ALERT: Mother smashed the window of a school bus and crawled through the window after the driver wouldn't let the kids out in California. Students on a Calaveras Unified school bus were stuck for about an hour after rowdy kids forced the bus driver to stop and call law enforcement. A 12-year-old student on the bus said, "Everybody was screaming and stuff because they were excited to get off the bus.” During the screaming, another student crawled out of the window, causing the driver to stop the bus and say, “Sit down, roll up the windows,” as they waited for law enforcement. Nichole Wellington said her son called her, scared, and that after arriving, he was still not allowed off the bus; she advised him to escape through the window as well. Rebecca Glover, another parent, thought the opposite and told her kids to remain seated, since the bus driver was trying to keep them safe. The Calaveras County Sheriff's Office said, "During the incident, the parent struck the bus door, breaking the glass. The parent was ultimately taken into custody at the School District's request for vandalism."

But we had never thought that this could happen to our vehicle. We used to hear of things like this in Kashmir but this area was safe. We never thought that this could happen to us. A bus travelling from Accra to Nkwawkaw was sprayed with bullets at Akyem Enyiresi at about 11 p.m. yesterday while attempting to flee from armed robbers. According to the driver of another bus, the robbers stopped them and demanded their phones, which they handed over. However, the driver of the bullet-riddled bus was unaware of what was happening and, upon arriving at the scene, reversed after encountering the robbery. The robbers then opened fire on the bus, but the driver managed to escape the scene, with no fatalities reported.
