Final Fantasy 7 - Battle Theme!

When he started whistling

I've always thought writing battle music is a particular kind of challenge for composers. You're going to hear that theme for HOURS. What elements help keep it engaging and offset the potential for it becoming obnoxious after a while? This piece in particular is one of my favorites.

The way I popped off when the whistle came in

Absolutely crushed it! P.S. This is the best battle music when that buildup in the track hits, you sit up in your chair and know IT'S TIME TO LOCK IN! What an amazing soundtrack. I also loooved the title screen music; super epic with the harp.

This is awesome and my favorite battle music in any game

FFX battle music will stay with me even after amnesia.

I love this. Did you pull those parts out by ear or use sheet music as a starter? Regardless, well done.

@mtgoethe

I don’t know people were still doing the a cappella mashup anymore. Heck yeah.

Why did I never thought of Smooth on here?! Blesses my TL and my YT! A cappella rejuvenates the world once more! 🫲🎶😩🎵🫱
