Crimson Desert previews are here and overall, content creators are impressed with the game: - Open world is gorgeous, the game ran remarkably well on this PC build with no FPS drops (7900XTX GPU), the draw distance is insane - Crimson Desert does not hold your hand, there are genuinely difficult puzzles and no yellow paint to guide you, with a ton of mechanics in combat and exploration that all come together and are up to the player to use - Every single questline's cutscenes are motion captured and animated, it does not use generic animations (at least for main quests) - MMO roots from Black Desert are obvious, the skill tree is deeply involved and each build feels entirely unique - Combat is reportedly "really good" with a ton of complex mechanics and great animations - NPCs don't have schedules like a Kingdom Come 2 or Skyrim, they are mostly static but they will react to your actions and there is a full crimes system that you can mess with - You can set arrows on fires by aiming towards any source of fire then shooting, this is used in environmental puzzles. Another way to set things on fire is by pressing down both bumpers which causes Kliff to hold up his sword to reflect the sun's light onto things to set them on fire - Quest givers will contact you by sending a bird with a letter, this will happen naturally in the open world - Exploration is fantastic, each location is entirely unique and you can utilize all the different abilities in unique ways, for example you can launch yourself across a wall OR use a dragon to fly in OR climb it - Boss fights are very advanced, each one is unique with their design and movesets - Side Quests and Random Events are fun, some are as small as rescuing a cat from a rooftop, others are more major storylines - Some quest bugs were seen, but no optimization issues, when they were switched to an Endgame save, many reported a higher number of bugs and glitches but nothing game-breaking. - There are combat finishers and they are unique for each weapon type - Combos are available and they are unique for every single weapon type, there are many button combinations to apply these in combat - Some content creators complained that the puzzles were too confusing as they utilize a very specific ability at times and its hard to keep track of all the abilities that you have - You can buy food or cook it, or hunt and sell that meat - Content creators all loved it, they played 6+ hours and had fun, saying that they just want to play more afterwards - Controls however are described as complex and may be clunky as there are a many button combinations for unique actions It seems like Crimson Desert is shaping up to be a genuinely great game, we are yet to see console footage but if the amazing optimization for PC is anything to go by, we likely have little to worry about. Crimson Desert is dropping on March 19th, I cannot wait!

Everyone has been sharing mixed opinions about Vesper as the new DA boss in Zenless. Today was my first time fighting her (haven't finished the story). Originally I hated this boss and thought it was dick (the fight not the actual boss). My first run was a collection of 8-12k scores. I read the boss guide but still didn't understand how to fight her. Within the hour I spent time learning which moves I could block, parry, hard counter, flinch, etc. and increased my score by 2x. Below I'll try to give a TLDR of my thoughts, but 2 videos will release next week going in full detail. TLDR of what I learned from this experience? - Anyone complaining about this boss is 101% justified. For once, it's not a "learn the game" situation. Will that help? Absolutely, but there's a bigger problem here. - Vesper isn't an Aria-only boss. I understand why some would think that, but it's not true. She's an Abloom boss. This boss is designed around Agents that abuse Abloom, and the closest thing to that is Hypercarry AM-teams, which Anomaly is not traditionally built to do. - The problem is the game (aka Devs) have not properly equipped the general player base to handle them dropping a boss like this out of nowhere. There are only 3 Abloom focused Agents in the game. 1 is a Sub-DPS. 1 is a Standard S-Rank. 1 is Resisted. None of them are A-Ranks or easily accessible to most players. - We realistically only have 7 Agents out of the entire roster that have a "positive matchup" against Vesper (pre-Aria). All 7 don't work together btw. - Grace is nutty against this boss.

It has been a month and y'all are not only hung up, but STILL misunderstanding the entire depth argument. Then enter my domain of fighting games for a comparison?? Let's break it down for Wuwa players as this is the last time I'm speaking on this, cause atp I'm just gonna assume it's some kind of mental illness. The pinnacle of skill, the HIGHEST form of mastery in Wuthering Waves, is solo Danjin. You're own community worships them as gods because you lack the skill to consistently react to a bosses moveset even if you already memorized it. Guess what you do as solo Danjin? Dodge and parry. That is the ONLY mechanic in the enitre game that matters. Everything else as you and myself have said is COMPLEXITY. Elements, kits, rotations, etc, DO NOT change how the game is played. You brought up SF to discredit my argument, using "press buttons and memorizing" as a defense. When ANYBODY in the FGC knows that just memorizing combos is easy af and is the skillfloor of almost every casual player, right next to SP spam. Yet in Wuthering Waves, it is worshipped as the most skillful thing in the game to memorize the enemy moves and beat them without being hit on a character that does the same attack string over and over. Corner pressure, meaty, hard knockdown, restand, jailing, mix-ups, wake ups, delays, resets, and many more terms are used in the FGC because there is SO much more depth than just "memorizing the combo" it is why many characters can go from F tier to S+ must pick by simply understanding how to abuse aspects of their kits to completely change how others would normally interact with them. The only people who genuinely think Wuwa is hard or "high skill" are people who lack skill in general which is why they only play gacha games designed to have flashy, piss easy combat to keep players from leaving so they spend more. And that goes for EVERY GACHA. You can beat EVERYTHING IN WUWA with 1 character if you just memorize the moves. You will beat 0 even slightly competent players in any fighting game if all you did was lab 3 or 4 combos. I encourage not just Wuwa, but gacha players to actually play other games before engaging in a conversation they can't even grasp that they start talking about a completely different subject.

In Set 9, I was Top 10 in BoxBox Bootcamp. There were 36 minutes until elimination, and I only needed 5 LP (a 4th) to make it to the cutoff. By a stroke of luck, a queue pops with 33 minutes left on the clock. A TFT game is typically 35 minutes, which meant I would have to surrender to end the game prematurely to get the 4th rather than playing it out I played out of my mind and did not say a single word for 32 minutes straight, and I found myself fighting for a Top 4 with 5 HP left. The guy in 5th had 3 HP, so in this last round, I just needed him to die with less units killed. I hit a necessary 5-cost Aatrox on my LAST BIT OF GOLD and my board spikes. The best case scenario happens, I get a <2 unit loss, my opponent takes a 4 unit loss. I see my chat in my peripheral vision going crazy because I realized I was gonna make the cutoff with less than a minute left. With adrenaline pumping and "I have to forfeit ASAP" in my head, I type /ff... But... because I didn't wait for the death animation to finish, I surrender before the next round comes. When you surrender in TFT, your health goes straight to -99. When I saw the results screen, I froze. My limbs were cold from the nerves, but I didn't even feel it. I looked at my screen in despair, as I had just witnessed the end of my bootcamp run. The clip below is from my only TFT upload on my channel. In Set 14, I got #2 in the Bootcamp and lost by 1 game's worth of LP. #1 grinded more, wanted it more, and improved like a beast. I could only respect such a gallant victory. (shoutout niamocha) Thank you BoxBox for giving me these chances to compete. I will change my fate this set.

After-Hours Spider Hero 🕷️🌙 By day, he saves the city. By night, it's instant noodles, video games, and a well-earned break. Made with GPT Image 2 + Seedance 2.0 Mini on Pollo AI #PolloAI #PolloSpiderVerse Prompt: Part 1 – Hero on Duty (0–15s) Style: Stylized 3D animation, comic-inspired aesthetic, original non-branded spider-themed hero, expressive animation, vibrant sunset lighting, cinematic camera, exaggerated facial expressions, smooth action, 16:9, 4K. Prompt: Create the first 15 seconds of an animated short about an ordinary spider-themed superhero. Scene 1 (0–7s): A masked spider hero swings between towering skyscrapers at sunset, dodging explosions and stopping a giant robot. Fast-paced action, comic-book speed lines, dynamic camera movements, cheering crowds, epic heroic atmosphere. Scene 2 (7–15s): After defeating the robot, the hero lands on a quiet rooftop. He removes his mask, lets out a long sigh, stretches his aching back, rubs his sore shoulders, and looks completely exhausted. He walks toward the rooftop exit, heading home as the sun sets behind the city skyline. End Frame: The hero opens the apartment building door and steps inside, setting up the next scene. Part 2 – After Hours (15–30s) Style: Keep the same hero, same outfit, same animation style, same cinematic quality, and same apartment for perfect continuity. Prompt: Continue directly from Part 1. Scene 3 (15–20s): The hero enters his small apartment, drops onto a worn-out couch while still wearing half of his suit, prepares a cup of instant noodles, pours in hot water, and impatiently waits for it to cook. Scene 4 (20–25s): As he starts eating, his phone suddenly flashes: "EMERGENCY! CITY UNDER ATTACK!" He glances at the notification, then at his noodles, quietly flips the phone face down, and continues eating without saying a word. Scene 5 (25–30s): He picks up a game controller and starts playing video games. Outside the apartment window, distant explosions light up the night sky. He briefly looks outside, shrugs with a smile, and keeps gaming. The camera slowly pulls back as the screen freezes with bold comic-style text: "OFF DUTY." 🎮🕷️

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle | Previews & Details ▪️You can feel the DNA of Chronicles of Riddick/Wolfenstein games ▪️Surprisingly a bit like Hitman in stealth systems and the way levels are designed ▪️There are many mysterious locked chambers, complex ancient mechanisms, and ritualistic challenges to solve ▪️Examples of puzzles: stealth section to find a golden medallion inside a Nazi base, unlocking a door that unexpectedly opens up a spike pit under your feet, reflecting multiple beams of light across a room to retrieve a mask ▪️Linear storyline, but there are open areas which include side characters, hidden secrets, added rewards, and photo opportunities ▪️One open area sees Indy in an Egyptian bazaar, passing through crowds and finding a stall, which offers up a conversation with the owner and an opportunity for a side quest ▪️These sections are "packed with detail", hidden passages, scattered documents, etc that add context to the story ▪️You'll be able to revisit these areas once you’ve unlocked them and return to find more at a later time ▪️Whip: Useful combat tool, can drag onrushing Nazis in a fight, and also used to grab object in the environment, smash them, swing with, or use as a climbing rope ▪️Camera: Indy packs a film camera that players can use to take pictures of their adventure for "Adventure Points". It also helps offering pointers for puzzles and deepening the story ▪️Journal: Acts as a sort of de facto hint system, with Indy's own notes helping to guide you. Discoveries, documents, photos, physical maps you find in the game world are also stored there ▪️Lighter: Can help illuminate dark places or maybe ward off some snakes ▪️Indy also uses other tools throughout the world, like picking up a spear to throw into a wall that acts as a swinging point, breakable bottles to distract enemies, hammers to use in combat, etc ▪️Skills: There are dozens to unlock but not through a traditional skill tree. You'll find "Skill Books" hidden in the world, each of which open up the ability to unlock a new skill ▪️You can unlock a skill through earning and spending "Adventure Points", which you get by making discoveries, taking photos, etc ▪️One skill book teaches Indy "True Grit" for example, which lets him take a fatal blow in a fight but then retrieve his hat, dust himself off, and keep fighting ▪️Disguises: Throughout the game, opportunities arise where Indy can change into different sets of clothes to blend in and enter forbidden areas ▪️One example sees Indy dressing as a worker in Giza to enter a Nazi HQ at a dig site. There he finds a group of enemies playing cards inside a tent, and is immediately forced to fetch them a drink. You can go undetected by playing your role ▪️Another example has Indy dressing as a priest at the Vatican, though your disguise won't fool everyone ▪️Not centered around combat like past MachineGames titles, but gives you many ways to defend yourself ▪️UI is very light for "true immersion" in a fight, fistfighting is a mix of punches, dodges, grabs, pushes, blocks and parries, with the aim of breaking down an enemy's defenses until you can deliver a 'custom finisher' ▪️You can also use the whip to create more space in a fight or use environmental elements to finish enemies off quicker ▪️For tougher fights, Indy also has his revolver to finish off a threat quickly, though ammo is limited, as well as temporarily grab enemy weapons like a machine gun Previews IGN: VGC: Xbox Wire: #xbox #gamescom2024 #IndianaJones
