Finally experienced the Missing Link/ Connecting Link on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. • Crossing the entire ghat section now takes just 8-10 minutes. Unreal considering it used to take hours sometimes. • The tunnel is massive, 4 lanes + service lanes inside. • The bridge section is genuinely an infrastructure marvel. • Found a hidden spot in Lonavala from where we could see the entire Missing Link from far away. Beautiful view. As someone who regularly travels between Pune and Mumbai, this is going to make a huge difference. Now just waiting for Navi Mumbai Airport international flights to start.

A California truck drivers union is suing the California DMV over issuing permits for driverless trucks “New rules now allow companies to apply for permits to test and deploy driverless heavy-duty trucks but the suit accuses the DMV of failing to conduct an economic review and not giving the public enough information about possible effects on jobs and safety.” The truck drivers union ‘Teamsters California’ says by allowing drivers trucks this would eventually wipe out more than 200,000 semi-truck drivers in the state These jobs pay over $60,000 per year so this is hundreds of thousands of good paying jobs that would be replaced with automation
