Fighting disinformation whenever we encounter it means protecting our democracy. Watch my speech in the European Parliament here:

@Europarl_EN I presume you’ll be tackling @rodericogorman then Michael? No I thought not. How about RTE? Nope! What disinformation are you planning to fight?

@Europarl_EN It takes a brass neck indeed to pontificate to the EP on "disinformation," after presiding over two referendums in March where the public was told by Irish ministers the AG had no problem with them, only to find afterwards he'd warned about the law changes they'd necessitate. 😠

💪If you're seeing this, it must mean you support Trump. 👏 Let us help you show it. ✅ Classic, Tough, Real American Gear Here:

@Europarl_EN With the exception of FFG members and our PR agency RTE of course, who must put out disinformation on key policies, during referendum, elections etc. in order to control the narrative. This is an essential feature of our democracy.

@Europarl_EN RTE!? 😂

@Europarl_EN Who protects us when you are the source of disinformation?

@Europarl_EN From the regime that suddenly considered borders meaningless, that men could magically be women and that forcing people to inject defective drugs was a good thing. These men and women are not on your side. #GetThemOut

Michael, if you're accusing your colleagues in the European Parliament of spreading disinformation, isn't that a failure of leadership? If they aren't trusted by their own peers, how can the public be expected to trust them? Shouldn't we consider replacing them? After all, if even their colleagues question their integrity, how can they be seen as credible judges of disinformation?

- you spread blatant disinformation on @CorksRedFM - a radio station for which you had been the financial controller - so no push back expected from there. On being approached in person, you denied that you had spread said disinformation, but now rather brazenly & with the greatest brass neck considering your exalted new role, you claim to be wedded to “fighting disinformation”. What has changed? Should we be concerned that there is a risk that, rather than fighting disinformation, you may spread it again, but this time to a much larger audience? @BlowersIreland @WhistleIRL @rte @RTE_PrimeTime #UlsterBankfrauds

@Europarl_EN EU did not respect Irish vote on Lisbon and Nice. Did not respect recent Romainian election. Wants to sanction Georgia for "voting wrong". But welcomes Al Qaeda taking over Syria. GFY

@Europarl_EN The EU loves disinformation. #EUBenefits
