hey if you are annoyed by his attitude please tune into the stream and spam @ him with your advice!! he needs to learn you clearly know whats best!!!

tbf “assists will help you jump in safely more” is as simple a sentence as you can possibly get. “press x when you jump” isn’t actionable feedback because it doesn’t tell you why pressing x is good.

Who tf in chat telling him 1 is up 😭😭

“6H! 6H! 6H! 6H!”

Fighting game nerds try not to be the most elitist nerds on the planet challenge being failed in these replies

“As you jump press x”

Gamers outside the FGC don't know that this is a genre you have to commit hard to and be patient with.

oh but ask him about Dota all of a sudden he's Mr. Gleipneir

People don't understand that learning nomenclature is an upfront cost to make explanations shorter in the long run, very useful in a community for people who are going to need to discuss something a lot This mf is NOT playing fighting games long enough for it to matter

Notation is fair criticism if hes not in the community but how does “jump in” set him off 😭😭

This is like being him invited into someone's house and then complaining everyone there speaks Spanish.

I know this is an insular fgc take, but numpad notation is lowkey the best of all the notation methods. It crosses language barriers and takes like 40 seconds to learn. It's easy to write too. Quarter circle forward heavy is just 236H.

crashing out over numpad notation is valid but why's he mad at that 2nd guy for explaining to him in clear english what to do

So you want to learn something and refuse to learn the lingo? Crazy work

"Primary fire is how you shoot" "Bro why not speak English and just say press the right trigger? What the hell is Primary fire" "I have no idea what you are using to play. I play on keyboard and mouse. Play the tutorial maybe?" "FPS players are elitest"

Thank God for the heroes like Woolie and Maximilian, cause if all the FGC had to build a community was the autistic backseaters this genre would be dead Love the FGC, but damn most of em got no self-awareness

I don't agree with he's assessment there. "As you jump press X" is not more clear than "assist will make your jump in safer". Explaining concepts is far more valuable than explaining out of context actions.

Telling people to speak normally after the "updoot" one is REALLY funny.

i love that he’s in his ragebaiting era, but what he said is my genuine opinion LMAO

I understand where he is coming from, but where he is coming from is a caveman that is doing math by manually counting shit instead of using any sort of abstraction to streamline the process.

Can't simply just say "jump in with X" cuz not everyone has their buttons configured the same way. That's why we have to make a universal language that covers every single control scheme

He fucking gets it

What a twat, it's not like the guy told him "punish the chicken guard attempt with a meaty safe jump option select", he just said assists can cover him??

Hi there. I am a fighting game player who has Dyslexia (difficulty reading words/letters) and Dyscalculia (Difficulty understanding and working with numbers) If I have both of these learning disabilities and can learn numeric inputs then why can't everyone else? Genuinely, why?

strive players be making google suggested passwords

I've been playing fighting games for 35 years and think that numpad notations are stupid as shit

how does a grown adult with a presumably functioning logic processing part of his brain not comprehend what a "jump in" means

The guy that bashes other fighting games, bashes people who use fighting game notations. Color me suprised.

guy tells him to use his assist to "jump in" and NL responds to him with the ult, I don't think he's cut out for this

"just imagine the numpad" meanwhile the device in the pockets of 6 billion people:

Lotsa people afraid to talk like a normal person in the replies section, but insisting they're correct #nooticing
