Weeks ago the kids came home from a friends with these chips from Trader Joe’s. They freshly opened them and found a chicken bone inside the bag. It’s been weeks of back and forth with TJs communicating and they tried to tell us it’s just a bunch of rolled up chips. 🤣- either way, we are just trying to help them by asking them to check any other bags from assembly. Now they want us to send it all back, which we are, but I wanted to document my little chicken bone friend one last time before we say goodbye.

And while today you’ll probably see another round of scary posts about design being eaten by GPT Image 2.0, remember: there are still companies willing to pay a lot for branding done by humans with taste. Those humans may use AI. AI may help speed things up. But it’s still just a tool - and like any tool, you need to learn how to use it.

Making smart glasses frames was way harder than I thought. Here's what I learned: Materials matter. You can't use normal plastic, because it has to be light and safe to touch your face So we chose TR90 plastic that's made for eyewear Fake gray-market TR90 plastic is common in China. You gotta go to the source and make sure your TR90 is legit Glue is so important. If you put too much glue it will give issues, and add weight. Too little glue, won't stick. That's why it's better for a robot to do it (VIDEO) If the glue doesn't match the material perfectly, then it won't stick. So we tried like 4 glues to get the best one for our smart glasses You design the frame in 3D and then make a tool. A tool is just a metal mold that is shaped like the glasses. You put a bunch of melted plastic (TR90) in the tool, let it cool, and out pops the glasses frame. Do that 10,000 times Tooling leaves seams in the frame, so we figured out where to put the seam so it doesn't cut into your ear when you wear it Obviously this all must be super lightweight because the electronics are heavy The camera needs a certain perspective, so the glasses frame angles the camera down to capture hands in videos Throughout the design process, you can't sacrifice style And now our Mentra Live frames are born

Are we FOR REAL with the shockwave on the bus when we're all trying to extract? Like bro WHY?! I'm tired of this toxic bus etiquette in Fortnite. Like yeah I GET IT it's a Battle Royale game. BUT if we're forced to do this Victory Bus Royale why not just be cool and let everyone get the win? New rule: If there's no bus play out the match and may the best player win. Israeli extremists have attacked the West Bank village of Ma'aleh. They burned cars, homes, and physically attacked residents by throwing stones. 3 Palestinians were reportedly killed. Listen, I get that it's hard. I'm posting this with the full knowledge that the people who hate me will read it with glee. But we can't stop calling out the violent sect of our people, even if the world will use it as ammo against all Israelis. We must show our moral clarity. These actions are, by definition, terrorism; they are meant to terrorize a population. I want Israel to survive, but I also want it to be a country I can be proud of. Letting these hateful radicals get away with violence is unacceptable. And I know there are many others like me, horrified by this news, but scared that calling it out will just make the abuse we face all the worse. We can’t let fear make us ignore our morals.
