Bring us one to Ukraine to test. Otherwise the system is basically just a fancy video and a deck of slides.

The proliferation of fiber-optic guided UAS represents a major shift in drone warfare and exposes a growing operational gap for counter-UAS defenses — one that Leonidas is designed to address and close. Read more:

This is a size of a truck itself, unable to maneuver and range is in big question. Dead by concept.

Let me guess. 50kW generator, long recharge time. Range of 1-2 km. Quite useful in a safe zone but will burn out all friendly sensors and electronics. So not sure that it is really useful in a war.

300$ drone(s) would easily disable your 1000000$ equipment. Not worth it sorry.

What's the best way to get one of my drones shot at by your system?

The intro video is a bad example. I doubt this is feasible to follow and protect a single tank. Maybe defending something static or a high value vehicle but surely not one per tank until they’re small enough to be mounted to the tank itself?

How about tens of thousands of fiber optic drones per month

Great, now show it work on a drone moving at 150 km/h chasing some random target instead of conveniently stationary hovering in front of your device.

It looks a bit slow and easily identified. Can it handle 4 fiber drones approaching from 4 directions?

they way you use the world "relevant range" instead out the actual number is a proof that's the system isn't as reliable as the conventional laser

The problem is not in creating this technology, but in rapidly scaling it up and creating thousands of such products.

Interesting, I am assuming the electromagnetic field interference would interrupt the electric motors of the craft. Photons in the laser optics would most likely be unaffected I like it can I borrow one for a drone show it’s going to be awesome 🤣
