I’m seriously thinking about buying two huge junk cars and parking them across from each other in front of my house to accomplish the same goal.

don’t narrow roads or make anti-cycling pinchpoints. slow cars by enforcing speed limits (lower them where appropriate) & speed tables. using bikelanes to narrow roads makes passes from cars closer bc all bikelanes become gritgutters

Like they invented something which is being done in Europe for decades. Problem is it only makes sense if you have sufficient non car traffic to merit the slow down

This is extremely poor judgement and disproportionally harms poor people, who can't afford to repar their cars. A smarter choice would be to make the roads curved, pave then woth a rougher surface like brick, etc. ST has some good research but their proposed solutions are bad
