However, watu si wajinga! Why is it that the bus doesn't have a number plate? How comes the passengers are coming out systematically with no casualties? How comes all the passengers were young men. No single lady. Kwani It's a school bus from JKUAT? How was the bus parked there with no fuel? Watch keenly and you will see that it is only two people who did not have the script. Students on a Calaveras Unified school bus were stuck for about an hour after rowdy kids forced the bus driver to stop and call law enforcement. A 12-year-old student on the bus said, "Everybody was screaming and stuff because they were excited to get off the bus.” During the screaming, another student crawled out of the window, causing the driver to stop the bus and say, “Sit down, roll up the windows,” as they waited for law enforcement. Nichole Wellington said her son called her, scared, and that after arriving, he was still not allowed off the bus; she advised him to escape through the window as well. Rebecca Glover, another parent, thought the opposite and told her kids to remain seated, since the bus driver was trying to keep them safe. The Calaveras County Sheriff's Office said, "During the incident, the parent struck the bus door, breaking the glass. The parent was ultimately taken into custody at the School District's request for vandalism."

But we had never thought that this could happen to our vehicle. We used to hear of things like this in Kashmir but this area was safe. We never thought that this could happen to us. As soon as the bus left in the morning, we received a call at 5 o'clock that there had been firing on our vehicle...When we did a little investigation, we came to know that it was an attack by militants...Passengers told us that the militant got into the bus and told the driver to make the passengers deboard the bus. Driver sensed that the man was a militant. He refused to make the passengers deboard, he sped up the bus. As soon as he sped up the bus, the militant fired a bullet. According to the driver of another bus, the robbers stopped them and demanded their phones, which they handed over. However, the driver of the bullet-riddled bus was unaware of what was happening and, upon arriving at the scene, reversed after encountering the robbery. The robbers then opened fire on the bus, but the driver managed to escape the scene, with no fatalities reported.
