“Sophie Night” Takes Over Dallas Wings WNBA Game as MASSES of Women Rally in Support of Sophie Cunningham and “No Men in Women’s Sports” A group of conservative women have followed the Indiana Fever on the road to hold rallies outside WNBA arenas in support of keeping men out of women’s sports and backing Sophie Cunningham. Yesterday, Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick and Attorney General Ken Paxton were in attendance. This is how we win—by peacefully protesting and showing support for those who have the courage to stand up for truth, reality, and biology. The WNBA is NOT stopping this movement... 🔥 Texas Values (text txvalues to 797979 for update)

When the WNBA began, it celebrated women. Today, players like Sophie Cunningham are attacked for defending fairness and standing up for women and girls. I am proud to stand with Jennifer Sey in speaking out for women's sports. We won’t stop fighting.

UNREAL🚨 The WNBA and NBC Sports just ran a report at the Fever Game taking shots at Sophie Cunningham and Enes Kanter Freedom. "There were demonstrators outside before tonight's game. This after Sophie Cunningham voiced support for limiting the eligibility of transgender women in female sports. " "Of course, the WNBA saying that they strongly denounce the bad-faith efforts to use this topic to demean and marginalize others." Is this a freaking joke?! How low can this league go?

I was outside State Farm Arena for the Indiana Fever vs Atlanta Dream game when I spotted a protect women’s sports rally. Athletes and fans showed up for Sophie Cunningham. One of the women I interviewed told me she lost to a biological male in pro women’s golf. She came out to stand with Sophie. Real women aren’t staying quiet anymore.

Several girl athletes from Central Washington showed up to support Sophie Cunningham. They do not want boys in girl’s sports and were happy to have an adult female professional athlete support the idea of female only sports.

Sophie Cunningham supporters line the streets outside Seattle's Climate Pledge Arena holding "Save Women's Sports" signs and chanting in support of the Indiana Fever star after her comments on transgender athletes competing in women's sports. Counter-protesters gather nearby, creating a tense scene before tipoff as both sides face off outside the arena. During the game, Cunningham was loudly booed by portions of the crowd nearly every time she touched the ball.

"Security: Take the trash out." That's what a Seattle Storm fan was heard yelling at teenage Sophie Cunningham fans. The WNBA team's co-owner is also alleged to have berated the girls wearing XX-XY Athletics shirts and carrying handmade signs thanking Cunningham for her recent statement in support of women's sports. Co-owner Celeste Keaton allegedly approached the girls, yelled at them, and called them "f---ing insane." Before the game, Sophie Cunningham supporters held a rally outside the arena — then allegedly faced shocking hostility, with fans in attendance relentlessly booing Cunningham from the moment she touched the ball. The Storm provided a statement to Fox News Digital apologizing for the co-owner's conduct: "We apologize that this happened. Everyone who attends a Storm game deserves to feel welcome."

🚨 “SOPHIE NIGHT” RALLIES PLANNED IN PORTLAND AND MINNEAPOLIS Pro-women’s sports activists are organizing rallies this weekend at WNBA games in Portland and Minneapolis to support Sophie Cunningham. The move comes after the Indiana Fever guard stood firm against biological males in women’s sports, and after two 16-year-old fans were cursed out by a Seattle Storm co-owner simply for wearing shirts supporting that position. One of the teens has now spoken publicly: “We were shocked… she just kind of cussed out two 16-year-olds that were just trying to have fun. We were just trying to support Sophie.” The co-owner was fined and suspended for five home games but has not issued an apology. Cunningham’s response throughout has remained calm and consistent: protect girls’ sports, and you can disagree without being cruel. The fan base is answering with their presence.

WATCH: CBS Evening News with Tony Dokoupil covers the suspension of the Seattle Storm co-owner for yelling at young Sophie Cunningham fans wearing XY gear. The Media Hall Monitors will seethe. MATT GUTMAN: Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham is making news off the court tonight for her recent comments about transgender athletes in women's sports. Cunningham's views helped build her fan base, but now a WNBA team co-owner is in trouble for confronting some of those very fans. CBS’s Jan Crawford reports. ANNOUNCER: Up the floor. Cunningham! Paint it! CRAWFORD: At Tuesday night's WNBA game between the Indiana Fever and Seattle Storm, the focus was on the sidelines. Two teens holding signs thanking Fever guard Sophie Cunningham for speaking up for girls and wearing t-shirts made by a company that advocates for same-sex sports. They were confronted by a Storm co-owner. YOUNG FAN: Yeah, and she's like, “I hope Jesus can forgive you for what sin you’ve done” and like, something like that, and then she told us we were acting effing insane. CRAWFORD: The WNBA fined and suspended the co-owner, Celeste Keaton, five games. The team said it respected the league's decision and the team's majority owner apologized. Cunningham, known for fearlessly defending teammate Caitlin Clark on the court, is the first active professional female athlete to speak out against transgender females in women's sports. In an ESPN profile earlier this month, Cunningham says girls in sports shouldn't have to go against biological men. SOPHIE CUNNINGHAM: I said what I said. I think it's kind of common sense. And I think I'll always believe in that. CRAWFORD: When asked if her words could be seen as anti-transgender, she said... CUNNINGHAM: I have never once said I hated the trans community. Like I said, I think there's space for everyone. CRAWFORD: Before the game, Storm player Stephanie Dolson made her feelings clear with a t-shirt saying, "Trans rights are human rights." Outside the arena, Cunningham supporters like advocate Julie Lane said they hope the moment is a turning point. JULIE LANE: So we’re not stopping. We really hope that other people will join in and just say what’s out- say out loud what is common sense, just like Sophie did. CRAWFORD: They plan another rally before the Fever's next game in Portland. Jan Crawford, CBS News, Washington.

Student athlete Ahnaleigh Wilson of Wenatchee was one of the young fans who faced an obscene tirade at a Seattle Storm-Indiana Fever game - for showing up to thank Sophie Cunningham for defending women's sports. I spoke with her and her parents exclusively when filling in on Katie Pavlich Tonight.

Jen Sey is leading the next Sophie Cunningham rally in the fraud-infested blue stronghold of Minneapolis tomorrow. She and other women's sports activists, including Kim Jones, Stephanie Turner, Kaylie Ray and Ainsley Erzen, had some nice things to say about how the WNBA has handled the convergence with the "Save Women's Sports" movement in recent weeks. Still, they all want to see more.

It takes real courage for an athlete in her prime like Sophie Cunningham to speak the truth about men in women’s sports. We need more athletes like Sophie who are willing to stand for truth and fewer like Megan Rapinoe who are focused on spouting off woke talking points.
