. Mark my words, over the next short while, we will see some serious allegations against Israel, whether it’s Israel spying on America, Israel stealing money from America, or something else that is completely not based on reality. Antisemitism in the United States and Western civilization in general is about to go through the roof. I am not talking about anti-Semitism from Islamist. I am not talking about radical anti-Semitism from the far left. I am not even talking about anti-Semitism from the far right. I am talking about mainstream American society, people who stood by us for years, completely turning on the Jews and joining forces with all of the groups I just mentioned. We are going to see anti-Semitism escalate physical violence and even murder. Things are about to get a whole lot worse and fast. As I always say, I would love nothing more than to be wrong, but I am not wrong. The silver lining? Many more Jews are going to come to the conclusion that they are no longer welcome in the United States, and will contact Nefesh B’Nefesh, get on a plane, and come home. Unfortunately, there will be many Jews who don’t, and who continue to convince themselves that everything is OK and that it won’t happen there. To those diaspora Jews, please remain alert at all times. So now, I ask a question I’ve been asking for years. Dear my brothers and sisters in the diaspora, what has to happen for you to realize it’s time to go? I’ve wondered my whole life why the German Jews didn’t leave, and I never had an answer, until now. If someone had a gun to their head and that person was told that if they don’t get on an El Al plane within the hour, the person will pull the trigger. Anyone in their right mind would get on a plane, right? If that’s the case, presumably those people do not think that what’s happening today constitutes a gun to their head. So here’s my question, what does? If synagogues being vandalized, Jews being harassed, Jewish businesses being boycotted, businesses refusing to serve Jews, Jews being assaulted and even murdered, being hunted down, lists of Jews being made, every single top podcaster (Candace, Tucker, Fuentes, Rogan) hating on the Jews, and politicians suggesting camps for Zionists, if all of that is not a gun to your head, then what is? What has to happen for you to realize you need to get out and now? Is there any such event? If so, what is it? I fully recognize that this is going to anger a lot of my friends in the diaspora. You know what? I am totally OK with that. You wanna know why? Because do you know who else would’ve been angered by me raising this red flag? My grandmother. And every other European Jew who lived there just before the Holocaust. If I had told them then what I’m telling you now, they would’ve called me hysterical, they would’ve said I am fearmongering, and they would’ve said it won’t happen here. Oh, and one more thing. Please don’t misunderstand me. I am deeply grateful for America’s support of Israel. My family was given refuge in the US. The US has been good to my family and to my people. I am thankful for that. Sadly that party is over and it’s time for Jews to open a history book and look what happened to the Jews in every single empire ever after many many years of living in that empire comfortably and in safety. In every single one of those instances, the party ended and the Jews did not read the writing on the wall before it was too late. How about we change that pattern and get out before it’s too late? While the party is over for Jews over there, the party over here is just getting started. We are building a BETTER future for Jews here in Israel. Yes, we have challenges here. I’d be delusional if I denied that. But the trajectory here is a good one. And if the challenges and problems over here bother you so much, then come here and fix them! The good news is, it’s true, antisemitism today cannot be compared to back then. However, there is only one reason for that, and that reason is the modern state of Israel, a country where any Jew can walk around freely with a kipa on their head and a star of David around their neck. Here, you are welcome with open arms. We were given a historic and unprecedented gift with the modern state of Israel, a gift our ancestors would have died for, and even Moses was denied. Please accept that gift and don’t throw it back into the face of the One who gave it to us. Also? Shawarma on me. 😁 Am Yisrael Chai Vekayam. The nation of Israel lives on! Those antisemites will soon become a footnote in history books while we will continue to exist, thrive, and flourish! 🇮🇱🇮🇱 Come join us!

"[Gilbert] was led to the presence of an entity, over six feet tall, with very few features except for light emission from various parts of its ‘body’" ~Vallée 💥 Explosive: Vallée Says His Friend Claims He Was Taken Inside a Mountain to Communicate With an Alien 👽 "This is serious." - "I trust him." "The tests he was asked to do tend to indicate that the higher-level controllers are indeed full Aliens but the pilots they use are primitive hybrids." (This is one of the most amazing things Vallée has ever written, and said. IF TRUE, and IF it can be proven, it will change the world. But, obviously, we first need to hear from "Gilbert," judge his credibility, and go from there. Will that ever happen? I wrote JV to see if I could get a few more details about his relationship with Gilbert but have yet to hear back from him at the time I'm posting this. I've communicated with him in the past, via email, and my last exchange with him from January of 2026 is included at the very end of this KLAP (Kind of Long-Ass Post 🙂). I believe he will be on Reality Check with Ross Coulthart this week.) "The phenomenon, "appears to be an extraterrestrial phenomenon empowered by advanced artificial intelligence." ~Vallée ~~~From the latest Bigelow Podcast~~~ George Knapp: "Jacques, you recently said something to that effect on stage at a public event where you said that there are experiments, communication, underway in labs in an unclassified setting. Can you elaborate on that at all? And have they worked?" Jacques Vallée: "Well, I mentioned that in the book. I don't think I should go beyond what's in the book because the people involved have a project to disclose and to publish what they know." (I included all of what JV wrote in the FS V7 book, down below. A peer-reviewed paper being published by Gilbert and his associates would be amazing. But I'd take a white paper and book, as long as Gilbert goes public. We need to hear from him and anybody else who claims they were in the presence of this being. And, of course, video would be nice.) Vallée: "I've seen what they have. You know, it's much more detailed about the interaction that they were able to achieve. And the man I spoke to, that I called Gilbert, was in the presence of that entity in a very structured laboratory-style environment. He was brought in because he had certain psychic abilities himself that they wanted to add as a layer to the communication because they had trouble with the communication. "Now, I wasn't there. I cannot vouch for that. You know, I cannot, you know, stand before Congress or in a SCIF, you know, and talk about that because that's not my information. But I thought that was relevant, you know, to the whole discussion." ~End Bigelow Podcast Transcript~ ~~~Everything Claimed About Gilbert~~~ From: Forbidden Science 7 - Final Report Hummingbird. Saturday 9 October 2021. (Day 581) Another surprise: A long-lost (but not forgotten) friend of mine I will call “Gilbert,” a discrete master remote viewer at the level of Uri Geller and Ingo Swann, has contacted me again, suggesting a meeting. He hinted at a fantastic experience of controlled personal exchange he performed, guided through official channels to a session with a supposed Alien. He needs help sorting out the results. This is serious. He’s sending me the explosive data. Mabillon. Thursday 28 September 2023. I have new information from Gilbert,* as I call my trusted correspondent, in his long-time work with research teams. I’ve read the new statements he’s sent me (under some restrictions, since he has plans to publish the full story) about past contact experiences and experiments. I’ve requested more of the open data to confirm and extend it. Assuming we can find such validation, we can forget about the incremental experiments of Kona Blue, the proposed Department of Homeland Security special access program designed to investigate and exploit potential "non-human biologics" and retrieved advanced aerospace technology. The new data on my desk fills five closely typed pages. They detail Gilbert’s trip to a US lab sheltered within rock and only accessible under that project. Knowing our prior association, I recall that the psychic and I crossed paths in Central America and other sites over the years. I trust him but I need to know much more. He’s agreed we need to find a way to meet again somewhere for a couple of days; there’s more to share with me, including maps and charts, and he’ll need advice. On my side, I will have to find a way to verify the data, including the location where the military guides exposed this long-term researcher to the presence of what they specifically told him was a live Alien entity. Was that fully veridical (truthful, accurate ~Joe) data? Hummingbird. Wednesday 18 December 2024. ...my latest exchange with discreet Gilbert, following up on our earlier conversations. He has now summarized his experiments with a captured entity into a well-organized table describing the interactions, and he’s agreed I could see it. For a few of the questions he’d been instructed to pose psychically, he did not get any clear answer. For others, he did receive an impression that he couldn’t decipher, but he noted it for the record, very much in the manner Ingo Swann had taught me at SRI decades ago. The bulk of the new data from Gilbert, in contrast, is highly relevant and urgent. The tests he was asked to do tend to indicate that the higher-level controllers are indeed full Aliens but the pilots they use are primitive hybrids, as we see in Trinity, Socorro, Valensole, and now in Varginha, now a total of nine similar entities in my database: child-size, breathing air, adapted to our special gravity. "They could be human-derived, to serve only on this planet. They are the same kind of creatures that biologist Erwin Chargaff of Columbia University was asked to look for when he went to Moscow for a conference. The CIA wanted him to find out discreetly if the Russians had developed a race of dwarves to pilot their spaceships, saving space and energy on the way to orbit and the moon. Dr. Chargaff carefully avoided the issue, not eager to end up in a Soviet prison. Currently, there doesn’t seem to be any hard test that will clearly discriminate between the two possible modes of control, psychic or physical. Personally, I don’t believe any more that the occupants serve as pilots, and neither does Gilbert. What he learned about the goals of the UFO intrusion may be the most insightful, if and when he can reveal it fully. Austin. Tuesday 11 March 2025. Has an Alien linguistic connection been known and validated for years by groups of military scientists? None of the confusion in Austin relates to Gilbert, and my talented friend’s focused experiments with an apparently living Alien whose language and thought system he studies. That side of the problem is untouched. Since our conversation last December, I have seen the long list of technical questions Gilbert and the attending group had posed to the entity, together with Gilbert’s personal report on psychic impressions he carefully presents as “indications only.” Most results are solid and consistent, although for some questions there was no answer at all from the entity, or only an ambiguous answer. He promised to send me more details which, he said, didn’t involve classified information. That surprised me, as the data about the origin and circumstances of the capture (when, where, who?) were indeed classified, and the exact location isn’t revealed. Anyway, it’s the nature of the communication that interests me, not so much its background. Hummingbird. Wednesday 12 March 2025. Today I also reviewed more details from Gilbert, following up about his experiences. He made it clear he was never part of the formal program of investigation with the ‘entity’ and didn’t know if other captured (or volunteer) beings existed, or where they were kept. He knew approximately where he was but couldn’t see outside the car that was driving him there. He was taken inside a small mountain to an underground room, well-lit and cared for by men and women in uniform with no designation of rank or unit. The room was a big lab. This was serious and well-run. No drugs or medical items were involved. The uniforms had no apparent military features that would identify the unit. He was led to the presence of an entity, over six feet tall, with very few features except for light emission from various parts of its ‘body’ so that Gilbert thought what he saw might be covered by a test article, a wired uniform or a safety container for the being rather than the body of an actual Alien. At least, that was the general impression I received from what he said. That impression changed when Gilbert engaged the entity with question-and-answer sequences, where he was left to interpret answers that came in the form of light combinations. The trials, whose results I have in detail, are remarkable. Some were flagged as inconsistent and some were left incomplete when the response was too complex, but many of the tests matched earlier results, and Gilbert got permission to enquire about psychic functioning, also with success. I am purposely vague about that phase of the session, which took several hours of sustained attention. It will be Gilbert’s prerogative to say more when he can speak on the record. All of Vallée's books are worth the purchase. Link in replies. Vallée, Jacques. Forbidden Science 7: Final Report: The Journals of Jacques Vallée 2020-2025 (pp. 539-540). (Function). Kindle Edition. ~~~My Last Email Interaction with JV in January of 2026~~~ Murgia: "Today, during the James Fox-hosted Varginha press conference, you said: The phenomenon, 'appears to be an extraterrestrial phenomenon empowered by advanced artificial intelligence.' "Is that a change in your opinion on the origin of the phenomenon? Because, over the years, you've talked about other realities and dimensions and leaned away from the ETH." Vallée: "I don't think those are mutually exclusive. We have started to use AI quite actively, and we have to expect other species would as well -- and better. "To me, the creatures seen at Trinity, Socorro and Valensole, and now revealed quite clearly at Varginha, could be artificial biological 'robots', designed to withstand our gravity, breathe our air and look 'human-like' enough to interact with us -- or simply to learn about us. "When I was discussing this with Bill Powers circa 1966, right after Socorro he half-joked that they could be 'noticing machines.' "That could mean that any secret project designed to learn about their biology, although extremely interesting, will teach us nothing about the origin of UFOs, whose real controllers are somewhere else and have evolved like us. I've come to believe there are two levels involved -- at least."

And "Dr. Phil UFO" is one of the fastest rising searches in the country. If all of that is true, it's a very good thing. Especially since he's been putting out some really good videos. He mentions the latest release (#4) of UFO/UAP files from the Pentagon last Friday.) "My team and I were granted early access, exclusive access to those documents before they went public." "Our government has been lying to us, by omission AND by intentional misdirection, for 79 years." "Look at these documents. You go back as far as 1947 where they have had clear information that there are objects not of this Earth, both technologically, metallurgically, performance-wise. But yet, that has been hidden from us. They've denied that, they've actually threatened people from talking about this. Threatened with careers, imprisonment, and some, with death, because they would consider it treason." (He backs it up with documents. See below.) Dr. Phil: "For 80 years, every time there was a legitimate UAP sighting and the U.S. government had a chance to get in there, they essentially told us, 'Nothing to see here. Move along.' To be clear, a UAP sighting is not proof of little green men or alien life. It means something happened, something was observed, something occurred for which we have no explanation. That's it. "Now, let's talk about that for a second. Things happen, and we don't have any explanation for it. We don't have technology that explains that. There's something that is observed in the sky, going at a speed, stopping, making a sharp turn, reversing direction, accelerating, changing altitudes, and we don't have anything on this Earth that can do that. That's what's called unexplained. "Now, do we know where it's from? How it does that? Well, if we did, it would be explained. But we don't. We go look at all of our secret weapons. We go look at what we know through intelligence, other countries have. And let me tell you, a lot of these (laughs) - they're not close calls. They are not close calls. And some of the things that have been observed, we damn sure didn't have anything like that in the 40s or the 50s or the 60s, and we still don't, now in 2020s. "But at the very same time, our government was telling us, 'Nothing to see here: weather balloon, reflection off of an airplane, just a weather anomaly.' And, the government was simultaneously threatening its own people with criminal penalties if they ever disclosed UAP information. "If somebody that was credible, that had seen this, spoke about it, they were threatened with all kinds of penalties. We were gaslighted. 'No big deal here. Probably weather balloons, misidentified aircraft.' And a jumpy public that watched, 'Close Encounters' one too many times, thinking, 'Look, what's really going on here?' "Behind the curtain, the government was spending generations of time and resources protecting this information. Was it happening? Yes, it was happening! Do we have proof of it happening? Yes, we have proof of it happening. And what I mean by that is we have this on radar. We have credible, military pilots reporting it. "We have aircraft that have guns, and when you open a gun and go live on a fighter, there's a camera that activates, so you have video of what the gun is shooting at. You have gun cameras. If they see one of these things in front of them, they open their weapons, in case they need them, and so it shoots video of what they're seeing. "Now let's talk about some of the proof. JANAP 146 - Joint Army, Navy, Air Force publication 146 - made it a criminal offense for military personnel and commercial airline pilots to discuss UFO sightings outside official channels. The penalty, 'up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.' "So, you might see some guy down on a lake, drinking beer, that talks about something he saw over the lake. Yeah, they don't mind that guy talking. But credible people? Trained observers with instrumentation? No. They say something, they're going to prison. "Well, that took effect upon receipt. No hearings, no debate. The regulation says, 'All persons aware of the contents or existence...are governed by...espionage laws.' So not just the pilot who filed a report under JANAP 146, anyone who leaked a report. Radio operators, airline staff, anyone in the chain could be prosecuted under the Espionage Act. "You can see this yourself. Declassified copies are online today, including on the NSA's website. Now what is the Espionage Act? That's the same law used to prosecute spies. Section 793: Up to 10 years in federal prison for every violation. Section 794: If the information reaches a foreign power, life in prison, or death. "Imagine you're a TWA captain in 1955. You see something over the Pacific you just simply can't explain. You file your report like the regulation requires. And from that moment, talk to a newspaper, tell your own wife, puts you in the same legal category as a spy. "Ask yourself why. Why are they so interested in muzzling all this conversation? Why do they not want you to know this is going on? Why are you not entitled to know what's happening in the air around you? "Now, let's fast forward 20 years, 1971. Oliver Harry Turner was an Australian nuclear scientist and intelligence officer, head of the nuclear branch of Australia's Joint Intelligence Organization. He was asked to assess the American response to the growing UAP issue. "If you're thinking, what does an Australian know about U.S. military secrets? Well, the possibility of life beyond this planet is bigger than any one country. Australia and the rest of the world has a legitimate interest in what the U.S. knows. And Australia is one of our closest intelligence allies. What we now call Five Eyes. "The Five Eyes countries are the United States, Britain, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. These countries have shared their most sensitive intelligence with each other since World War II. When a senior, Five Eyes nuclear intelligence officer writes a report about what the United States knows, well, that's serious. "He was outside the American classification system. He had no career to lose. He pieced this together from official CIA, Air Force, Congressional, and Project Blue Book records. Now this report was written May 27, 1971. Original classification: Secret. Title: Scientific and Intelligence Aspects of the UFO Problem. Report declassified by the National Archives of Australia in 2023. "On June 9th of 2026, whistleblower David Crusch (Yes, he said Crusch) stood on Capitol Hill and told the public to read pages seven through sixteen." ~ David Grusch: "There is a declassified 1971 Australian, formally-classified, Secret assessment that a couple years ago was put in the Australian National Archives. I encourage people to read page seven through sixteen, and that was the nuclear branch chief of the Australian government discussing the U.S. cover-up and the involvement of the CIA back in the 70s. And that's actually a little-known document that is publicly available." ~ Dr. Phil: "Now here's the kicker: foreign intelligence describing an American cover-up is now referenced in the files that our government is just now releasing. And here are six key findings in the Turner report. "Number one, what Turner called the facade of ridicule. Turner documents that early Air Force intelligence concluded, 'Some of these objects, 'had flight characteristics' that could best be explained as having 'extraterrestrial origin.' (The actual language says: "The early analysis of UFO reports by USAF intelligence indicated that real phenomena were being reported which had flight characteristics so far in advance of U.S. aircraft that only as extra-terrestrial origin could be envisaged." ) Dr. Phil: "Instead of telling the public, the CIA and Air Force adopted a deliberate debunking policy. "Now let that sit with you for a minute. Instead of telling the public, the CIA and Air Force adopted a deliberate debunking policy. We've got to get these people believing this isn't real. We've got to debunk this. "January 1953, Turner's own words: 'By erecting a facade of ridicule, the U.S. hoped to allay public alarm, reduce the possibility of the Soviet taking advantage of UFO mass sightings...and act as a cover-up so the U.S. can develop vehicles that emulate UFO performances.' "What's the point? Well, the point is, they were thinking, 'All right, let's keep this secret,' like we're the only ones seeing this, 'and maybe we can reverse engineer this so we will have this incredible edge over the rest of the world.' "That's a great goal, I guess, if you can go from flying-prop planes or early jets to this incredible speed. If these are extraterrestrial, and the nearest galaxy is Andromeda, which it takes two and a half million years to get to, flying at the speed of light, we're pretty far from being able to do that. "Today, in 2026, can we move at the speed of light? No. If we could, it would take two and a half million years to get to the next galaxy. We can't move at the speed of light, even now in 2026. But that was the goal. They'll find one of these and reverse engineer it." (I don't know whether or not any black program has tech that can move at the speed of light and I doubt Dr. Phil knows, either. Someone should show him what Lacatski said about being able to reverse engineer some of this acquired (alleged non-human) tech but "not to its full extent.") Dr. Phil: "Finding number two. He then talks about Project Sign. This was the U.S. Air Force's first official UFO investigation set up in late 1947. Its analysts reportedly concluded that extraterrestrial origin was the best explanation. Air Force Chief of Staff General Hoyt Vandenberg rejected that conclusion, and copies of the report were ordered destroyed. Destroyed! "And per Turner, in February 1949, members of Project Sign, 'either volunteered to leave or were compelled to leave,' and they were replaced by people, 'willing to ridicule the concept of UFOs.' "Think about this! We have sightings by legitimate observers with scientific instrumentation, and the people who are doing the observing are voluntarily leaving or compelled to leave, and replaced by people willing to ridicule the concept of UFOs. "Finding number three, what I spoke about earlier: JANAP 146. Up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine for discussing sightings outside official channels. And per the regulation's own text, Chapter One, Section 102, it covered not just military personnel, but U.S. and Canadian civilian and commercial pilots. "That's legal force over airline pilots, arguably the most credible witnesses in the sky! What jurisdiction they had over Canadian pilots, I have no idea, but they listed 'em. "Turner documents a meeting between military intelligence and airline pilots at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood. At that meeting, pilots were, 'coerced' to keep their sightings out of public view and inside official channels. Am I overstating it to say that there's been a cover-up, that we're being lied to? "Finding number four. But they missed the retirees. JANAP 146 only covered active service. Once you retired, you could talk. And three very senior men did so between 1953 and 1960. Admiral Roscoe Hillenkoetter, the first director of the CIA, Captain Edward Ruppelt, the man the Air Force put in charge of investigating UFOs, Major Dewey Fournet, the Pentagon's project officer on UFOs. Per Turner, all three publicly stated the U.S. government knew UFOs were extraterrestrial and was withholding the fact from the public! So when those three retired, they told the truth! "Finding five. The government then silenced retirees. Per Turner, the revised regulation JANAP 146e made UAP disclosure by retirees an offense under the Espionage Act. Then finding number six. 1969, 17 years, the Air Force ran a public-facing UFO investigation called Project Blue Book. If you wrote your congressman about a sighting, it went into the Blue Book. And in 1969, the Air Force shut down the Blue Book and told the country, 'We looked at more than 12,000 sightings. No problems. No national security threat. No need for the Blue Book.' "But a memo from General Carroll Bolender, the Air Force general, said the reason Blue Book showed no national security threats was because any national security threats were gag ordered under JANAP 146 and were quote, 'not part of the Blue Book system.' The serious reports never stopped; they just moved out of public view. "Now, I know that was a lot of information. You may need to listen back to that, but those are facts. Those are in the government's documents that have now been declassified! "If the government has known for decades that unidentified objects are flying through our skies, and therefore, we may not be alone in the Universe, then the greatest revelation in American history has also been the target of a huge cover-up. "One of the challenges of social media and TV news is taking something this complex and reducing it to sound bites. And you're getting bits and pieces from the media. That's why I invest so much time and energy giving you the real story. I don't want to tell you what you believe or don't believe, but I want to give you the information so you can make up your own mind. "This information is in the files, we just haven't had access to the files. And then when we get the files, we're given the files without any context. You see a radar screen and you see a blip, and then it moves. Well, what do you have to compare it to? Is it moving fast? Too fast? Unexplainably fast? Without any context, how are we supposed to interpret that? "Well, I'm digging in, I'm talking to experts, I'm finding out what the scale is. And what we're learning, is we don't have anything that'll move that fast. We don't have anything that'll turn that sharp. We don't have anything that will withstand those kind of G-forces."

I did not plan for this to change me. Nobody plans for that. You wake up, you go about your ordinary Tuesday, you have a list of things to do that has nothing to do with saving anything — and then something crosses your path that you cannot unsee. That's the part people never talk about. Not the rescue itself. The moment right before it, when you still have the option to keep walking. Most people keep walking. I want to be honest with you about that, because everyone who posts a "happy ending" video skips the part where they almost didn't stop. I almost didn't stop. There is a version of this story where I drive past, where I tell myself someone else will handle it, where I convince myself that getting involved is messy and expensive and inconvenient and above my pay grade as a human being. That version of the story exists in a thousand other places, right now, happening to a thousand other creatures nobody will ever post about. This is not that story. But it could have been. Watch until the end and you'll understand why I'm saying this instead of just captioning it "rescued a cat, so cute!!" and moving on with my day. Because it wasn't cute. Not at first. Not for a long time, actually. The first version of this story is ugly and quiet and full of doubt, and if you only want the pretty part, you can scroll to the end of the video and skip everything I'm about to tell you. But you'd be missing the whole point. Here's something nobody tells you about fear: it doesn't look like what you think it looks like. You imagine an animal in danger will look grateful the second help arrives. You imagine relief on its face, some kind of instant recognition that you're the good guy in this story. That is Hollywood. That is not real life. Real fear looks like resistance. Real fear looks like an animal that has been let down by the world so many times that it has stopped believing rescue is even a category that exists. Real trust has to be built one motionless, patient, boring minute at a time, and most people don't have the stomach for boring. Most people want the montage. Nobody wants the part where you sit there, doing nothing dramatic at all, just existing calmly nearby, over and over, until something in a terrified brain finally recalibrates and decides you're not a threat. That part isn't going in anyone's highlight reel. Except this time, it is. Because I think you need to see it. I think you need to see it because we have become a species addicted to instant everything. Instant food, instant answers, instant relationships that dissolve the second they require patience. And somewhere in that acceleration, we lost the muscle for slow devotion — the kind that doesn't post an update every day, the kind that doesn't get a like for showing up on day fourteen when nothing visible has changed yet. This video is proof that the boring days matter just as much as the breakthrough moment. Maybe more. The breakthrough moment gets the views. The boring days are what make the breakthrough possible at all. Let me ask you something, and I want you to actually sit with it instead of scrolling past: when was the last time you did something with zero guarantee it would work? Because that's what this was. There is no contract in rescue. Nobody hands you a guarantee that says "continue showing up and eventually this will resolve beautifully." You show up anyway. You show up on the days it feels pointless. You show up on the days you privately wonder if you're the one being unreasonable, if you should just accept that some situations don't have happy endings, if you're pouring time and money and worry into something that the universe has already decided the outcome of. And you show up again the next day anyway, because the alternative — walking away — was never actually a real option once you'd already looked into those eyes the first time. That's the secret nobody says out loud: once you really see a creature suffering, you can't fully unsee it. It moves into your head and sets up residence. It becomes a low hum underneath every other thing you do that day. You'll be at dinner, at work, half-listening to a conversation, and there it is again — that animal, that need, that unresolved thread pulling at you. People who haven't experienced this think rescuers are unusually noble or unusually sentimental. We're not. We're just people who got unlucky enough to actually look, and looking is the whole trick. Looking is the doorway you can't close once you've walked through it. I'm not telling you this to make myself sound like a hero. I want to be extremely clear about that, because I think the "hero rescuer" narrative is actually kind of dishonest and it lets everyone else off the hook. The truth is less flattering and more useful: I was scared too. I didn't know if this would work. I didn't have a plan that guaranteed success. I just had a decision to make in a specific moment, and I made the harder one instead of the easier one, and then I had to keep making that same harder decision, quietly, every single day after that, long after anyone was watching or cared. Most transformation looks like nothing while it's happening. That's the part that will wreck you if you actually pay attention to this video instead of just watching it for the dopamine hit at the end. The transformation in the middle of this story does not look like transformation. It looks like stagnation. It looks like two steps forward and four steps back. It looks like moments where you genuinely cannot tell if what you're doing is helping or just prolonging something. Nobody warns you that "getting better" often looks identical to "not getting better" until you're far enough past it to look back and finally see the shape of the arc. I think about this a lot in relation to more than just animals, honestly. I think about how we judge our own growth, our own healing, our own slow projects — we want the montage, we want the visible curve upward, and when we don't get it in a timeframe that feels reasonable, we assume we've failed. We assume the effort was wasted. We give up right before the part where it would have started to show. This video is, weirdly, a pretty good metaphor for that. Everything that mattered happened in the part that didn't look like anything was happening. There's a specific moment in this footage — I'm not going to tell you which one, because you need to feel it land yourself, not be told about it in advance — where something shifts. It's small. It's almost nothing. If you're not paying attention you could miss it entirely, and I almost did, in real time, because I wasn't expecting it and I certainly wasn't expecting it to matter as much as it turned out to matter. That's usually how the important moments work, by the way. The universe rarely announces them with a soundtrack swell. It just quietly hands you the hinge point and moves on, and you only recognize it in hindsight, days or weeks later, when you're piecing together how you got from point A to point B and you realize: oh. That was it. That was the moment everything actually started to turn. I've watched this footage back more times than I want to admit, and every single time, that moment gets me. Not because it's dramatic. Because it's the opposite of dramatic. It's small and quiet and almost embarrassingly simple, and that's exactly why it works on me every time. We've been trained by movies to expect big gestures as the marker of real change. Real change is smaller and stranger and much more moving than anything a screenwriter would ever put in a script, because real change doesn't care about being cinematic. It only cares about being true. I want to talk for a second about the difference between rescuing something and actually helping it, because they are not the same thing, and conflating them is one of the more common mistakes people make with good intentions. Rescuing is the dramatic part — the removal from danger, the single decisive act. Helping is everything after that, and it is unglamorous and repetitive and occasionally thankless, and it is also the part that actually determines the outcome. Anyone can have one good instinct in one good moment. Sustaining care past the point where it stops being interesting is a completely different skill, and it's the one that actually matters, and it's the one this video is really about if you look closely enough. There's a particular kind of exhaustion that comes with caregiving that doesn't have a finish line you can see. You're not told "three more weeks and this resolves." You're just told, implicitly, by the situation itself: keep going, we'll figure out when it's done when it's done. That's a strange kind of commitment to make. It requires a specific type of stubbornness that isn't really about hope, exactly — hope implies you're waiting for something external to happen to you. This is closer to resolve. Resolve doesn't wait for external permission to keep going. Resolve just keeps going, on principle, because the alternative was never actually a real option. I think a lot of people watch content like this and assume the animal is the only one who was changed by it. I want to push back on that gently, because it flattens the actual experience. Something in me was also different by the end of this than it was at the beginning. You cannot pour weeks of consistent, patient, uncertain effort into another living thing and come out the exact same person you went in as. It recalibrates something in you. It teaches you things about patience that no productivity book ever managed to teach me, because productivity books are about optimizing outcomes you can control, and this was the opposite of that — an outcome I could not control, that I could only show up for, day after day, and hope that the showing up eventually mattered. There's a reason stories like this spread the way they do, and it's not just "cute animal content," even though that's the label the algorithm slaps on it. I think it's because on some level, we are all quietly starving for proof that consistent, unglamorous effort still pays off in a world that keeps telling us the only things that count are the loud, fast, viral wins. We need reminders that the slow version still works. That showing up on the boring days is not wasted time. That the moment things change is usually preceded by a long, unremarkable stretch where absolutely nothing seemed to be happening at all, and that stretch was not actually wasted — it was the necessary, invisible groundwork the visible change was quietly built on top of. So here is what I actually want you to take from this, more than the video itself: the next time you're in the middle of something that isn't working yet, something you've been showing up for without any evidence it's paying off, something that everyone around you might reasonably tell you to give up on — I want you to remember that transformation does not announce itself in advance. It does not send you a schedule. It just asks you to keep showing up through the part that looks like nothing, because the part that looks like nothing is usually exactly where the whole thing turns. I didn't post this to get views, even though I know that's what everyone says and nobody ever actually means it. I posted it because I think there's something in this specific sequence of events that people need to actually watch, start to finish, without skipping ahead, without reading a summary, without letting someone else's caption replace the experience of seeing it unfold in real time the way it unfolded for me. Summaries kill things like this. A synopsis of a transformation is not the same as witnessing one. You already know this, somewhere — it's why book adaptations rarely land the same way the book did, why hearing about a sunset is not the same as standing under one. Some things have to be experienced directly or they don't actually transmit. That's the whole reason I'm asking you to actually watch this instead of scrolling past on the strength of this caption alone. Everything I've written here is context, not substance. The substance is in the footage. The substance is in watching fear slowly, unglamorously, incrementally give way to something else — and I promise you, if you sit through the parts that feel slow, the ending will hit differently than if you just jump to it. I've tested this on people. The ones who watch the whole thing react differently than the ones who skip to the last ten seconds. The context changes the payoff. That's not an accident. That's how transformation actually works, on video and in life: the payoff only means what it means because of everything unglamorous that came before it. Someone asked me why I even filmed any of this in the first place, given how uncertain the outcome was for most of it, and it's a fair question, because filming something you don't know the ending to is a strange act of faith in itself. The honest answer is that I didn't film it because I expected it to end well. I filmed it because I wanted a record, for myself, regardless of how it turned out — proof that the effort happened, proof that the days were real, proof that I showed up even on the days it felt pointless, whether or not there was ever going to be a satisfying conclusion to show anyone. That distinction matters more than it sounds like it should. Content made for an ending is different from content made as a record. You can feel the difference when you watch it, even if you can't always articulate why. The camera in this story was never a narrative device. It was a witness, and witnesses don't get to pick which parts are worth recording just because they're not sure yet how the story ends. The algorithm, for what it's worth, does not understand any of this. It cannot tell the difference between eleven seconds of manufactured chaos and eleven seconds pulled from something that took weeks of real, unglamorous, uncertain effort to earn. It rewards the same signals either way — the immediate hook, the retention curve, the completion rate — completely blind to what was actually required to produce the footage behind those numbers. I've made my peace with that, mostly, because I don't think content should be made for the algorithm's benefit in the first place. But I bring it up because I want you to understand that the length of this caption, the refusal to just give you a cute two-line summary and move on, is a deliberate act of friction against a system that wants everything reduced to its most easily digestible form. I'm asking you to actually read, actually sit with something, actually watch something in full, in a media environment engineered to discourage exactly that. If that annoys you, I understand. If it doesn't, I think you're exactly the kind of person this was made for. There's an old idea, older than social media, older than video itself, that witnessing changes the witness. You cannot fully observe suffering and stay exactly the same as you were before you observed it, not if you're paying real attention. I think that's actually the quiet mechanism behind why content like this spreads the way it does when it's real — it's not that people want to watch suffering, and it's not even really that people want to watch relief. It's that people want to be changed a little, safely, from the comfort of wherever they're sitting, by something true. We're all looking for small, low-stakes opportunities to feel something real in a scroll built almost entirely out of things engineered to feel real without costing anything. This costs something. Not much, not compared to what it cost to live through the actual weeks involved — but a few minutes of your real attention, spent on something true instead of something manufactured to extract that attention from you. That's a fair trade, I think. I wouldn't ask for it otherwise. Let's talk about the internet's obsession with orange cats for a second, because I think it's actually relevant here and not just a throwaway joke. There's a running bit online that orange cats are "the golden retrievers of the cat world" — a little chaotic, a little dumb in the most endearing way, incapable of subtlety, allergic to dignity. People love that stereotype because it's low stakes. It's comedy. It's the kind of content you consume for eleven seconds and forget by the time you've swiped to the next video. I want to be upfront that this is not that. This isn't the goofy-orange-cat-does-something-silly genre you're used to. This is something that starts in a completely different register and asks something different of you as a viewer — attention instead of amusement, patience instead of a quick laugh. If you came here expecting the usual orange-cat chaos content, recalibrate now, because what you're about to watch operates on a different emotional frequency entirely, and I think that contrast is part of why it hits as hard as it does. You're primed for comedy. You get something closer to a gut-punch, followed by something closer to grace. That whiplash is not an accident of editing. That whiplash is just what actually happened, in that order, in real life, and I didn't have to manufacture any of it. I also want to address the skeptics directly, because I know they exist and honestly, they should exist — the internet is genuinely full of staged rescue content, cats "saved" from situations they were placed into five minutes earlier by the same person filming, entire monetization pipelines built on manufactured suffering for engagement. That skepticism is earned. I'm not going to pretend it isn't a reasonable default position in 2026. What I will say is this: the only thing I can offer you against that skepticism is time. Time is the one thing you cannot fake convincingly across an extended sequence. Staged content wants your eleven seconds and your dopamine hit and then it wants you gone before you notice the seams. Real, extended, unglamorous care doesn't hold up as well under fabrication, because faking boredom, faking small unremarkable days, faking the parts where nothing dramatic happens — that's actually harder to fake than faking a single dramatic rescue moment. The boring middle is the tell. Manufactured content skips straight to the emotional peaks because manufacturing boring authenticity is expensive and pointless from a content-farming perspective. So if anything, the slowness of what you're about to watch should read as evidence, not despite itself but because of itself. I think about the phrase "it's just a cat" a lot, because I've heard it, and you've probably heard some version of it too, usually from someone who has never had to sit with a frightened creature and slowly, patiently earn its trust with nothing but consistency and time. I used to almost agree with that sentiment before I actually lived through something like this. Now I think the phrase says more about the person saying it than about the situation they're dismissing. Suffering doesn't require language to be real. Fear doesn't require a vocabulary to be legitimate. And the specific kind of trust that gets rebuilt between two creatures who don't share a language, who can't negotiate terms or explain intentions to each other, who have to communicate entirely through consistency, presence, and time — I'd argue that's actually a purer test of whether care is real than almost anything that happens between two humans who can just say "I promise I won't hurt you" out loud and have that count for something on its own. An animal doesn't take your word for it. An animal only believes what you repeatedly, boringly, unglamorously demonstrate. That's a much higher bar than most human relationships ever have to clear, and clearing it means something. There's also something worth saying about scars, visible and invisible, and how we relate to them once the crisis has passed. It would be easy — and honestly, more common — to frame a story like this purely around the after: the relief, the resolution, the moment everything looks fixed and clean and photogenic. But recovery doesn't erase what happened. It just changes the relationship you have to it. The fear doesn't fully disappear; it gets integrated, managed, outpaced by new experiences that slowly outweigh the old ones. I think that's actually a more honest and more useful thing to understand about healing in general, animal or human: you're not looking for the moment the bad thing never happened. You're looking for the moment the good outweighs it enough that the bad stops being the loudest voice in the room. That's a different, more achievable, more real goal than "erase the past," and I think this video quietly demonstrates the difference better than any explanation of it could. I also want to acknowledge, honestly, how much luck was involved in this, because I think pretending otherwise would be a disservice to the people currently in a similar situation without the same resources. Not everyone has the time to show up every single day. Not everyone has access to the kind of help that made parts of this possible. Not everyone has a schedule flexible enough to prioritize a creature that owes them nothing and offers no guarantees in return. I got lucky in ways that mattered, and I don't want to erase that luck from the story just because "hard work and heart" makes for a cleaner narrative. Both things are true at once: the effort mattered enormously, and the circumstances that allowed the effort to happen at all were not something everyone has equal access to. If you're in a position where you want to help something or someone but don't have the resources this required, that doesn't make your instinct to help any less real or any less valuable — it just means the shape your help takes might look different, smaller, more limited, and that's fine. Small, limited help consistently offered is still worth more than grand help that never actually materializes because the bar felt too high to start. I keep circling back to this idea of "the boring middle" because I genuinely think it's the single most important and most overlooked part of any real transformation story, and I think our current media environment has actively trained us to skip it, both as viewers and as people living our own lives. We've been fed thousands of hours of before-and-after content, transformation montages set to music, "watch this glow-up" edits that compress months into fifteen seconds — and somewhere in consuming all of that, we internalized a completely false model of how change actually happens. We started believing change is supposed to be visible, fast, and continuous. It isn't. Change is mostly invisible, mostly slow, and mostly non-continuous — it happens in fits and starts, with long flat stretches where it looks like nothing at all is occurring, followed by short bursts where everything that was quietly accumulating suddenly becomes visible all at once. If you only ever watch the burst, you'll never understand where it actually came from, and you'll assume your own flat stretches mean you're doing something wrong, when actually you might just be in the most important and least glamorous part of the whole process. I want to leave you with one more thought before you go press play, because I think it reframes everything else I've said here. We tend to think of rescue as something one party does to another — an active party and a passive recipient, a saver and a saved. But if you watch closely, really closely, you'll notice that's not quite what's happening in this footage. There's a second, quieter rescue happening in parallel, running underneath the obvious one, and it's not the kind that gets a caption of its own on most videos like this. I'm not going to spell it out for you. I think you'll recognize it when you see it, and I think it will mean more to you if you find it yourself instead of having it pointed out in advance. That's the last thing I'll say about the content itself. Everything else is yours to discover. One more thing, and then I'll let you go watch it. People keep asking me, in different words, some version of "was it worth it." I understand why they ask. It's a fair question when you're talking about weeks of uncertain effort with no guaranteed return. But I think the question itself reveals something about how we've been trained to think about care — as a transaction, an investment with an expected yield, something you calculate the ROI on before committing. I didn't do this because I ran the numbers and decided the expected outcome justified the input. I did it because in the specific moment I was faced with the choice, walking away was never actually available to me as an option, no matter how exhausted or uncertain I got later. And I think that's true of most things that end up mattering.

The World Is Not Linear: A Field Guide to the Laws That Quietly Run Everything Most smart people don’t fail because they’re dumb. They fail because they apply clean logic to a messy world — and the world punishes that mistake with a smile. The messy truth is that modern life is shaped less by individual intent and more by systems: incentives, competition, scaling effects, path dependence, and statistical weirdness. These systems produce outcomes that feel unfair or mysterious until you learn the underlying “laws” — a set of lenses that let you predict how things actually behave. This is not about becoming cynical. It’s about becoming accurate. Once you internalize these lenses, you start noticing that most disagreements aren’t about values. They’re about which hidden force you think dominates: Do incentives matter more than morals? Do networks scale value more than craftsmanship? Do rare events matter more than averages? Do systems evolve, or can they be designed? This article is a guided map through those forces — told as one story. 1) The seduction of “doing the obvious thing” Imagine you’re in charge of improving something important: a company, a city, a hospital, a school, a product, maybe even your own life. You do what responsible people do: you define a goal. You pick a metric. And you tell everyone: we’re going to win on this number. This is where the first trap snaps shut. Goodhart’s Law: the metric stops being real When a measure becomes a target, it stops being a good measure. Before it became a target, the metric was an instrument: a thermometer. After it becomes a target, it becomes a game. Hospitals improve “wait times” by changing intake rules. Companies improve “engagement” by nudging addiction. Schools improve test scores by teaching to the test. Police departments improve crime stats by changing what counts as a crime. Not because anyone is evil. Because the system rewards it. The principal–agent problem: the doers don’t pay This is the deeper engine under Goodhart. The person deciding is not the person suffering the consequences. Executives chase quarterly optics; employees deal with the chaos. Politicians chase election cycles; citizens live with the long-term effects. Managers chase easy metrics; customers absorb the frustration. Once you see principal–agent problems, you start seeing why seemingly intelligent organizations keep doing self-destructive things: the incentives are miswired. The Cobra Effect: perverse incentives grow cobras Sometimes this miswiring gets darkly funny. Reward outcomes and people will manufacture the appearance of outcomes. In the original parable, a colonial government offered a bounty for dead cobras — and people began breeding cobras. This isn’t historical trivia; it’s a universal pattern: Reward bug counts → people file junk bugs. Reward convictions → plea bargains + overcharging. Reward content volume → SEO sludge. Reward “delivery” → rushed work + tech debt. The world is full of cobra farms. 2) Why fixing things often makes them worse Okay, so: choose better metrics, align incentives, done. Not quite. Because even well-intentioned fixes trigger the next law: second-order effects. Chesterton’s Fence: don’t remove constraints you don’t understand You walk into an old system and see “stupid rules.” You want to clean house. You want to simplify. But: why is that rule there? Don’t remove a fence until you know why it was built. A lot of institutional weirdness is scar tissue from past disasters. The rule might be dumb — but if you don’t understand it, you don’t know what disaster you’re re-inviting. This is why naive reformers are dangerous: they confuse “not understanding a thing” with “the thing being pointless.” Gall’s Law: complex systems must grow from simple working ones Even if the fence is removable, you still hit the next problem: A complex system that works is always evolved from a simple system that worked. This demolishes a common fantasy: that you can design complexity from scratch. Most large redesigns fail for one reason: They try to create a finished organism instead of growing a living embryo. If the system matters, you don’t “implement” the final form. You build something simpler that works. Then you iterate. Gall’s law is harsh, but kind: it explains why so many ambitious “transformations” flame out. 3) Efficiency doesn’t save you (and sometimes consumes you) Now suppose you do manage to improve a system. You make it cheaper, faster, more efficient. Surely this reduces resource usage? Often, no. Jevons Paradox: efficiency increases total consumption When you make something more efficient, you often make people use more of it. Make lighting cheaper → people illuminate more spaces. Make driving more fuel-efficient → people drive farther. Make computing cheaper → people compute vastly more. Efficiency doesn’t always shrink the pie. It can expand it. This is one of the most important and least emotionally intuitive truths about progress: efficiency changes behavior. 4) Some things don’t get more efficient — and get expensive forever Now meet the mirror image of Jevons: not everything can get dramatically more productive. Some work is bottlenecked by time, humans, and attention. Baumol’s Cost Disease: sectors that don’t scale inflate A string quartet takes as long to play Beethoven as it did 200 years ago. A therapist can’t 10× their clients without breaking the thing. A teacher can’t “scale” classroom attention the way software scales distribution. Meanwhile, other industries do scale — manufacturing, computing, logistics. So as society grows richer, productivity sectors get cheaper and cheaper… and human-time sectors get relatively more expensive. That’s why: healthcare education legal services childcare eldercare …feel like they eat the world. Baumol isn’t “a problem to solve” so much as a physics constraint: certain value comes from human presence. And presence doesn’t compress easily. 5) The invisible accelerant: networks At this point you might feel like everything is doom and friction. It’s not. Some forces make systems wildly better as they grow. The biggest one is networks. Metcalfe’s Law: value scales with connections A phone is useless alone. A fax machine is useless alone. A social app is useless without other humans. As users increase, connections increase faster than users do. That creates accelerating value. Reed’s Law: groups scale even faster than connections But it’s not just one-to-one links. Once people can form groups — communities, coalitions, companies, subcultures — the number of potential groupings explodes. That’s Reed’s law: group-forming networks can scale with frightening speed. This is why networked platforms can go from “niche” to “dominant” almost overnight: the product isn’t just features — it’s the social graph. 6) Progress has a heartbeat: learning curves Not all progress comes from networks. Some comes from repetition. Wright’s Law: cost falls with cumulative production This is the law behind why solar, batteries, and manufacturing tech get cheaper and cheaper: Every doubling of cumulative production yields a predictable cost reduction. The implications are enormous: the future is shaped by what we manufacture at scale volume is not just output; it’s learning building the thing teaches you to build the thing better Strategy through Wright’s law becomes: maximize learning rate. Not “be brilliant,” but “iterate relentlessly.” 7) Cooperation is rare — and competition forces ugliness Now we move from economics into game theory and moral physics. Even with good metrics, good redesign, good scaling… Sometimes the system makes people do bad things. Prisoner’s Dilemma: defecting is rational If you and I cooperate, we both win. But if I suspect you might defect, I should defect first. So we both defect. We both lose. This structure appears everywhere: labor vs management nations vs nations companies vs companies roommates siblings Twitter discourse It’s tragedy-by-incentives. Moloch: the god of coordination failure “Moloch” is the poetic version of the same idea: systems where competition forces everyone into worse behavior, even if nobody wants it. No one wants the attention economy. But creators compete for attention. Platforms compete for engagement. So everyone converges on outrage and addiction. Moloch doesn’t need villains. It only needs incentives. 8) The biggest mistake smart people make: believing in averages Now we arrive at the statistical heart of why forecasts fail. Most planning assumes the world behaves like a bell curve: most outcomes are near the average, extremes are rare. In many domains, that’s false. Fat tails: extremes happen way more than you think In fat-tailed worlds, the “average” is a comforting lie. Outliers dominate: venture returns blockbuster movies bestselling authors company outcomes war and peace pandemics market crashes In a fat-tailed world: one event can erase ten years of progress or create it overnight Black swans: surprise + impact + fake hindsight A black swan isn’t just an outlier. It’s an outlier we didn’t know how to model. The signature of black swans is: huge impact surprise beforehand “it was obvious” afterward We are story machines. We can rationalize anything after it happens. Survivorship bias: you’re studying the winners This is why business advice is mostly nonsense. We read biographies of billionaires and imitate their habits — forgetting the cemetery of equally hardworking, equally smart people who lost. Survivorship bias turns randomness into “wisdom.” A good thinker always asks: what am I not seeing because it died? 9) The final set of tools: tradeoffs, simplicity, and time After you’ve internalized incentives, scaling, networks, and tail risk, you earn the right to something important: Less ideology. More judgment. That’s what these last lenses provide. Pareto efficiency: every improvement has a cost At some point, you stop making “free” gains and enter a world of tradeoffs. If you want more of A, you give up B. This is what breaks utopian thinking: more safety can mean less liberty more speed can mean less quality more fairness can mean less efficiency more growth can mean more inequality Smart people aren’t the ones who avoid tradeoffs. They’re the ones who name the tradeoff out loud. Occam’s Razor: don’t add gears without proof Now that you’re thinking in systems, you could easily overcomplicate. Occam is your brake pedal: prefer the simplest explanation that predicts. It’s not “simplicity is truth.” It’s: don’t hallucinate complexity. Lindy: time is the best filter we have In fragile worlds, “new” is often a synonym for “untested.” The Lindy effect says: the longer something has survived, the longer it’s likely to survive. Ideas, books, institutions, even practices: time is a stress test. Lindy isn’t anti-innovation. It’s pro-robustness. Comparative advantage: specialization beats self-reliance Finally, comparative advantage gives you the social version of Occam. Even if you’re worse at everything than someone else… trade can still make both better off, because efficiency comes from relative differences. That lens dissolves a lot of macho self-sufficiency myths. So what does this worldview do? It does three things. First: it replaces naive optimism with durable optimism Not “everything will work out.” But: we can build systems that don’t collapse under their own incentives. Second: it changes what you fear Not competitors. Not critics. Not even failure. You start fearing: bad metrics misaligned incentives brittle complexity tail risks coordination failure Which are the real predators. Third: it gives you a usable strategy A decision-making style that looks like this: Start simple (Gall) Measure carefully (Goodhart) Align incentives (principal–agent) Expect adaptation (cobra effect) Respect old constraints (Chesterton) Model scaling honestly (Metcalfe/Reed/Wright) Don’t assume efficiency saves you (Jevons/Baumol) Prepare for tails (fat tails / black swans) Don’t trust winner stories (survivorship bias) Name tradeoffs and keep models simple (Pareto + Occam + Lindy) That list is more than theory. It’s a survival kit for reality. Closing: the meta-law If I had to compress this entire worldview into one sentence, it would be: Outcomes come from incentives and scaling under uncertainty—not from intentions and plans. Most people live inside stories. This toolkit makes you live inside systems. And once you do, you become harder to fool — including by yourself.

The CIA's information war with American citizens and the operation that started it all. Project Mockingbird. This is one main aspect as to why people are so divided and brainwashed in today's society. Information has always been a crucial component to power and control. Knowledge is power, right? The only difference today from 40+ years ago is that now information flows at a rate that is absolutely mind-boggling and allows you to connect with anyone, at anytime, anywhere in the world, with real-time information 24/7 at your finger tips. So what happens when you have people who are suppose to be giving you accurate, truthful, information, and start to give you information that benefits, manipulates, and persuades the global population with mis and disinformation, protects certain corrupt people and groups by not reporting on other information, and who also lies and slanders other individuals all for the purpose to maintain power and control over the entire population, entirely on PURPOSE? You get what's called PROPAGANDA, aka, a sh*t show of so much purposeful bad and fake information, that it literally starts to persuade and mold the populations overall views and opinions on an array of various topics to fit the nefarious controllers, behind the scenes narrative or agenda. Ultimitely benefitting only them. If you take notice, these campaigns have been around for a long time, depending what side your on, your personal views and where you get your overall information will ultimately decide or be a factor of how much it has affected you or how much you are aware of the deception in the first place. Most legacy mainstream media groups are owned and operated by a small group of wealthy globalist individuals who seem to lean towards the left, and some leaning even farther left than others. These campaigns started to really pick up when Trump entered the picture in 2016. Trump was never suppose to win in the first place. Obama reinstated propaganda to be used on American citizens once again in 2013. The task to slander and attempt to destroy and imprison Trump through multiple operations and media campaigns were in full effect for the deep state to regain control of The White House. The group that these campaigns affected the most were the older groups and the younger groups. The people in the middle basically got to see both worlds play out in their lives at a crucial time period in their lives. They've seen the mainstream shift from what it once was, to an extreme lying, propaganda machine when Trump took office. The older aged crowd was so used to the regular nightly news and not as comfortable with newer technology to access alternative media sites and really just stuck with the mainstream's words and kept their faith in the MSM. Now the younger crowd literally grew up with the fully scripted, CIA, propaganda MSM because that is literally all they've ever known and haven't experienced anything else before or have anything to compare it to. Especially when your indoctrinated in a public school system that has been infiltrated itself with a majority of far-left teachers who usually end up being predators as well. That's a whole other story. The problem this CIA operation has caused was a population with people all in their own separate groups and boxes, fighting with each other over many things, instead of the people who started this mess in the first place, that aren't even true because one side has been lied to and manipulated. Brainwashed from a literal military style operation that's used to topple foreign countries during regime changes. And the worst part on top of all this is that know since Elon has started DOGE, a government efficiency operation, we are now uncovering that all these communist, Marxist, ideas, and operations and slander campaigns, and legal cases against Trump, down to these politicians luxurious lifestyles have been all funded and paid for by us, the TAXPAYERS. On the one example above, through USAID, there is proof of over $9 MILLION dollars that went to Reuters for a campaign named, " ACTIVE SOCIAL ENGINEERING DEFENSE LARGE SCALE SOCIAL DECEPTION," which is a definitive contract. There are thousands of examples just like this for all different companies, influencers, T.V. shows, Magazines, Articles, any type of media, and all of them are left leaning outlets. This has been going on for decades. Then on top off all of that, you have people who own these publishing and media companies who are not only getting paid by the taxpayers from the CIA to deceive us, but many of these owners are best friends with people like Jeffery Epstein and Ghislaine Maxell as you can also see above who is with Laurene Powell Jobs, the owner of "The Atlantic" publication, on vacation just hanging out. You wonder why the media never talks about child trafficking. Their paid to cover it up, or they're literally involved themselves... It just get's better and better. The good news is that it is now being exposed and shut down. Let's dive into the history of PROJECT MOCKINGBIRD now. The story of Project Mockingbird begins in the shadow of the Cold War, a period defined by ideological warfare between the United States and the Soviet Union. In the early 1960s, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), under the leadership of Director John McCone, launched a covert operation codenamed "Project Mockingbird." Unlike the broader, alleged "Operation Mockingbird" often cited in conspiracy circles as a sprawling media manipulation scheme, the historical Project Mockingbird was a specific, documented wiretapping effort aimed at curbing leaks of classified information. Initiated on March 12, 1963, and concluding on June 15, 1963, Project Mockingbird targeted two Washington-based journalists, Robert S. Allen and Paul J. Scott, who wrote the syndicated "Allen-Scott Report." These columnists had a knack for publishing articles laced with highly classified CIA details—information so sensitive it included Top Secret and Special Intelligence data. Their scoops, often sourced from government insiders, rattled the Kennedy administration, particularly after a July 26, 1962, New York Times article by Hanson Baldwin exposed details of a National Intelligence Estimate comparing U.S. and Soviet nuclear arsenals. President John F. Kennedy, incensed by such leaks, sought to plug the holes. The operation was a collaborative effort, greenlit by Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy, Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara, and Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency Joseph Carroll. The CIA’s Office of Security, led by Sheffield Edwards, executed the wiretapping, monitoring the journalists’ home and office phones. The surveillance results identified congressional sources, including then-Speaker of the House John McCormack, who spoke with Scott on March 26, 1963. The "Family Jewels"—a 1973 CIA document declassified in 2007—later exposed this operation, revealing its scope and raising questions about its legality. Daniel L. Pines, a CIA Assistant General Counsel, argued in a 2009 Indiana Law Journal review that the wiretapping likely violated legal bounds, as its primary aim was to trace leaks rather than gather foreign intelligence. This historical Project Mockingbird, though limited in duration and scope, planted a seed of distrust between the government, the press, and the public—a seed that would grow into a broader narrative of media manipulation. From Wiretaps to Media Empire While Project Mockingbird of 1963 was a discrete surveillance effort, it became conflated with a larger CIA program dubbed "Operation Mockingbird." This narrative emerged most prominently in Deborah Davis’s 1979 book, Katharine the Great, which claimed that the CIA, under Frank Wisner of the Office of Policy Coordination, had systematically infiltrated American media starting in the 1950s. Davis alleged that Wisner recruited Washington Post publisher Phil Graham to orchestrate a propaganda network, embedding CIA-friendly journalists in outlets like The New York Times, Newsweek, and CBS. Cord Meyer, a key CIA figure, was said to have taken the reins in 1951, expanding the operation’s reach. The Church Committee’s 1975-1976 investigation lent some credence to these claims, uncovering CIA ties to around 50 American journalists and covert funding of front groups like the National Student Association, exposed by Ramparts magazine in 1967. Carl Bernstein’s 1977 Rolling Stone article, "The CIA and the Media," further detailed how over 400 U.S. journalists had covertly worked with the CIA, often disseminating propaganda abroad that would then filter back to domestic audiences. the CIA admitted overreach. By 1976, under Director George H.W. Bush, the CIA publicly pledged to end paid relationships with U.S. journalists. Yet, skeptics argued the agency merely shifted tactics, maintaining influence through foreign media outlets that indirectly shaped American narratives. The line between historical fact and conspiracy theory blurred, setting the stage for modern reinterpretations of Mockingbird’s legacy. They claim. The Turning Point came in 2013 and the Smith-Mundt Modernization Act Fast forward to July 2, 2013, a date that marks a pivotal shift in the Mockingbird saga. Under President Barack Obama, the Smith-Mundt Modernization Act—embedded in the 2013 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA)—took effect. This legislation amended the U.S. Information and Educational Exchange Act of 1948, commonly known as the Smith-Mundt Act, which had long barred government-funded broadcasters like Voice of America (VOA) and Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty—overseen by the Broadcasting Board of Governors (now the U.S. Agency for Global Media, USAGM)—from disseminating their content domestically. The original intent was to prevent the U.S. government from propagandizing its own citizens, a safeguard rooted in post-World War II fears of authoritarian overreach. The 2013 amendment, co-sponsored by Representatives Adam Smith (D-WA) and Mac Thornberry (R-TX), lifted this restriction, allowing USAGM content to be requested and accessed by Americans. Proponents hailed it as a transparency win, arguing that taxpayers deserved to see what their dollars funded—news and programming in 61 languages, reaching over 100 countries. Critics, however, saw it as a Pandora’s box. Foreign Policy reported on July 14, 2013, that the change unleashed "thousands of hours per week of government-funded radio and TV programs for domestic U.S. consumption," raising fears of legalized propaganda. The timing was notable: it followed a decade of post-9/11 media scrutiny and preceded a surge in misinformation debates. in 2024 claimed "Operation Mockingbird never ended," tying the NDAA to a supposed CIA media takeover. No hard evidence supports a direct CIA role, but the legal shift undeniably blurred lines between foreign and domestic information flows. While the USAGM insists its mission remains outward-facing—delivering uncensored news to foreign audiences lacking free press—and that its journalists adhere to strict objectivity standards, the repeal stoked speculation. Could this be a modern resurrection of Mockingbird-style influence? The answer is yes. Most projects they say they stopped just get renamed or go black and off the books so Congress doesn't even know it exists or get access to it. Be careful what you read, who you follow, and who you get your information from. Look for patterns and scripts. They're easy to find once you understand what's really going on and their tactics and techniques. Keep asking questions, cross reference everything, do your due diligence, have multiple sources, do not buy everything at face value, go deeper, think about the bigger picture or long term goals. And always remember that there are layers, optics, and timing to everything you see. 90% of everything that comes out gets run by the intelligence agencies first. Lastly, keep fighting for the truth and and continue to help others to wake up as well.

‼️‼️ Many Germans still ignore President Putin's 2001 speech in front of the German Bundestag. They listen to the USA, which has always lied to them and even blew up their pipelines! The sanctions are NOT against Russia! They are against Germans! Wake up! In one of the most important and greatest speeches that the German Bundestag has ever experienced, President Vladimir Putin honestly and generously extended his hand to Germany and Europe for a peaceful and promising future in 2001. Unfortunately the West refused! President Putin speaks fluent German, by the way. President Putin: "Distinguished ladies and gentlemen, I have just talked about the unity of European culture. However, in the past that unity did not prevent two horrible wars from being unleashed on the continent, two world wars within one century. Nor did it prevent the building of the Berlin Wall, the formidable symbol of the deep division of Europe. The Berlin Wall is no longer. It was destroyed. And today it would be relevant to recall why that became possible. It is my conviction that the dramatic change in the world, in Europe and on the expanses of the former Soviet Union would have been impossible without the main preconditions, namely, without the events that took place in Russia ten years ago. These events are important to understanding what precisely took place in our country and what could be expected from Russia in the future. The answer is simple, as a matter of fact. Under the impact of the laws governing the development of information society, Stalinist totalitarian ideology could no longer oppose the ideas of freedom and democracy. The spirit of these ideas was taking hold of the overwhelming majority of Russian citizens. It was the political choice of the people of Russia that enabled the then leaders of the USSR to take decisions that eventually led to the razing of the Berlin Wall. It was that choice that infinitely broadened the boundaries of European humanism and that enables us to say that no one will ever be able to return Russia back into the past. As for European integration, we not just support these processes, but we are looking to them with hope. We view them as a people who have learned the lesson of the Cold War and the peril of the ideology of occupation very well. But here, I think, it would be pertinent to add that Europe did not gain from that division either. It is my firm conviction that in today's rapidly changing world, in a world witnessing truly dramatic demographic changes and an exceptionally high economic growth in some regions, Europe also has an immediate interest in promoting relations with Russia. No one calls in question the great value of Europe's relations with the United States. I am just of the opinion that Europe will reinforce its reputation of a strong and truly independent centre of world politics soundly and for a long time if it succeeds in bringing together its own potential and that of Russia, including its human, territorial and natural resources and its economic, cultural and defence potential. Together we have already taken the first steps in that direction. The time has now come to think about what should be done to make sure that a united and secure Europe becomes the harbinger of a united and secure world. Distinguished ladies and gentlemen, We have done a great deal in the security sphere over the past few years. The security system that we have built over the previous decades has been improved. One of the achievements of the past decade is the unprecedentedly low concentration of armed forces and armaments in Central Europe and the Baltic. Russia is a friendly European nation. Stable peace on the continent is a paramount goal for our country, which lived through a century of military catastrophes. As everyone knows, we have ratified the Comprehensive Nuclear Tests Ban Treaty, the Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty, the Biological Weapons Convention, and also the START-2 Treaty. Regrettably, not all the NATO countries have followed our example. But once we, distinguished ladies and gentlemen, have started to discuss security, we should first and foremost understand from whom we are to defend ourselves, and how. In this context I cannot but mention the catastrophe in the United States on September 11. People the world over keep asking how that could have happened and who is to blame. I will give you answers to these questions. I think we all are to blame for what happened, and first and foremost we, politicians, to whom the ordinary citizens of our nations have entrusted their security. And this happens first and foremost because we have so far failed to recognize the changes that have happened in our world over the past ten years and continue to live in the old system of values: we are talking about partnership, but in reality we have not yet learned to trust each other. In spite of a plethora of sweet words, we are still surreptitiously opposed to each other. Now we demand loyalty to NATO, now argue about the rationale behind its enlargement. And we are still unable to agree on the problems of a missile defence system. Over long decades of the 20th century the world was indeed living under conditions of confrontation between the two systems, confrontation that pushed humanity to the brink of annihilation on more than one occasion. That was so fearsome and we grew so accustomed to live with that anticipation of catastrophe that we are still unable to understand and appreciate the changes taking place in today's world. We seem to be missing the fact that the world is no longer divided into two hostile camps. The world has become far more complex, distinguished ladies and gentlemen. We do not want or are unable to understand that the security structure built over the previous decades that was effective in neutralizing former threats is no longer able to cope with new threats of today. Too often we continue to argue over issues which we think are still important. They probably still are. But at the same time we do not recognize new real threats and turn out to be unable to foresee terrorist attacks – and so ruthless terrorist attacks at that! Hundreds of innocent civilians died in the bombing of residential houses in Moscow and other large Russian cities. Religious fanatics, having captured power in Chechnya and having turned ordinary citizens into their hostages, mounted a brazen large-scale armed attack against the neighboring Republic of Daghestan. International terrorists have openly – quite openly – declared their intention to establish a fundamentalist state on the territory between the Black and the Caspian Sea – the so-called khalifate, or the United States of Islam. I would like to stress right away that talking about any ”war between civilizations“ is inadmissible. It would be a mistake to put the equation mark between Moslems in general and religious fanatics. In our country, for example, the defeat of the aggressors in 1999 was predetermined by the courageous and tough rebuff of the residents of Daghestan, a Russian republic the population of which is virtually 100 percent Moslem. Shortly before my departure for Berlin I met with the religious leaders of Russia's Moslems. They came up with the initiative of convening an international conference on ”Islam Against Terrorism“ in Moscow. I think we should support this initiative. Today we are coming up against not so much the aggravation of the well-known international problems as the rise of new threats. Russia is taking practical steps to put up, together with some CIS nations, a real barrier in the way of the traffic of drugs, organized crime and fundamentalism from Afghanistan via Central Asia and the Caucasus into Europe. Terrorism, national intolerance, separatism and religious extremism everywhere have the same roots and bear the same poisonous fruit. That is why the methods of fighting these problems should be universal as well. But first agreement needs to be reached on the fundamental matter: we should not be afraid of calling a spade a spade. And it is extremely important to understand that evil deeds cannot be used to achieve political objectives, however noble such objectives may seem. Naturally, evil must be punished, and I agree with that. But we should also understand that no retaliatory strikes will replace comprehensive, purposeful and well-coordinated struggle against terrorism. I absolutely agree with the US President on that. I think our partners' readiness to joint efforts in countering real rather than illusory threats will demonstrate how serious and reliable they are as partners. These threats are quite capable of spilling over from the distant frontiers of our continent to the very heart of Europe. I talked about that on more than one occasion, but after what happened in the US there is no need to prove anything. But what are we lacking today for cooperation to be efficient? In spite of all the positive achievements of the past decades, we have not yet developed an efficient mechanism for working together. The coordinating agencies set up so far do not offer Russia real opportunities for taking part in drafting and taking decision. Today decisions are often taken, in principle, without our participation, and we are only urged afterwards to support such decisions. After that they talk again about loyalty to NATO. They even say that such decisions cannot be implemented without Russia. Let us ask ourselves: is this normal? Is this true partnership? Yes, the assertion of democratic principles in international relations, the ability to find a correct decision and readiness for compromise are a difficult thing. But then, it was the Europeans who were the first to understand how important it is to look for consensus over and above national egoism. We agree with that! All these are good ideas. However, the quality of decisions that are taken, their efficiency and, ultimately, European and international security in general depend on the extent to which we succeed today in translating these obvious principles into practical politics. It seemed just recently that a truly common home would shortly rise on the continent, a home in which the Europeans would not be divided into eastern or western, northern or southern. However, these divides will remain, primarily because we have never fully shed many of the Cold War stereotypes and cliches. Today we must say once and for all: the Cold War is done with! We have entered a new stage of development. We understand that without a modern, sound and sustainable security architecture we will never be able to create an atmosphere of trust on the continent, and without that atmosphere of trust there can be no united Greater Europe! Today we must say that we renounce our stereotypes and ambitions and from now on will jointly work for the security of the people of Europe and the world as a whole. Dear friends, Today, thank God, Russia is talked about in Europe not only in the context of oligarchs, corruption and Mafia. However, there still is a substantial lack of objective information about Russia. I can say with absolute confidence that the key goal of Russia's domestic policy is first and foremost to ensure democratic rights and freedoms, decent living standards and safety for the people of the country. However, distinguished colleagues, let us look back at some events of the recent past. Russia took the painful road of reform. The scope of the tasks we had to address is without parallel in history. Naturally, mistakes were made. Not all the problems have been resolved, but today Russia is a quite dynamic part of the European continent. Moreover, it is dynamic not only politically, but also economically, which is especially encouraging. Political stability in Russia is ensured by a number of economic factors, not the least by one of the world's most liberal taxation systems. Our income tax is 13% and profit tax 24%, and this is real. Last year our economic growth was 8%. This year we expected to get just 4%, but most likely we will have about 6% — say, 5.5–5.7%. We will wait and see. At the same time my conviction is that only large-scale and equal pan-European cooperation will make it possible to achieve qualitative progress in resolving such problems as unemployment, environmental pollution and many others. We are set on close trade and economic cooperation. In the nearest future we intend to join the World Trade Organization. We count on international and European organizations' support for our bid. I would like to draw your attention to things which you as members of parliament will undoubtedly be able to appreciate better and which cannot be dismissed as propaganda. As a matter of fact, our nation has gone through a revision of priorities and values. Spending on social needs tops the 2002 consolidated budget. And I would like to stress specifically that for the first time in Russia's history spending on education has exceeded defence expenditures. Distinguished colleagues, Permit me to say a couple words about Russian-German relations. I would like to dwell separately on this matter. Russian-German relations are as old as our nations. The first German tribes appeared on Russian territory in the late first century. In the late 19th century Germans were the ninth most numerous ethnic group in Russia. But what is important is not just the numbers, but the role played by these people in the development of the country and in Russian-German relations. They were peasants and merchants, intellectuals, military men and politicians. The German historian Michael Stuermer observed: ”Russia and America are divided by oceans, while Russia and Germany are divided by a great history.“ I would say that history, just like oceans, not only divides, but also unites. The important thing is to correctly interpret this history. As a good neighbor in the West, Germany often symbolized for the Russians Europe, European culture, technical intellect and entrepreneurial wit. Small wonder that in the past all Europeans were known as Germans in Russia, and the Europeans' settlement in Moscow was known as the German Village. Naturally, the cultural influences of the two peoples were reciprocal. Many generations of Germans and Russians studied and continue to enjoy works by Goethe, Dostoyevsky and Leo Tolstoy. Our peoples understand each other's mentality very well, as is amply evidenced by the marvelous Russian translations of German authors. They closely replicate the text and keep the pace of the narration and the mood and beauty of the original. One example is the translation of Doctor Faustus by Boris Pasternak. Ladies and gentlemen, There are different pages in our history, some of them rather painful, especially those relating to the 20th century. But in the past we often acted as allies. The relations between the two European nations were every now and then reinforced by marital unions between dynasties. Generally, women had a special role to play in our history. let us recall, for example, the daughter of the Grand Duke Ludwig IV of Hessen-Darmstadt, known in Russia as Princess Elizabeth. Following the assassination of her husband, she founded a nunnery, and during World War I she nursed wounded soldiers, both Russians and Germans. In 1918 she was executed by the Bolsheviks, but recently she was rehabilitated and sanctified for everyone to honor. A monument to her stands in the heart of Moscow today. Nor should we forget Princess Sophia Augusta Frederika of Anhalt-Zerbst, who made a unique contribution to Russian history. Ordinary Russians called her Mother, but she went down in history as Russian Empress Catherine the Great. Today's Germany is Russia's leading economic partner, our most important creditor, one of the principal investors and a key interlocutor in discussing international politics. I will give you one example: last year trade between our countries hit an all-time record of 41.5 billion marks. This compares with the Soviet Union's aggregate trade with both German states. Can we be happy with this and sit back and relax? I don't think so. Russian-German cooperation still has sufficient potentialities for development. I am convinced that today we are turning over a new page in our bilateral relations, thereby making our joint contribution to building a common European home. In conclusion I would like to say the words that were once used to characterize Germany and its capital. I would like to apply this idea to Russia and say: of course, we are at the beginning of the road to building a democratic society and a market economy. There are barriers and obstacles on that road that we are to surmount. However, if we leave aside objective problems and occasional ineptness of our own, we will see the beat of Russia's strong, live heart. And this heart is open to true cooperation and partnership."
