New Line Cinema must’ve keep archive footage from the first movie in different camera angles and placed it into 5 that eventually make sense with the cameo without any CGI involved.

My only gripe with this is that they should've had him a little further away because there's no way they would've been that close and didn't hear Alex scream "You guys the planes gonna explode". Other than that - one of the best endings.
