Americans don’t realize how good we have it because the fuel costs are higher right now.

Don’t expect that in California! It goes state by state. Some states regulate what prices to charge their residents. The South is usually great prices.

I never thought I'd be interested in someone experiencing things such as pumping gas. Thanks. 🙂 Also, little fact: in New Jersey, you have to wait for someone to pump the gas for you. It's the only state that still requires this.

@BrittWoo10782 A friend visiting France ruined a rental car by accidentally putting diesel into a normal car bc the handle was the "wrong" color.

Do NOT put diesel in the gas tank!!! Be sure it is GAS. Diesel handle is green or yellow, AND the nozzle should NOT fit the gas tank hole.... so, take your time......

Just a head's-up, since you're road-tripping through multiple states, some states will likely have green handles for diesel. Fortunately a diesel filler won't physically fit into a regular petrol tank so it's hard to mess up.

That yellow is e85 and not diesel. Diesel is green!

Yeah most Americans have no clue how expensive gasoline is in Europe. Then they look at the price and go hey that’s not too bad, before they realize it’s sold in liters and not gallons. It’s like $7.50 a gallon in UK right now.
