finally got around to watching Charlotte Zhang’s TYCOON. Propulsive, furious, overwhelmingly warm. Needle drops so good I wanted them projected onto a brick wall during a set. Breathtaking stuff. You Really Really Need To See This Shit

“I haven't really done a lot of press in a while, so, it is quite nice to be reminded of what you've done in your life.” “Really good stuff, really good stuff. Like, really good. No duds. No duds at all.” “Oh, there's duds.” “We don't know about the duds.” “I got rid of them. They've been erased.“

I always remember Swedish as being really smart/good during this era and decided to watch the Armada set to see how good he really was w/ my 2026 eyes. Came away super impressed so I made a little annotated/edited version for people who haven't seen the set :)

Moments like this it’s really important to have a good set of coaches. Not being able to see during a fight is the worst feeling in the world. The late great Robert Follis got me to win this one

Fluffy Hernandez is the epitome of no non-sense: "I really don't give a f*ck about fights, to be honest. I feel like if I'm watching them and shit, I'm just doing fanboy shit. I really don't give a f*ck. I mean, f*ck, I've been on a f*cking crazy streak and I still haven't got a title shot, so I really don't know what to expect... I'm just really good at hurting people and that's about it. One day I get a step away and that's what I look forward to."

"I get the pleasure of being able to see the day to day. We always get judged on Saturday, but I know how we got there. And if you just say consistent-and you've got a really good culture and really good coaches and really good people, things like this are just going to happen."

Suki Waterhouse talks about Robert Pattinson going into director mode while helping her record audition tapes! 😹 "It's always really good when he helps me as well. But sometimes he wants to get really into the cinematography, like move around the house. We did this one self-tape where I'm like, 'No, we just need to be against a background.' And he wanted to do it like I was in the bathroom, on the toilet, and wanted to film— and so started the shot with my pants around my ankles, and then I had to pull them up. He wanted to do this twist into the mirror so you couldn't see me do my pants up [...] No, I had lines, then I had to move, and I had to be in heels and a skirt. He got so into it. It was like, 'This cut, this heels. Okay.' It's insane. [Well, he's a director.] He's a director." (

Carmelo Anthony says he would accept the Knicks president job if no one questioned his decisions for five years while he built the right team “I would really have to have a really good team. Really good front-office team. Really good numbers guy. I would have to build it like a team. You got to have your point guard. You got to really build that shit. I need my six man” “It depends on the situation. Like, somebody say, ‘Yo, Melo, we really want you to come in here and have this situation, build this situation, put your team together with this situation and we going to rock with you for five years. We can’t question anything you do for five years’” “I understand New York. I’m New York”
