Mother is dead, father is old and lives in the village. This is not an isolated case. This is the story of thousands of families. Friends split. Communities fractured. Families torn apart. Because the country has become such a hard place that so many have to travel far and wide to make something meaningful out of life. Lil’ Wayne is one of the most iconic and influential rappers ever, a legend, and at his peak, he had one of the most dominant runs any rapper has ever had. But he also has A LOT of TERRIBLE music in his catalog. I’d argue that he’s been terrible for far longer than he was great. A lot of his music has aged horribly. And even at his peak, he wasn’t really rapping about shit. A very small percentage of his catalog has substance. Far too much of his catalog was him doing THIS⬇️

Gary Lineker has had an extraordinary career on and off the pitch. A brilliant sportsman, an outstanding broadcaster and a wonderful human being. For millions of people, Gary Lineker is the face of Match of the Day, but for millions more he is also the face of humility, warmth and decency. He had the courage to defend the humanity of refugees and to speak out against the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza. That should be recognised, remembered and celebrated.
