Final point on what the Halo CE remake is missing in Forerunner architecture. Look at the Silent Cartographer: it's an installation, but also a sort of cathedral. The music confirms this. There is room for shiny and metallic, but it's in places like the control room corridors.

Yeah, sadly the remake still fails to capture the essence of Halo CE's lonely, ancient, forerunner architecture. I've included a comparison video. There's a reason the structure should be largely brutalist concrete monoliths. I'm not saying it's the end of the world... but little things like do add up to change how a game feels.

James on YouTube blue light room drilling craft room analysis...🧐🤔 Many are speculating that the light in James room is from a external bulb or source but here is a overlay from his previous video of him taking out the bulbs on that side of the room and when the blue light occurred hard to sell but if u look there is no bulb there no bulb on that side of the room period. No light source and the back of the room doesn’t have a window or anything period.

Low agency in a 2 minute video: Derren Brown creates a compliance test He places 3 actors into a room The actors stand up and sit down when the bell rings He then introduces real people into the room It's fascinating AND terrifying how many people blindly copy the other people -- simply because. Mimetic low agency OS takes over. You can see from the initial look on their faces that they know it's not right -- but they copy and paste the room -- because they don't want to stand out. Richard Harris is the Ahab-like captain who wronged the wrong orca, Charlotte Rampling is very scientific and of course it's a Dino De Laurentiis production. It's based on the novel by Arthur Herzog - who also wrote The Swarm - and also features Bo Derek in her first major role. Is it any good? Well... it's clearly trying, so there is that.
