Finally John Oliver came through

Those kids got my eyes leaking. Especially when he said, “I’d really like that!”

This is one of the few episodes where I could actually agree with everything he said. A ceasefire is the only solution. All this unnecessary death. Are the egos of the politicians in control more important than the suffering of your people?

The extremist want a greater Israel. Which means control of the whole region, not just Palestine. It’s settler colonialism. Same old story.

It’s all tragic because Israel supported Hamas financially. As late as 2019 Netanyahu said do. It’s part of their divide and conquer strategy. They use Hamas as a reason not to have a two state solution. All this could’ve been avoided.
