Filming eagles with a fixed 600mm prime lens handheld while trying to keep your footing on a moving boat that is bouncing around in some of the world’s most dangerous ocean rapids is hard. Very hard. Like you will most likely need physical therapy hard but I thought I’d... show more

Being early to a new field is hard. You need to ship fast, but you still need to operate in good faith without any clear rules. We would try to work with regulators and some literally thought crypto was a video game. It took a lot of time to build trust, but we committed and never took shortcuts. I’m proud that we did it this way, the right way.

Focus on an athletic stance, swing it hard and keep the head still. Of course there will be things to fix in a swing but if it’s a young player and the swing is good but the power just isn’t where you want it to be, it will come!

Elon Musk: I don't always get it right, but I aspire to get it right. “I try to take the set of actions that are most likely to improve the probability that the future will be good. And so, obviously, sometimes I make mistakes in this regard. It's not like I always get it right, but I aspire to get it right. And so, whatever I think is most likely to ensure that the future is good for all of humanity, those are the actions that I will take.” Welt Interview, April 15, 2022

Louis talking about the Donny shirt he designed but gave his grandad the credit😭 That’s a good kit! Louis: This is Yeah. Well, I’m glad you said that cuz this is this is the one I designed actually back in the day. It’s very…If this…This is either that one or the remake. It was funny ‘cause we did it we did a…this is not really the kind of thing I should have made, but we did a competition. It was like a competition and I really really wanted to put a kit forward for it. It was just like a fan competition. And I will say I saw some of the designs. I was pretty happy with my design, but in the end, I didn’t want people to realize that I’d done it. It felt like special treatment, so, I just gave the credit to me granddad and he actually went on local news claiming that he’s designed the thing and that was that (He wanted it to be fair😭)That was this kit. I’m near certain of it. Unless we did a remake that was kind of similar. Yeah. I mean, but for like sentimental reasons, let’s just pop it here (Louis saying that he wants to buy that kit even though he might own it purely for sentimental reasons😭My baby🥰🩵) #ClassicFootballShirts

🐰; It seems like V hyung is trying to speak English too, but I think it was like this before as well. 🐰: Jimin also had a time when he worked really hard on his English and I did too, but in the end, we kind of went back to how we were. I wonder if this time will be different?

“The thing I learned while I was up there (the NHL) was how much everybody loves hockey. You have to love hockey to get to this level because you have to work so hard, and the only way you work hard is if you love it.” Amen, Josh Dunne, amen. If you want to support your kid in their dream to play at the highest levels of this game, the most important thing you need to do is create an environment where they will continue to fall in love with the game.

Sam Altman reveals building Codex was a "crazy kamikaze mission" to beat Claude Code and that most of the best coders he knows now use Codex. "We were way behind Claude Code, and it seemed like a kind of crazy kamikaze mission to try to beat them with a coding app." "The consensus is that this kind of thing never works, and you just move on to the next one. It's a fool's errand to try to win when someone else already has momentum in a particular product category." "But we decided we thought it was really important. We asked a team to do it, and they performed a legitimate, unbelievable, very rare in the history of business thing." "Now it is the product that most of the best coders I know use." "That felt like an impossible thing, but if we hadn't asked the team, hey, we have a really important but extremely hard mission for you, it just wouldn't have happened."

Khabib reveals he didn’t want a nickname, but UFC said his name was hard to pronounce 😲😬 "When the UFC signed me in 2012, they told me, ‘My friend, your name is very hard to pronounce. You need a nickname.’ I was like, ‘What? I have my name, why do I need a nickname?’ I asked my manager, ‘What does nickname mean?’ He said, ‘Your name is very hard for them to say.’ I took Eagle because it’s a symbol of Dagestan, but after six years, everybody knows my name." 📹 WorldSportsSummit

Qullamaggie on The Big Money is Made in Holding Winners “Exactly. Big money is made in the sitting. I absolutely agree. All my biggest winners this year, SE, I was in this thing for what? 4 months? 3 months? Went up 160%. It didn't go up 160% in a day. No, it took 3 months. FSLY, another one. When we bought it on earnings here in the 30s, this thing went up 250%. It didn't go up 250% in a day, it took a couple of months. Now obviously I didn't trade this perfectly, but you know, it's all about catching big moves and catching the big juicy part in the middle. And you're gonna be financially independent in no time. On the big winners, I use the 10 and 20 day moving averages as trailing stops. That’s the mistake I made on NVAX. I really didn't wait for it to close below the 10 day. Like I just randomly sold it because I thought it was extended. Like, ah, it's not going to go up much more. I sold it like on this day here, right? It never even touched the 10 day. It went sideways for like a week. Then went up another 70%. If I had just had used the simple, close below the 10-day, which is what I usually use, the 10 and 20-day moving averages, my trailing stops, I would have made another, I don't know, a lot of money on it. Hundreds of thousands of dollars. So, you know, sometimes it's hard to stick to rules. It's hard. One thing I don't have a hard time with is stop losses, but sometimes, like I said before, holding a big winner is a really really hard thing to do sometimes. It really is. It's just unbelievably hard.”

NI-KI ABOUT CORTIS JAMES 🐥: there aren’t really any friends born in 2005 in this industry. they’re hard to find and even if i did find them, it’s not easy to just get close right away 🐥: but james is really good at dancing and also a nice person. i thought we’d probably do a challenge together someday and we ended up filming it like this. 🐥: our choreography didn’t get included, so it kind of randomly became a ‘two challenge’ thing but we still got to do ‘redred’ so i was really happy~ 🤍

👤: what would it take for you to feel that way? 🐰: so I actually know exactly what I need. I need to get better at english (laughs) at least to the point where I can make small talk or chat casually, I think that would be a breakthrough, but english is so hard😂😆 👤: duolingo 😂 🐰: from duolingo to malhaeboka, i think I’ve tried every single english-learning app out there, but the most important thing is to stick with it! 👤: everyone says, I agree, that even if you don’t feel comfortable speaking, your pronunciation in singing is very very good 🐰: that’s… i’m glad there’s that at least☺️ 👤: is that something you would do it just syllable by syllable or is it just your ear is good for that or? 🐰: yeah I think my ear is good for that kind of thing but at the end of the day, it’s not korean, it’s a foreign language for me and I don’t want native speakers to hear me speak their language and find it uncomfortable or dislike it in anyway, so I’ve personally worked very hard on it☺️

Peyton Manning explains how a quarterback earns the right to lead grown men: “The number one thing that you want to do as an NFL player is try to earn the respect of your teammates. When you’re 22 years old as a quarterback, you’ve got 37-, 38-year-old grown adults in that huddle with you.” “I went into the huddle.I was a freshman. I had this pre-planned speech. ‘Hey, I know I’m just a freshman. Let’s go down the field and score.’” “The big left tackle was like, ‘Shut the f*** up and call the f***ing play.’” “It was the best thing that ever happened to me. College, high school, NFL, they don’t want to hear that.” “They want to see you take a hit. They want to see you take responsibility for holding the ball too long. And not blame the receivers or the O-line.” “I was hard on myself. I probably cussed myself more in practice than I did anybody else.” “People knew that I was hard on myself. So when I was hard on them, it was fair.” “It was all about trying to win. Let’s try to do it together.”

Bryan Johnson reveals the MOST powerful treatment for depression ''I try to make people focus on the basics, and that's very hard when you're depressed. The last thing in the world you want to do is go to bed on time, exercise, and not eat garbage food. You just want to be lazy. I've been there. The most powerful medication is high quality sleep, exercise, and good nutrition. If that doesn't help, then you can think about the secondary things'' ''SSRIs have poor evidence. Statistically they only really make sense in more severe cases. Most people are on SSRIs when they shouldn't be, the evidence is not as good. But there's a new protocol called the SAINT protocol which is really good, it has like an 80% recovery rate. So TMS is great''
