#FFXIVmod POV+ : First Person Camera Plugin - Had to do quite a bit to get camera pitch working and I don't have dragoon high enough to do flips on (Yet), so take Machinist flips instead - Still a lot of glitches to iron out but its getting there!

The term "markerless" gets thrown around a lot in motion capture. What does it mean? Well...surprise! There are still markers (we put them on you instead of you getting in a suit) When we capture motion from your videos, we still need to estimate important landmarks, we've just built a way to do it on a web camera instead of a $100k mocap stage. Multi person + scale aware with extremely good camera pose estimation. Try it out and let me know what you think

As many of you know, we pulled a lot of inspiration from Seleka and Manaka, so when we started development, we adopted Seleka’s camera, since Manaka wasn’t out yet. As a result, we currently have two camera modes: left click moves the camera without moving Moeka, and right click moves the camera along with her. Our plan is to eventually rework this and “mix” both into a single system, but I’m not sure if that’ll happen before the first tech demo is out. We are, however, planning to add a first-person camera. I played Manaka mostly in first person and loved it 🤣

"IMPROVED" STW FIRST PERSON MODE IS SITTING IN PURGATORY It looks quite smoothed out (also quite buggy) STW used to have a 1st person camera before it got removed during v28.10, as Epic used STW's 1st person for UEFN during ch4 & ch5, breaking it, and removing it Gameplay below: Recently I managed to enable the STW first person camera for short range. Unlike Ballistic / UEFN first person camera which changes how weapon held meshes work and the camera position, this version of STW first person heavily relies on camera position alone so that Epic didn't have to redo over 200 different separate items. It is a quicker more "global fix" for how weapons and consumables look like while interacting with the world and the client itself. There's also quite expected bugs for a feature which has been scrapped / sitting in purgatory for nearly 3 years, which has to do with how the player body looks like during camera movements and certain movement animations. I am unsure when this change was implemented to first person, but my guess is around almost 2 years ago once Ballistic released. For a purged feature, I'd say it has a 65% (optimistically 70%) smoothed out rate but there's plenty of bugs and unlikely that this will get released anytime soon so I'm posting it as an update for what state first person currently is in.
