This match is amazing because holy shit kobashi does like five moves but because of the pacing, character work, and joe being top 5 guys to do it ever it’s a constant rewatch. And this is not a slight to kobashi, his generalship and ability to gain/lose momentum is masterful.

This match shows how Joe since rookie days was incredible and continues to be

The fucking sweat blasting off of Kobashi as Joe rearranges his chests only for Kobashi to barely even flinch at the impact then he charges up for his final flurry that finally puts Joe down. Such good storytelling it's so simple but you learn so much about the two from just that
