⭐️: What am I into these days? These days? These days, I kind of just… I think I’m living in a sort of "no‑thoughts" state. I don’t really have emotional ups and downs, just… I'm calm. I kind of, I don’t really know my feelings these days. It’s not like my emotions are going up and down a lot or anything, but then, when I met a friend of mine and we talked I realized I actually have more worries than I thought. But I also wonder if I just didn’t have the space to talk about them. So, on one hand... I don’t know if I have a lot of worries or if I just don’t have thoughts. With work, work is busy too but sometimes I even wonder if I’m actually busy. Because when you do so many schedules… you don’t really feel it. Like, maybe I am really busy but I just can’t feel it. No, It’s not a slump. It’s pretty far from a slump. A slump is when work doesn’t go well and doing things feels hard, but I’m not like that. When I work, it’s fun and exciting, I just don’t really have emotional highs and lows. So I wonder if maybe this is actually a good thing?That’s how it is. I don’t think you need to worry about this, but actually, I did have a lot of worries and concerns… I just didn’t realize I was worrying about them? Yeah. "Maybe it’s because you haven’t had much time to take care of yourself?" No, but I think I’m actually the type who takes care of myself pretty well. Ah, recently I’ve been going to the sauna alone pretty often and I’ve had some time to think while doing that. No but, compared to before being thoughtless/empty-minded actually seems better, compared to when I had so many thoughts I couldn’t sleep. The translator Anton Hur shared a story about how RM “saves” the Korean literature and about his impact on publishers and sales. 👦🏻 My favorite live-saving, Namjoon story that I have is that…so a long time ago, I picked up this book by Lee Seong Bok about their aphorisms, about his poetry writing, about his poetics. It’s a very obscure topic, who reads about poetics?! But I read this book, it’s called ‘Indeterminate Inflorescence’ and I loved it! I was like, ‘Oh this is the life book, it’s like it contains all of my artistic ambitions in this one book but no one is going to publish it because no one is going to allow me to translate a book about Korean poetics so but I did find one publisher, it’s not even in New York, it’s in Seattle…And one tiny publisher that said ‘Okay, we’ll publish this book’, and then, a month before this book was supposed to come out, Namjoon posted about the aphorisms by Lee Seong Bok and when I saw that I thought like the angels were singing in the heaven and like manna was raining on me…I could not believe that this was happening and then like the first print got sold out, the second, the third got sold out. This tiny book that you know, it wasn’t a hit in Korea, it was like completely obscure. When I mentioned in Korea people were like ‘Lee Seong Bok wrote a book about aphorisms?’ like even if they know who Lee Seong Bok is…And now we have a, I think they’ll allow me to announce it but we have a deal for Lee Seong Bok’s poetry collection that summer’s end, that also Namjoon posted so I’m just so grateful to RM for saving Korean literature! 🔗 🔗 #RM #방탄소년단RM #김남준 #BTSRM

What worries me most when I see videos like this is that these girls genuinely have no idea the danger they could be in. They just post to their social media and add a saxophone like it’s some sort of game. I have reached out to ask exactly where it was but no reply yet. Grok is telling me Eastbourne by the pic I have of the outside so I’ll post in the comments. Try and identity the location if possible. This is not normal behaviour in any way.

Day 60 of the next 50 years was cardio with back and abs with a lil shoulders. Finally got to lat pulldowns for the first time in weeks. After some heavy T-bar I got them in! This is my neighborhood in Shanghai, Putuo district, right on the edge of Jing’an district, hugging the Suzhou River. A neighbor once told me this river used to be so dirty that it marked the divide between doing fine and barely getting by. Look at her shine now😍 It’s my 10th year in this neighborhood and I always wake up grateful. You can go for a pre-sunrise run in the dark and feel safe. You’ll pass uncles airing their birds in trees, grandmas doing their morning dance routines, tai chi masters moving like water, and young folks chasing their 5Ks. This is my version of peace, no catcalling, no clutching your phone like it’s gold, no second-guessing if it’s safe to walk alone. Just you, the sunrise, and the Suzhou River. No wonder I’m staying. To those who criticize without ever setting foot here in China: genuinely hope one day you get to feel this level of safety. It might just shift your entire worldview.
