@adcock_brett At what point does it turn and say “what the hell, bro?” 😂

@adcock_brett When the cameras are gone they allow Hector to take off the helmet.

@adcock_brett

@adcock_brett I was waiting for this dude to stop you

@adcock_brett Wouldn’t a non-humanoid purpose built sorting robot be better for this job? Asking for a friend.

@adcock_brett The amount of cynicism in the comments is so embarrassing. PLEASE normies I’m begging you grow some brain cells. Try to imagine you are higher iq and can actually understand the implications of these robotics improvements

@adcock_brett And unnecessary

@adcock_brett Seriously stop being a dick to the rfucking robot. Pissing me off. You're gonna get us all killed

@adcock_brett This obviously is a person remotely controlling it with a VR headset. like what's the point of this demo?

@adcock_brett Warehouse parcel handler about to ask for raise then saw this video..

@adcock_brett We already have sorting machine that do this 1,000 times faster. What's the point?

@adcock_brett I wanted to see it actually work on the pile, not have to deal with crap being thrown at it.

@adcock_brett I'd stop patronizing bots at this point.

@ValaAfshar @adcock_brett It’s going to be really human like when it turns to the right and fires a 90mph package fastball at whoever is flinging them his way. 😂

@adcock_brett Why would he need legs if this is the only job for this robot? Seems odd to add logic for balancing on legs to do this job.

@adcock_brett Any robotics demo that doesn't explicitly state whether it's autonomous or teleoperated is worthless. Otherwise all you're showing off is that fact that precision actuators do, in fact, continue to exist.

@adcock_brett Comments be like

@luis_luisrom @adcock_brett Grok chill

@adcock_brett 🤔🤔🤔🤔

@ValaAfshar @adcock_brett Pushing things slightly to the right has always been one of my main struggles in life, glad that problem has been solved by technology

@adcock_brett Before you go Mr Robot we got one more test

@adcock_brett In 2069 when the robot army found this video...

@adcock_brett That is NOT impressive, we are still a few years behind where we should be right now, this is pathetic.

@adcock_brett I'm legit getting annoyed for the robot 😭

@adcock_brett That’s impressive! @Tesla_Optimus you seeing this??

@adcock_brett why are the only use-cases for humanoids just shitter versions of stuff that got automated decades ago?

@adcock_brett The bot thinking the whole time

@adcock_brett Tele-operated and not doing any actual sorting. not impressive at all. especially since a dedicated sorting machine could do it at magnitudes faster speed. Humanoid robots for industry are a silly idea.

@adcock_brett Why is there not just a laser reader on the belt that detects the package then flips at the next interchange? Instead of millions of dollars making a fully humanoid robot just to flip packages...

@adcock_brett Why do we insist on making robots in our own image? Human form is almost certainly not the most efficient design for the actual work. The planet is optimized for bipedal primates, sure… but surely there’s another way.

@adcock_brett just to get the label on the bottom for scanning purposes ?? what is the intention of this robot ? wouldn't two scanners (one up, one down) be easier, and let's face is, hellofalot cheaper ?

@adcock_brett I worked at UPS and there were many jobs like this. Mind-numbing work but the pay was OK if you had seniority. Why wouldn’t UPS be interested in an employee that’s never sick, never late, never hungover, never injured, never goes on strike and never asks for a raise?

@adcock_brett This seems like a task that would be handled 1000x better by a non-humanoid robot
