I didn't fully understand what you are pointing to here but if it's about the agent capability, I didn't point out anything on that. It's the same agent. The distinction I’m drawing is the surface user sees: terminal rendered in a tab vs native web chat. Here's what the official dashboard looks like:

Well been running AtomicMemory underneath Hermes for exactly this reason, per-turn classification so integrations like these do not silently pollute the memory layer over time.

@DailyDoseOfDS_ What's the issue you are facing? I haven't used Grok with Hermes. You can set XAI_API_KEY in ~/.hermes/.env, then run "hermes model" in terminal and pick xAI. Is this giving a problem? Try running "hermes update" as well once.

The terminal pipe approach works until you're deploying to someone who doesn't think in bash. Chat-first probably doubles the addressable use cases for the tool.

HERMES AGENT LEARNS FROM ITS OWN MISTAKES. UPDATES ITS MEMORY. CREATES ITS OWN SKILLS. NO CLOUD. EVERYTHING STORED LOCALLY. THIS IS HOW THE SELF-IMPROVING LOOP WORKS. most agents start from zero every session. Hermes carries forward what it learned. THREE MEMORY SYSTEMS: 1. PROCEDURAL MEMORY (how to act) stored in ~/.hermes/skills/ as SKILL.md files. when the agent repeats a complex workflow, it saves the procedure as a reusable skill. next time the same task comes up, it follows the skill instead of figuring it out again. you can also create skills explicitly: "create a skill called video-prep that captures how I format my video scripts. spoken english, define jargon inline, no em-dashes, close with a catchphrase." the agent writes the SKILL.md. available as a slash command from that moment. Hermes ships with 90+ skills. the number grows the longer you use it. 2. SEMANTIC MEMORY (durable facts about you) stored in ~/.hermes/memory/memory.md the agent scans conversations for facts worth remembering. preferences, habits, corrections, project details. real example from the video: agent tried to scrape a YouTube channel. THE SELF-IMPROVING LOOP: every agent run follows this cycle: → you send a prompt → working memory loads: SOUL.md + memory.md + relevant skills + chat history → agent calls tools (terminal, browser, delegate_task) → agent completes the task, replies to you → AFTER the reply: agent checks "did I learn something worth saving?" → if yes: updates memory.md or creates a new skill → next session starts smarter than the last this happens automatically. you don't ask the agent to learn. it decides what to remember on its own. WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT FROM CLAUDE CODE: Claude Code has memory too. but Hermes stores everything locally. no cloud. your data never leaves your machine. Hermes just made its in-app browser a whole lot more useful. You can now keep multiple browser tabs open inside Hermes Desktop instead of every new page replacing the one you were already using. And that matters more than it sounds. Because this is not just about “having tabs.” It means Hermes can work across multiple pages without forcing you to keep losing your place every time you open the next thing. Research one source, keep it open, open another tab, compare them side by side, and keep moving. Check a few products before buying something. Look at multiple hotel or travel options at once. Keep a YouTube tutorial open in one tab while Hermes looks through docs or another page in the next. And because this lives inside Hermes Desktop, you are not limited to one basic browser view either. You can keep multiple tabs open. You can view two pages side by side. You can stack them top and bottom. You can even run a four-panel view when you want several pages open at once. So the browser inside Hermes is starting to feel a lot more like a real workspace instead of one page you keep replacing. There is also some nice polish that comes with it. Browser tabs now label themselves based on the page, and the address bar behaves more cleanly while pages are loading.
