Fighting Dragon-Tooth Warriors 🐲☠️ - Valkyrie Profile (PS1)

I am still VERY livid and disappointed that Square-Enix still has not released an HD remaster of Valkyrie Profile for current consoles. It and Xenogears NEED HD remasters ASAP imo

Come to me, my noble Einherjar! Such a beautiful game.

I can’t remember what other game came out the same day at this on ps1 and I was at the store grabbing that when I bought this as an impulse. It’s still a prize piece to my gaming collection

Nibelung Valesti!

"These beasts are much too dangerous"

Gosh this game was so fun

I always like playing this and the second game.

PSX was the house of terrific jRPGs

Both the ps1 and ps2 had great rpgs

Traveling through the caves was some of the scariest things for me playing this game. Never knowing when there'd be a party wipe or if I'd be safe to travel on through. I think it was caves anyways. All the death was kinda sad too 😢

At this time square is the greatest video game storyteller of all time 🙏

I remember playing this game as a kid and every time my weapons would break I thought the game glitched so I would reload to a previous save file

Nibelung Valesti was so satisfying.

Fun fact about dragon and other racial enemies. If you use the "-killer" weapons, those with breaking %, they can't break if you kill the enemies with it, because the battle ends.

The game was a huge pos. Don’t let this let clip fool you. Utter super suck fest. Screw this game. I played the whole thing and I hate my life for it.

I always wondered is this action or turn based ?

Jo-DER qué bien se tiene que ver esto en mi CRT

Beautiful

The way this game made me feel as a kid is impossible to put into words. The story wasn’t just good, it was unforgettable. A masterpiece.

Every einherjar in this game felt more personal compared to Silmeria (their stories, individual PWS etc). The story was also more engaging. I wonder if the team was different between the two games.

@FfMeryll

What a game.
