Finally a real GTA 6 has dropped! Recently surfaced footage from a former Rockstar developer’s demo reel seems to show early GTA 6 animation tests, including bicycle dismounts and an NPC jumping from a pickup truck. Ocean Drive can be seen in one of the clips.

Mike York, a former Rockstar developer, has just given millions of fans a reason to prepare for a long wait. When asked about the current 2026 release window, he stated that he "wouldn't be surprised" if the release of GTA 6 were delayed again, this time by up to six months. Such a delay would push the launch back to early 2027. There has been no reaction from Rockstar so far.

$Jason Schreier reports that Last Sentinel, an open-word scifi game developed by former Rockstar veterans and designed to compete with GTA 6, has been rebooted and most likely cancelled by Tencent after they spent 6 years and hundreds of millions on it. The footage was recorded by a AAA Carting truck, and the truck can be seen flipping on its side after being too tall for the clearance. Pernell Harris, the truck driver from South Carolina, has been ticketed for having a vehicle that exceeded the maximum height of 13 feet 6 inches. Keep in mind that this is absolutely nowhere near as clear cut as some of the other cast members (Stephen Root, Manni L Perez, Dylan Rourke etc) but at the very least I do think that there’s a strong case for it. u/Significant-Cry4539 posted to Reddit that they think John Ortiz is the cop from Trailer 2. I can definitely see a similarity in the face. The accent is also the same. However, I can’t find a clip where he speaks in the same tone as the GTA 6 character does, which makes it hard to say for sure. John has also commonly played police officers in the past. He starred as one in Nobody 2 just last year. Rockstar is clearly open to casting popular actors in GTA 6 too considering Stephen Root is playing Brian. I definitely think that this could end up being correct but I’m still far from certain. There’s not any real evidence outside of a resemblance, similar voice and previous roles. It could for sure end up being somebody else. Fun speculation though!
