One loosely put subpar expansion won’t deter me from years of amazing storytelling and expansions overall. That said, hesitation is never a bad thing especially when Dawntrail’s writing wasn’t all there. And to me, if you’re going to make a Final Fantasy, you best make sure the story is of the highest quality it can be.

When your character stands up and looks Emet right in the face and basically says "Fuck you.", then the portals blast open around them, holy shit, haha. It feels SO good.
